Mario thank you !!! When I went to auto zone today for a battery change I was immediately greeted by an employee named Mario. He was incredibly polite, helpful and Dedicated. I went in for a battery change not knowing the first thing about changing one myself. Thankfully Mario helped me find the correct battery but also installed it for me; as well as teaching me step by step along the way. Mario is truly an employee who goes above and beyond. Ps: Will definitely be back when when in need of maintenance for my car.

Stopped by this AutoZone and was greeted with a smile. I asked if my car battery was still under warranty, and the young lady quickly confirmed it was. I didn’t have any tools on me, so I asked about buying pliers , instead, she went to the back and let me borrow tools to remove the battery. I swapped it out, started the car, and was back on the road in no time. Excellent customer service from start to finish. A+++

I went in for oil and filter and this employee named Mario helped me with everything I needed. Told me the type of oil I needed and filter. He even told me about a deal that I get a free air filter. Very helpful, will always come back for my oil and filter

They do a lot of basic diagnostic check such as battery or engine issues for free. I went there for a corroded battery, and they helped me install it without charge. Wonderful people who seem to go out of their way to help you. Highly recommend (wish I had got their names to thank them / recommend them here)

Johnny Was very pleasant cordial very polite took his time to help me install the battery on my car. If I can give him 1000 starts for customer service I would. Same for Valentina who was sweet n patient with me n Got Johny to help me. I want to take a moment to recognize Emilio at the North Bergen store. From the minute I walked in, he went above and beyond to help me. I came in unsure of exactly what I needed for my car, and not only did Emilio take the time to explain my options, but he also walked me through the differences so I could make the right choice. He was patient, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I left with the right parts. What really stood out was his customer service he didn’t rush me, and he even double checked everything before I left to make sure I was set. Employees like Emilio are the reason I’ll keep coming back to AutoZone. It’s rare to find someone who takes that much pride in their work and treats customers with that level of respect.

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough to share. Yesterday, I went to the store looking for a light bulb for my car. I asked an employee for help confirming the right one. He said he would check it on the computer but made no effort to even look at my car, which was parked right outside. I wasn’t asking for mechanical work — I just wanted to be sure before buying. He told me he couldn’t check the car because there were only two people working, yet he didn’t appear busy at all. To make things worse, at the end he said they didn’t have the light I needed — without even knowing which one I was actually looking for. This was a clear example of poor service and zero interest in helping customers.

This location is RIDICULOUS!!! First of all they didnt have the part we needed again, and now we are trapped in the parking lot because people are working on their cars...blocking traffic everywhere!! AND TO TOP IT OFF, a worker is helping a guy illegally parked! Someone needs to monitor this RIDICULOUS PARKING AREA!! NEVER AGAIN!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an incredible experience at AutoZone thanks to Andrew, and I just had to share! From the moment I called ahead, Andrew went above and beyond to ensure my visit would be smooth and hassle-free. He invited me to the store, providing a level of customer service that is truly rare these days. When I arrived—despite the pouring rain and the late hour of 9:30 PM, right before closing—Andrew was ready to work. He tackled my complicated battery issue with confidence. Watching him work, you could see not just skill, but also a genuine commitment to helping me out. It felt great to receive such dedicated service, especially when so many would have been looking to close up for the night. As soon as I walked into the door at this Autozone I was greeted by the most polite workers I have ever encountered. The parts expert manager Andrew was super helpful when it came to solving my problem. I needed a check engine test and without hesitation he helped me out and even gave me full detail of what the problem might be. He even recommended me nearby mechanics who can take a deeper look into the problem. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Frankie who was there with Andrew and gave me even more advice about cars. These 2 workers definitely display what a true and honest employee resembles and deserve a raise for the hard work they put in to each customer. I definitely recommend coming to this store! 10/10!!

Drewski at Autozone was a great help. He helped me out when I knew nothing about cars and was polite and patient with me. Him and tank were an awesome duo at the store and both deserve the recognition they deserve. I’ve been to many retail stores but not one like this where the service is for sure 5 stars!

5 Stars - 10/10 Experience! From the moment I walked through the front doors of AutoZone store #1125 on 51st Street in North Bergen, NJ, I was greeted with top-notch service. Isaiah, the store manager, and his team were incredibly attentive and made sure I felt welcomed and taken care of. I wasn’t sure exactly what I needed, so I took a few minutes to walk around the store — and wow, I was impressed. The shelves were fully stocked, the floors were spotless, and everything was well-organized. It’s clear that this team takes real pride in their work, and that positive energy comes straight from the top. Isaiah has created an amazing atmosphere in this store. In the end, I got exactly what I needed, and they had me in and out in under 10 minutes. The music and the atmosphere in the store just made the whole experience enjoyable and easy going. This AutoZone is by far the best location in the county. Ate trying 2 other locations for a battery purchase/install none were willing to complete it. The guys at this location went the extra mile just before closing, completed the battery swap and got me on the road again!! thanks to Jonathan for answering my call and Jorge for the install A+ stellar service

They were very nice but I wasn’t able to get my battery installed at this location. i guess they don’t do 2010 Kia Soul battery installation. They did have a battery for purchase, and said I could go next door to Mavis Discount Tire and they would install it, but at Mavis they said they didn’t install 3rd party batteries. I ended up buying a battery at Mavis and they installed it. The store had a large inventory and no wait and again the staff was nice.
