Smitty's National Park Auto is simply THE place to have anything done for your vehicle! His knowledge of cars and trucks is great, the pricing is fair and he has the right people working there. They all take the time to work with you. I recommend this repair shop for all automotive needs.
He did some custom work for me and saved me big $$$$ money. My cataylic and exhaust pipe rusted and was hanging down. Local chain repair shop wanted to replace the whole exhaust system and charge me $2400. Smitty's welded my exhaust system back together for $500... Saved me big money....
Tom is always pleasant and explains what you need to repair your car. He has helped my family out so many times when we had car issues. He and his shop are the best around and have reasonable prices. I highly recommend this shop for all your auto needs!

2 years ago I was looking for someone to just take a look at my car up on a lift and tell me what part I needed to order. I called three other places- everyone wanted to charge me to take a look. Vs at Smitty’s (then I believe they went by another name, but it was the same man working there then as now) he looked at it told me exactly the part to order and was happy to help, no charge. I came back and had my long flex pipe replaced with them- perfect work and no problems years later. I have since come to them for tires and random check engine light repairs and have been so impressed every time. I refer them to friends and family I hear with car problems. Keep it up, the world needs more honest mechanics like the ones over at Smitty’s! Thank you!!

I've had issue after issue with my car. I took it to a mechanic who just never seemed to get the jobs done right. After having enough, I called Smitty's. They squeezed me in and fixed my car within mere hours. Finally!! A shop of awesome mechanics who know what they're doing, not to mention down to earth, friendly and so helpful. I finally found my car's place!! If I could give more stars, I would. They're the best of the best.
Since I’ve moved 15 years ago I’m not as close to Smitttys Auto anymore. I have plenty of places near me and on the way to his shop that are good. But I go that extra mile for a few reasons. For one he is the best around. Doesn’t matter if it’s a basic job or complicated, he will get it done and have you out the door quickly! The other reason is he is as honest and fair as they come and that’s a hard quality to come across anymore. I have had many instances where others would overcharge on unnecessary expenses, but Tom will not. He will repair what is needed and charge you a fair price. The other day I went for brakes because of a warped rotor and anyone else would have put new ones on and charged me. Not Tom! He took a good amount of time in his busy day to call the manufacturer about the issue and had them warranty the problem rotor and replaced them no charge. This is the type of business that you want trust with your car. My family and friends have also came here forever. This is why I don’t mind going the extra mile to get my cars fixed here.
We switched over from a long time mechanic after having an ongoing issue not getting fixed there. Even after the ownership change, they’ve always proved they’re honest. A good, honest mechanic is hard to come by. That’s why we won’t go anywhere else.
I've got a guy! You know that feeling, when there's a professional who fosters good relationships with the community and prioritizes doing right by people? That's been my experience with Tom. It's been awhile since I've had an automotive "guy". I've had places where I take my car for issues, some feeling more on the "up and up" than others. Tom is an amazing owner who goes above and beyond to make sure customers are satisfied because it's his name on the line. I have known this young man his whole life. I knew his father very well. His father operated the old Arco gas station in town. 3 generations of mechanics. I will not go anywhere else.
Tom has been working with me to get some issues taken care of with my car that another mechanic already "fixed." My parents have always used him and I had a repair done spur of the moment by someone who was open on a Saturday., which I fully regret. He's been really patient with me and meeting my needs. Definitely recommend.
I was so very stressed because the dealership was charging me so much to fix my car window. I also needed a quick, reasonable fix as a new working momma, driving my 8 month old son around. A few recommendations and a quick google search sent me to National Park Auto. When I called, Tom immediately took care of me as if I was family. National park auto is a great auto repair shop. The owner Tommy is trustworthy and reliable. I trust on him for all my auto repair needs. I live 20 minutes far from his auto shop but still I go always there. I took all my 3 cars to him since last 7-8 years. Tommy is always helpful and find out what is best way to fix things.
