The worst towing service, waited for them for 4 hours. Avoid them at all costs. They don't know how to talk to the customer, the customer service is terrible. the prices are too high
Jack was a charm when assisting me. She was invaluable when I asked for directions to the place and how much it was going to be; she never gave me a hard time when I asked questions. The price to take my car out was a bit steep, but I don't blame her. Overall, she was a sweet lady and definitely made the process easier for me.
I had an outstanding experience with this container service from start to finish. The booking process was simple and straightforward, and C. Dente was incredibly responsive to my questions. Delivery was right on time, and the driver placed the container exactly where I needed it.

I reported this to my company but they said the value of the item wasn’t enough to go after them.
That’s fine.
The truth is someone stole an insignificant item and they probably did it because they could get away with it. So if you have anything in your truck that you’d say to yourself “who would take this?” Someone would. And my truck was towed by someone at this command dropped this morning at a dealer I went in to check my truck shortly after it was dropped and noticed my stuff was gone.
The listed location for Dente is incorrect. The actual site has no address (see photos). More importantly, I was stalked by Dente at my family's home.
My car was towed from a CVS in Bloomfield, NJ without my knowledge. When I called the number on the towing sign, the person answered with a surprised "hello" and then told me to call another number before hanging up. Every person I spoke to was rude. One even told me to report my car as stolen.
A CVS employee mentioned Dente towed their car before to a shady, abandoned lot. When I called back, they suddenly admitted they had my car and gave me an address—seemingly an IKEA or Raymour & Flanigan in Elizabeth, with no sign of Dente on Google Maps. When I asked for clarification, they got aggressive and hung up.
I took an Uber 45 minutes through rush hour and wandered for 30 minutes in freezing weather before finding an unmarked lot full of vehicles. A Dente truck confirmed it was the right place. I entered a run-down trailer where one man smoked inside while another slammed the door behind me. I waited an hour in the cold with no updates before they released my car—for $475.
The next day, I noticed damage to my rear hatch. A month later, after consulting a body shop and insurance, I reached out for their insurance info. They bounced me between numbers before I finally got an email response from Annette Dente, who—unlike the others—was polite but denied responsibility, citing a scribbled "no damage by Dente" note I unknowingly signed.
The next morning, a Dente truck was parked outside my home. When I saw it, the driver sped off. Given that my home is far from their location, this was clearly a threat. I reported it to the police and NJ Consumer Affairs. If this happens to you, please report it—no one deserves this treatment.
I had a great experience using C. Dente Towing for my rolloff truck that had broken down on the road. The operator had a truck there within an hour and was very mindful while hooking up my truck. I will definitely utilize this long time, family owned business again! Thank you!!
They took my vehicle & lied about it so I would pay more money per hour. Had me calling police & my insurance just to find out that they had it the entire time. Definitely an unethical business & I will contacting the department of consumer affairs.
the guy at the front desk was extremely rude and impatient then when i got my car ,turns out they left my window down and a raccoon got in my car ! ruined the interior of my car and scratched up my windows . and on top of that ,somebody was obviously going through my car because my sunglasses weren’t where i had them (there were no raccoon prints up front) AND they stole my engagement ring!!! i definitely will be taking them to court.
So my car gets stolen.. the criminals crash it and total it.. so car is done for.. but these low life’s want 150 just for me to get my babies items from my own vehicle (even though they’re going to make money from selling parts) .. God will punish each of them ALL individually that work and are apart of this scummy business they’re apart of..
This place owned by former POLICE OFFICERS, can you imagine?

It was a bad rainy day, floods and wires down due to winds. My rig lost power couldn’t get it started, C Dente sent heavy duty tow truck. My semi was taken to repair shop carefully and quickly. They were courteous, professional and efficient. So Impressed and grateful.
I really like everything about the service provided to me by Dente Towing & Carting. First, let’s start by the price which was very satisfying to me. The scheduling, the bin was dropped before the expected time. The pick up, when I called for the pick up. They were very courteous to me with no rush. And, when the pick up driver came with the first trailer which was too big for my driveway. He had to leave and come with a smaller one. I really appreciated the service I got and the professionalism of the team. I would recommend Dente Towing & Carting to anyone looking forward to getting ride of drunks and debris.

I cannot say enough nice things about C. Dente Towing and Trucking. We've used them a few times for a dumpster. Our calls were answered, didn't have to leave a message and wait for them to call us back. Our dumpster was delivered promptly and picked up promptly too. They were very professional and supportive of our needs.

Pricing was very competitive. The owners are such nice people and customer service was great. The driver was on time and very careful when placing the dumpster in our driveway. Highly recommend!!
I ordered a container and they were fast to deliver. I asked if I can keep it slightly longer and they did not have any issues with that. When I called for pick up they immediately came to pick up. Fast, Courteous and affordable. Would definitely recommend (and have already) to others. 5 stars ⭐ for me.

Horrible service, nasty workers, unpleasant people. Car was towed kept from me for twenty four hours... just so they can get the over night fee, meanwhile I was willing to get it two hours after it got towed and to top it off I wasn't allowed to get any belongs from my car. EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS A SCAM. Good luck if this place crosses your path.

I strongly urge anyone looking to do business with Dente Towing get an exact price in writing for
the services they are to do. I would put this company in a category of no Business Ethics or
Integrity or Morals. Instead of the term Band of Brothers they are a Band of Thieves. The previous
review was written by my employee Matt Pasquini, that gives you the underhanded nature of this
company. They quoted us $250.00 an hour for the service which we agreed to however with the
late arrival at the site with the wrong wrecker sending a second wrecker that once on the airport
property this driver get's arrested they send a third driver who did the service we requested, which amounted to 3 to 3 1/2 hours of work, they charged us for 7.20 hrs of work with 4 hours of that
was there fault. We had no choice but to pay there extortion demand since they were holding our customers vehicle hostage. If these reviews prevent one person from being taken advantage of by
these thieves then our efforts of exposing there business tactics have been substantiated.

I contacted Dente about loading some trucks at the Newark airport on 11/12/15. They sent in the wrong equipment and had to bring in a second wrecker. The driver on the second wrecker was arrested at the airport due to having an expired license so a third driver was sent in. That driver did assist with the move and the final vehicle was moved back to their facility. When I tried to get that truck I was told an outrageous amount of $1,800.00 which billed me about 5 hours on a wrecker that wasn't the right equipment and didn't even do any work! They even started my time at 1100 when I called in the load at noon! My vehicle was held hostage until the amount was paid. If you don't want to pay $1,800.00 for a tow don't use these thieves.
