I had a huge issue with my girls car. It crashed and she was gonna junk it. Marcela and Gus literally walked me thru the whole parts buying and advised on how to get it painted and repaired. Such good people and such good parts. I'm not sure why I never saw this place before but thank god for these guys.

MARCELA is the best !!! She is very knowledgeable and found me everything I needed for my car . Along with being a great at what she does she’s also the sweetest. Thank you for making this process less stressful for me ! 10/10 recommend I’ll be back !

DO NOT EVER SHOP THERE!! The girl that’s works there is very unprofessional and needs to be fired. APO will take your money and have no regards to any further needs. Very rude and dismissive. She may work in Newark, but you are not from the streets of Newark. There is an huge difference. Learn to treat the people that’s keeping your business afloat fairly with dignity. I was there this afternoon to order. The lady asked me to sit down and I tried to tell her I can't sit and write on paper. She was ignoring what I was saying. The manager came like he want to fight. I was confused about what did I do wrong. Very bad experience with the manager and the lady at the counter. Please try to see how to approach the customers.

Do not shop at this location . Customer service is horrible and they give you the wrong parts. The manager is a very bad person and so as his workers. They talk to you any type of way. They have no respect for their customers what so ever. They just want your money. That’s it.

Very bad service. When I wanted to pick up my order, there was a person in front of me. I was waiting and when it was my turn, the person in the computee was rude, saying that I had to wait seated and wait him to call me and that I interrupted. There are no chairs in the place to sit or a sign that says that you have to sit and wait to be called. The service was very rude by that person. It is a business where people go to buy something and pay their money. Better customer service should be provided.

Gustavo is the best. Period he just saves my life with getting a bumper no one could find. Don't listen to these liars on here. They stay harassing the staff . Gus and his people are amazing.

I don’t understand this store When u get there to pick the parts and you ask simple question they say you are lazy You have to call 1800 number and ask them Ridiculous how they treat people Price are ok But customer service absolutely ridiculous The employee need some education on the job and learn how to welcome the customers better Or soon this store will be close

Such Great Customer Service from the Employees. Mafalda was more than helpful and was able to provide service with professionalism, enthusiasm, and very respectful. Pricing was also extremely great and fair. 10/10 would highly recommend and will be back in the future

Greatest part store ever. I call I pick up a day later and the prices are the lowest. Gus take so much time making sure I got the right stuff. I read some old comments these customers I’ve seen first hand harassing the girls or bullying for discounts. Don’t pay them any mind this place is great.

I always appreciate being greeted by their star, Crystal. She is well versed in this role and always has a bubbly attitude. The prices here for body parts is outstanding!! I haven't waited more than a day for a part even on weekends because they're opened for a short time on Saturdays. What it most appreciating is when they have the parts in stock which 99% of the time they do for my 2006 Sienna Thank you APO for being the best discovery last year!

Terrible customer service experience in the 491 Mulberry St, store in Newark, New Jersey 07114. Tall Female representative has no patience, with bad manners and starts treating you like you are a 5 year old. Another customer who was present confirm being treated the same way. If you don't follow her instructions immediately, like you can't walk you can't look at shelve product, you can't ask because is not your turn and you must sit, then she refuses to help you because you did not listen to her and you literally get thrown out of the store. She also refuse to talk to me when it was my turn just because I am not an actual mechanic evendough I was just picking up a prepaid part. No other customer service rep. Helped me and when I asked to speak to manager, I was thrown out of the store in a bad, unprofessional and disrespecful maner. I will never ever do business with APO business ever again. I have called main corporate office to complain and speak to upper manager or even the actual business owner. This is just no acceptable!!!

First , for me to have to come here and write a review you can imagine my experience. Gustavo the manager , amazing person *sarcasm* , very unprofessional does not know how to speak to peoplez. I noticed almost all of the bad reviews are because of him. it’s not a coincidence, this is not the first time this happens, I can imagine how many more are badly treated but don’t say anything. great place just bad manager, hopefully something can be done about this.

Very discourteous staff! I felt very unwelcome in the Newark, NJ, store. The man who attended to me showed prejudice, was arrogant, rude, and... When one has to call the police based on a simple transaction, something is desperately wrong. I do not recommend this business.

Maybe I have reviewed one other establishment. But, the help I received from whom I believe to be the manager here was exquisite. He requested all the info of my vehicle, very thorough, patient, and timely. Got in got out with the correct parts I needed to repair my vehicle. Which was hard to believe with the amount of customers waiting. Top notch. Also, warehouse staff attentive and prompt. Great experience. Shout out to this guy ! Definitely will return !

The best place to purchase aftermarket parts. I use these guys a lot for parts as they are conveniently located in Newark and their staff is super nice and very knowledgable. I usually deal with Crystal and she is just the absolute best!!!! She's very patient, knowledgable, and fast. Give these guys a try!

Greatest parts place in the north east. Gustavo is so patient and so smart with the parts. I’ll I do is call the 1800 come in and pay. My life is so much easier with such a good store and good guy. Don’t pay mine to these Bad reviews. I’ve seen how bad some customers try to treat the people that work at APO.

Gustavo the manager is very very confrontational. I’ve been coming here very regularly and the way he treats people wow. I haven’t had a problem with him but I see many ppl always have an issue. The slightest comment or even if you mistake The part when ordering he belittles you. It’s very unprofessional. He is suppose to help people find out what they need not belittle anyone. He lets his friends go into the warehouse in the back, he lets his friends cut in line when ordering. Or even has them get their part before anyone else. He shouldn’t be manager. Someone needs to oversee him or relaxed him. This is a great place for parts but he is the only one who ruins the establishment. The female is super sweet and very helpful. As well as the other male but Gustavo is a terrible person. Only plays favorites and very confrontational when unprovoked.

Horrible customer service from receptionist Gustavo from APO Newark, NJ. We went to pick up a part that was previously ordered and paid for and Gustavo claimed to not have found it. We attempted to give him the order number, r/o number, or the invoice number to look it up. Gustavo refused to look it up and kept repeating the we have to call the 800 number for assistance. He refused to assist us any further. We tried communicating with him and he said, you have to move to the side if you are going to keep talking. He was extremely rude so we left. A female employee of ours went back a few minutes later with the order number, invoice number, and r/o number and Gustavo miraculously found it. As someone who is supposed to represent APO as a reputable organization, Gustavo is doing an extremely poor job. We have been customers of APO for many many years but unfortunately, service matters and we will not be returning. I read a couple of reviews and many of the poor ones specially mention Gustavo. Very unprofessional. Gustavo clearly takes his job for granted, does the least and simply wants to collect a check. APO needs to do their part.
