Reading these reviews make me wonder what kind of people are out there. This place is great! Stand up owner. Chill employees. Got my vote. And recommend

Paid $722.10 to get my car released and was told it was ready at 11:40 AM. The moment I asked to pick it up, the staff member shrugged and told me the driver was “out on a tow call” and followed it with “what do you want me to do about it.” That line alone tells you everything about how this place treats people.
They charged $685 + 6.625% tax, then immediately pushed a release form in front of me stating that I “received the vehicle in satisfactory condition” before I was even allowed to see it. Signing something saying the car is fine when they refuse to bring it out yet is a setup. No inspection. No transparency. Just pressure.
I paid full price and still ended up waiting outside with no timeline, no accountability, and no respect. If you think paying their inflated fees means you get basic service or professionalism, you’re wrong. This place makes every step hostile and inefficient.
Twin Towing operates like you owe them something after they already charged you hundreds. The attitude, the delays, and the forced signing before release tell you this is not a customer-focused business. Avoid them if you can.Dec 01, 2025 -

We’re in the container rental business and deal with them to purchase containers, and everybody was very pleasant. Great containers and their prices are also great. I was reading some of the other reviews and the person saying, why don’t they have four-wheel-drive pick ups like everyone else doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Any serious container company that moves empty containers primarily use single axle semi’s to haul containers, if you don’t know why ask Google. I could only imagine what a nightmare that was for the driver having some a hole complaining about why don’t you have 4 wheel drive and then having to hold the container with a payloader bucket to get it off, something was seriously wrong with that site. If the ground is so soft and unlevel that you need four-wheel-drive to drop a container and you’re driving a single axle semi the last thing you want to do is maneuver excessively because you’re going to tear up the ground and get stuck. Also people are funny, you’ve got some disgruntled person that just got their car towed, why not lend him some tools or let them in their car before paying? It might not be you, but these policies exist for a reason use your imagination, I don’t have to. I’ve seen firsthand.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This is by far the worst place I’ve ever been. The staff seriously lack basic manners and professionalism — they need proper training on how to treat customers. You’re made to feel like you're asking for a favor rather than paying for a service. A short man on the second floor, who appears to be a manager, completely ignored me when I asked for help, as if he couldn't care less. The entire experience was beyond frustrating. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

The worst experience of my life. After my car accident, which resulted in a total loss, the police had my vehicle sent to Twin Towing. That’s when the nightmare began.
The receptionist informed me that I needed a release form from both my insurance company and the police station in order to retrieve my personal belongings. When I called a few times for clarification, she dismissively told me to “pay your money and come get whatever you want.” Even if I had wanted to pay her, all of my debit cards and cash were locked inside my wallet, which was still in my vehicle. I explained this, but she showed no concern whatsoever.
When I went in person, I was treated with even more disrespect. The woman I spoke to flat-out denied everything I had previously been told, insulted me by calling me “uneducated,” and acted with a complete lack of professionalism. She was rude, dismissive, and had no respect for customers or their rights. She refused to provide even the most basic paperwork showing who picked up my vehicle, something that is my right as the owner. Instead, she told me to contact my insurance company. When I did, my insurance confirmed the vehicle had not been picked up at all.
Out of sheer frustration, I had no choice but to call the police just to find out where my vehicle actually was. Without their involvement, I would never have known.
This company showed a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, respect, and basic decency. The staff I dealt with was beyond disrespectful and completely unfit to work in customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone, under any circumstances. I deeply regret ever having my vehicle sent to Twin Towing.Aug 17, 2025 -
This is the only towing company in town so just always make sure that your registration is renewed and keep your car parked in a legal spot. It’s one thing to get upset about payment, no one wants to pay towers. But my partner and I JUST left their property after choosing to junk our car and take off the plates. After you give them their payment they don’t care about you or your problems anymore. They told us where our car was and expected us to be to able to remove the plates without a screwdriver. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t just keep screwdrivers on my person (as I’m assuming most people don’t). My boyfriend and I tried taking off the license plate using other methods, but without a screwdriver it wasn’t coming off. In fact there was another young girl there who was stuck in the same predicament as us. There were workers standing around us literally watching us all struggle with the screws. It even starts RAINING and they’re still just watching us struggle. It gets to the point where I walk back to the front desk to ask them if they have any tools to spare, to which I’m told no and laughed at by the man standing behind the counter. My boyfriend and I RUSH back home to get a screwdriver because we were told our car wouldn’t be in the lot tomorrow. We end up going all the way home and BACK to the lot (where the people we left struggling are STILL struggling) but the tool we brought doesn’t work. After all of this struggle, one of the workers who was watching us FINALLY offered to bring us a screwdriver. I don’t know if it was against policy so that’s why he didn’t do anything before, but please beware. If your car gets towed by this company, GOOD LUCK.

I had vehicle trouble on the GSP, the service I received was remarkable. The driver arrived within 10-15 minutes. The driver (Rad) was professional and caring.

If I could leave no stars I would. My car was towed here on June 9th due to me being in an accident. On Tuesday June 10th I returned to collect my personal items from the car. After retrieving my items I walked back in and handed them my keys. The man at the counter swiveled around in his chair and hung them up on the wall with the rest of the keys. On Friday June 13th my insurance companies hired another towing company called three jay’s towing to come and tow my car to an inspection sight. On Friday June 13th I got a call saying that when Three Jay’s towing tried to pick up my car there were NO KEYS. After calling and speaking to Jen who is the self proclaimed manager, she very rudely denied me any assistance and told me that my keys were never there. After asking her for the surveillance videos she told me she could no longer help me and that I would have to get a lawyer involved. She kept telling me that the other towing company lost my keys and that they’re trying to blame Twin towing. This is unexceptional. Jen, the self proclaimed manager refused to let me speak to the owner or anyone else and said that she was the only person who could handle my issue. These people are money hungry sharks that don’t care about anything other fattening their own pockets. Beware

my tires my car has new tires and sensors soThese people is a big scam my car I’ve been driving the whole day no problem I parked close to their driveway they claim I was blocking it which I wasn’t then I came out 2 hours later my car was gone and I went for the release and they told me that my car RR was flat and I said how and they said that’s how it was which is a lie I just went in my car has sensor if it’s flat it will tell me so when I got my car back my sensor stem was freshly cut I have a cap on all my sensor and they used a cutting pliers and break my sensor to use it as a excuse to move my car mind u the towing company is infront of my house and they charged me $410 to jus pull it up the drive way less than 1min work and they damaged for them to tell me it was like that and I had jus got them done is crazy they way my sensor was cut theirs no way I wouldn’t notice it cause it’s broke completely. And the air would come out fast so what they did was break it then call the cops. To make it legit to report.

This company should not be in business with the NJ highway police department. They picked up my vehicle on a Saturday and stated I can get it release same day with a credit card link they can send to your phone but once the car was in the lot the story changed. I now have to wait until Monday to come in person when they are open to process payment. Also they are charging lot fees because they are closed. I will be a the township office come Monday.

When scary things happen it’s nice to have competent, people around you. When we broke down on the GSP we couldn't have asked for a more professional experience. when calling the company in the aftermath to arrange collection of our car the office staff was professional & helpful as well.
Overall, during s scary & terrible situation we were lucky Twin was the company that responded!Dec 09, 2024 -
"Hello everyone, so today I called to get my car out of the towing shop. My car has been there for 45 days, and when I called to ask Samuel how much the payment was, he said it was $3,500 for the 45 days. I was shocked because that's crazy!
Later, I called back and asked him if I could at least get my important documents out of the car. I told him, 'Look, I just want my important stuff. I’ll give you the car, but I need my documents.' He responded that I’d have to pay $800, sign over the title, and then get my things. I couldn't believe it $800 just to get my stuff! That sounds like a scam to me.
When I told my wife about it, she called them, saying, 'This is a scam!' Samuel got mad, and the situation escalated. I ended up calling the police station, but their services were expensive.
When I went online to check reviews about the towing company, I found a lot of bad comments from other people. It's clear that this is not a good place to deal with they're scammers!" They don’t deserve five starSep 18, 2024 -
Had a 40ft shipping container delivered from Newark NJ the driver was anything but professional, we had others deliver 40ft containers that could place the container this guy could not I had to adjust it with my backhoe after he left, my wife had to hold his hand with directions, the guy kept saying let me be the professional please, your not a professional you got the container stuck on the trailer, I had to hold the container with the backhoe bucket while this guy drove the truck out from under my container. My wife would leave me if she had to hold my hand everytime I go to Newark NJ, professional drivers take time to plan the route and look 3x at Google maps before embarking on a trip, write the trip out cause we know Google will send us places we shouldn't go in a truck/trailer. We felt he was very rude had an attitude you can tell he didn't want to be here, we have grass and trees he was uncomfortable away from city busses and street lights. Most use 4x4 pickup type for deliver, he arrived with a 2wd ice cream truck single axle daycab helpless off road. My wife will call the container company we do not want them here again. Never ever be rude or give tude with customers any professional driver knows that.
Edit: the owner called and spoke with my wife after my review, that we felt very good about.Aug 16, 2024 -
Someone close to me was in a bind and got caught in a flash flood right outside their lot. The reason for the 4 instead of five is because they had me wait for some time while they rearranged their lot in prepararon for the flood. Roughly 20 to 30 minutes which was a bit annoying but any negative feelings went out the door when the driver of the flatbed, I believe his name was Billy with 25 years experience, was able to maneuver the huge flatbed on a dead end block, to be able to put the vehicle in a two car spot with very good space for the other vehicle to enter. It was not easy and he took his time to get it in working the flatbed in ways that had me biting my nails. I cannot stress enough how he knew how to work the mechanics of the flatbed to get this vehicle exactly where we needed it in a pinch. Truly an Oncore performance. $175 for the tow was reasonable, in my opinion, especially with the miracle he had to work to get the car in to where we needed it till we decided next steps. I hope I got the drivers name right so that the company knows they need to keep this guy. Billy, you did amazing with the placement of that vehicle in the driveway. 0 damage to the vehicle and 0 damage to the tight driveway. Amazing!

We had a 40' shipping container delivered this week by the twin towing company. It was delivered from Newark to upstate NY. The driver's name was Jose Vargas he was beyond excellent! Called when he was about an hour away to give me an ETA. I was working and while my husband was home he stayed in contact with me the entire time. He went above and beyond to put the unit exactly where we had anticipated it to go. If you ever have the need to use this company ask for Jose. He will take great care of you!!

Overpriced... They towed my car at 3:00 a.m. I went to retrieve my car by like 9:30 so 6 and a half 7 hours I had to pay $410 to get my car back... They made me pay the full $50 for a car they haven't had for a half a day... Then they made me pay a fee for the winch and a fee for the hookup but you can't do the hook up without the winch, so why would you charge me for two separate things... So I would never call them to assist me with anything, and I can only hope to never be towed by them again.

Needed a 20ft shipping container picked and loaded to a tractor trailer. Joe at Twin Towing was super helpful and communicative to help me get this project done. Would use them again and I recommend them to anyone needed heavy lift services.

If I could give non I would.. the experience I had with this company is completely awful. I’m pregnant , & I caught a flat yesterday. Waited 2 HRS, for someone to arrive to assist, for them to not fully perform the service because “ I had a strip bolt “ I had the key n everything set for my tire, but he insisted that he could not take it out & that you need a special “ machine “ & it needed to be towed …. & they were not going to refund my money back. Me not knowingly exactly what’s happening because I have knowledge of tires , etc. Basically told me he had no other option to assist other then to tow my car. I said ok & I called for a ride & they would arrive 20 mins… for him to say that he was not able to wait 20’mins …. Mind you I waited 2 hrs …… couldn’t even wait 20 mins…. & that he had to take me to the twin towing place to be picked up which is 40 mins from the house. ../ the guy on the other line was completely rude & unconsiderate .. paid $86 for a service that could not be complete & on top $150 to get my car released ….. it’s unbelievable. I had to take my car to a mechanic next to it & thankfully they charged me $15!!! To help, & did it with NO ISSUES. Twin towing is a rip off

DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING.
THIEVES, THEY GO THROUGH YOUR STUFF
My car was getting towed to their yard (less than a mile away from their yard) because the guy said he didn't want to tow it to my house (5 minutes away) so I beat him to the yard in another car, while he was still getting the car up and he didn't show up for a whole hour. The dispatcher said he was inside. Not once did anyone go in there. It was night time, anyone would have noticed tow truck. When I go get the car out, multiple people complained about damages to their cars and I even heard them talking about a 1500 dollar bumper they knew they were gonna hear about. Avoid this place at all costs.Aug 22, 2023 -
STOLE CARD INFORMATION!!!!
I waited for a tow for 4 hours in below zero weather (not their fault) and when I finally got a tow the driver stole my card info and used it to buy Uber rides, UberEats, and T-Mobile services. I just recently moved to NJ ( 2 days prior) and my car broke down. When I questioned the bank about the charges they let me know the charges came from an address and person living in NJ. Knowing that the only contact I've had in NJ came from the tow company I called the tow company and informed them about the situation. The dispatcher told me he would notify the owner and someone would call me back and of course I never received a call back. I tried to allow the business to make this right but they don't seem to care. He used my card totaling $480. Making international calls and everything. He was a foreigner for sure so that also let me know it was him. Plenty of reviews mentioned the thief of their personal items. They're not lying. Do not use this company!
I am pressing charges and I do plan on suing the company!Feb 17, 2023 -
I gave 3 stars because of the customer service lady but these people broke my freaking Mazda key fan when my car got towed to them and they had the audacity to tell me that’s how my key came to a brand new car & they work with the police be careful

Easy, quick. Not so expensive. My car was towed from the parkway due an accident and I was transported to the ER. Around 9:45am. Went to pick up the car after being discharged around 1-2pm and the total was about $150. I was thankful that their tow company was not too far from me

Great service! Purchased two 20' containers in Newark NJ and needed them delivered 65 miles away. The driver, Sadar, did an excellent job and placed the containers exactly where we wanted them. Patient and friendly guy, went out of the way to make things right for us. Twin towing's office and other staff members made the processes easy from first contact. Thanks Twin Towing!

the company delivered a storage container to my location. It took patience and coordination to work out all the details of being able to drop off the container in place. After many conversations and working out the detailed plan, the delivery was perfect.
The driver was polite and professional.Aug 06, 2022 -
I purchased a 20' shipping container who retained Twin Towing to deliver it. Twin Towing's Driver Elijah called me twice along his 4 hour route to northeastern Connecticut from New Jersey to be certain I was informed as to his expected arrival time. Elijah was extremely determined to place the container precisely where I needed it and worked to overcome all obstacles along the way.
Elijah was pleasant and efficient. I truly enjoyed his work and attitude toward customer satisfaction.
I would definitely recommend Twin Towing and Elijah to anyone needing their services!Mar 29, 2022 -
If you get in a very bad accident where you need to be towed (Parkway, NJ turnpike).... First thing you have to do even before the police gets there is to call your insurance company , which is a probably 1 hour wait b4 an agent connects with you on the phone .. The reason is because once the car is impounded at the towing place... you're not going to get your personals in your vehicle ,unless they know there going to get "paid " by your insurance.... So you immediately u have to set up a claim and have your insurance company call the towing service so you can have access to your vehicle and get your belongings...

Twin towing saved my life! My insurance found a towing provider to help me after the flood in NJ and I had been waiting for 5 hours and they kept pushing ETA. Eventually they canceled my order. Therefore I called Twin Towing and they promised to arrive in 20-25 mins. Joe drove the truck arrive after 20 mins and spent another hour helping me to get my car and towed to dealer. They saved me lots of time and money so that I can fix my car in time. Joe is very hardworking, friendly and professional. He will smile to you to make you feel calm and safe and then help you with everything of towing service. This is a very excellent experience I have ever had!

I had a flat tire with no spare shame on me. I called twin towing to help and within 10 minutes they were there. They towed me to tire company made sure I was ok. I can't thank them enough from the dispatch to the driver. I would highly recommend them to all my family and friends. Thank you for helping me in the pouring rain!

My experience was not pleasant at all, from the time the driver arrived to pick up my car at the accident scene. My wife was waiting on me at the side of the highway where the accident had occurred. The NJ state trooper then assessed the scene and concluded that it was not safe for her to wait there. So she exited on to the ramp. All of this was happening while i was being assessed by the EMT. When I was done with the EMT the Trooper asked the driver if it was alright for me to ride with him being that my car was on the flat bed(tow truck). When all the paperwork was finished we exited the ramp and my wife was on the opposite side of the highway. Within 2 min. of waiting on her to get to the other side that I was on the driver told me he had to go. Its below 20 degrees and i was basically kicked out of the tow truck to stand in the cold at approximately 2300hr after being in an accident. He could careless. The following day i went to the Tow yard to retrieve my personal belongings and when i gave the receptionist my information unfortunately the insurance company didn't send over my claim number etc. just yet. The receptionist was extremely rude about it and just told me the price and I wouldn't be able to get my stuff until that information was sent or if i paid. My insurance company sent over my information within mins . Now I am able to get my stuff out of the car the key's were nowhere to be found. The first guy tried to break into my car to unlock the door, but was not successful. He walked away and didn't say a word to me. I was under the assumption that he went to; perhaps check for the key again or ask for assistance. About 10-15 mins had elapsed. I went back to the front entrance to find out what was going on. The person who was in charged had no idea that i was not able to get into my car. He finally called two other workers who eventually was able to break into my vehicle to only find that my key was in the cup holder. I hope no one ever have to endure what i went through with this company.
