This place is amazing. I swear it's bigger on the inside. Room after room of well curated items. Plates, cookware, utensils, as well as toys, games and a healthy dash of local artist goods. Then they give you a tour of the several buildings out back with even more goodies. Pack a lunch and spend some time!
Finding this antiques and collectibles store was such a lovely surprise. Be prepared to spend some time as there is much to see in the main building and in the additional outbuildings. Every open space is beautifully arranged and each space offers different collectibles. The staff members are very sweet. And, last, but not least, they offer a restroom facility which is always a plus!
Loved this place. LOTS OF STUFF, even has a 2nd place called Capt scrap attic... prices weren't too bad , some a lil overrated because everyone Googles items nowadays trying to get top bucks. But overall it was fun to go through.
The place is fantastic so many items. As the saying goes buy it now. Down home atmosphere, wonderful helpful staff so many great items to look at, we always find something we love. Highly recommend checking it out
Been here many times over the years. Unfortunately it now smells like cat pee inside and the prices seem to have gone sky high. There’s better antique stores nearby.
You should probably take a walkthrough again... Especially in that little elevated room with the Christmas decor by the back door out to the barn. That's where it smelled the strongest.
Fun place to visit to shop for antiques and collectibles! Very well organized. Several buildings with a wide variety of selections. Prices are reasonable too. Give yourself at least 2 hours to really browse. Staff is very helpful. I was very pleasantly surprised when I walked through their front door!
Smaller antique/ vintage store. Limited selection. Staff were friendly. I wouldn't recommend going out of my way to visit, but if you happen to pass by, as I happened to, it might be worth a look.
This place is huge and packed full of stuff. It's all a bit dusty and dingy, but prices were reasonable so, if you're up for digging, you might find of treasures. Mostly dishware, decorations, knickknacks, and toys.
Today was a rainy day, so we visited Capt. Scrap both locations. Great call! So many memories from our childhood brought smiles to our faces. The hunt was on for things for our shore house. We found several things that were reasonably priced. The staff were so kind. I'm looking forward to stopping by again!

Love this shop! Always finding one of a kind and hard to find nautical decor, Corning Ware and so much more! It's like an indoor yard sale, with a different seller in each room and 4 outer buildings it a pickers, collectors paradise. Sales people are wonderful too! Follow them on Instagram @captscrap
Very friendly people here to help you and very special items to see and discover here. They have two locations, Can't remember where the first one was. But the second one is in Woodbine. Anyway, Definitely work stopping at both. My wife and I will return!
Love this place! Great variety of items...always something new when we go. Owners are wonderful! Only drawback is there is no air-conditioning and the fans don't do much to cool the out buildings down. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't for this.

I hope you have a couple hours to spend browsing here! It is fabulous for a rainy day. There is the main building to explore and several other buildings just outside the rear door. There must be at least 100 vendors, but likely more, filling these spaces. You can find all sorts of cool vintage treasures, antiques, seashells, Legos, toys, books, furniture, christmas decorations, kitchenware, and more. You will likely find some things you didn't know you were looking for but just have to have. The staff is friendly and helpful. I have always had a great experience when I visit Cap'n. Scraps.
It seems like the stock is the same, nothing new.
What really bothers me though is the fact it is very musty in the barn and I assume has mold lurking somewhere.
I have a sensitivity to mold. When I stopped in today, out in the barn, I had to leave. I couldn't breath. I began to get nauseated. As soon as I left and got fresh air I felt much better.
The smell is not from vintage items. It was mold.
One of most favorite places to go! Plenty of parking. Easy access to buildings but limited on appliance needs individuals. Stairs present in the main and out building areas. Inside there is limited movement and close places. They have everything from the smallest to the largest. They even have an outside zone of tool doors and so on. Two story barn is a must see. Full of anything you can think of. Toys, dolls, furniture, clothing. They had a leather jacket that was gorgeous. They are many great bargains and diamonds in the rough. Why buy new when you can be a part of history. Save yourself money get the valuable things that are sturdy and fixable. Leave a smaller carbon foot print by reusing things already made and possibly like those used by someone you know.
My wife loves this place, there is always something new to see and the prices are generally reasonable.
The variety is good and you can find everything from toys to housewares or decorating items for your home.
The staff is very friendly and can guide you to what you are looking for.
We will often ride our motorcycles to here using the back roads to get to town.
It's worth the trip.
I love this place and visit at least once a month sometimes two or three!! Every time I’m there I am always leaving with something!!! They have more that one building and the set up there is super cute! You should definitely check it out if you have never been there before!! Super nice people that work there and very reasonable prices!!!
Captain Scrap is the nicest place to go and just look around. I can always find something to buy. The prices are really good and reasonable. They have things for the home and things for big kids and little ones to. There are 6 buildings to go and look at things. I love this place I have been going here for years. So if you need something to do take a look you will be hooked on this place just like I am.
