Have taken many items to this location, including household garbage once they opened up the yard for that a few years ago. It’s a tremendous help for those of us who would otherwise have to bring trash home.
The recycling center has been the place to bring trash, paper, plastic and aluminum and even old air conditioners. The personnel here have always been friendly. A wonderful resource for OC, NJ homeowners.
I had a really good first experience at the Ocean City recycle yard because of a nice guy named Joe. The yard was neat and tidy and you could tell he took pride in keeping it that way. What a nice place to visit. Joe directed me to all the different areas - cardboard boxes, grass, shrubs and explained what else they take. Pretty amazing OCNJ offers this to its residents and has a great frontman for the operation.
We have a house in OCNJ and had a boat ton of cardboard to recycle... SO EASY!!! Just pulled up... guy asked some questions (we passed.. apparently we weren’t too shady). He then directed us to the cardboard dumpster and WHALAA... cardboard gone! YAY!
