Avoid this place like the other person said. This used to be a stand up business ran by honest people but ever since the business was purchased by different people it’s not the same. I purchased my first car through Angelo when I was in high school and any issue I had I knew I could depend on Angelo’s to take care of me. Not the same case anymore. I Dropped my car off for a tune up and they had it for over a month. I get it back and it wouldn’t stay on for a half a mile and my radio is broken. I had to tow it back to them the following day. I go to pick it back up a few days later and my engine is rattling and my radio console is cracked with missing screws. Unfortunately I know this business won’t last long with the new owners. Be aware.
Avoid this place honestly, will charge you for something you didn’t ask for and won’t do the job entirely, and charge you as if they did. Bought a vehicle from them and asked for them to check everything to make sure it was okay, here we are a little over month later and the belt for the water pump is snapped in half. I called them and was told “ you can’t tell when a belt would go bad” you can definitely tell when a belt will go bad… I’ve had someone close to me who use to work at this place and told me the stories of how they would over charge for work that was never done. Again AVOID this place
THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND SCAMMERS. My car been there for three days just to diagnose and once they did it was a fuel pump and they said we aren’t sure will do the pump then see and asked for $1497 while i called another mechanic they said $643 SCAMMERS AND THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING
One of the best small shops around. Great work, never had an issue and the prices are very reasonable. Quick turn overs and they know how to talk to their customers. 10/10
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while, and now that everything is settled I wanted to let everyone know how wonderful my experience was with Angelo’s. My transmission went and this shop went out of their way to help me find the cheapest options, explained everything to me in thorough detail, and they were invested in the best outcome for me. I truly cannot recommend this shop enough. They will not try to rip you off or get you for an extra cost. 10/10 experience!
Save your money and go elsewhere. I took my wife’s car here because her ABS light. After a couple of days I called and was told it needed a whole new ABS module and the connector which will come up to $1000 to $1300. And Joe insisted on replacing it with a part from a junkyard. After almost a week of waiting for them to even find the part Joe tells me they received the wrong part and it would be another week. I decided to go elsewhere and asked him to have the car ready for me and gave him way over 3 hours to have it ready. And guess what, it wasn’t ready. So I arrived at a new mechanics shop and I find out that Angelo’s Townline forgot to reinstall my antifreeze reservoir. so I called them and they tell me the mechanic left for the day. I will have to call back tomorrow. So the next day I call and the mechanic insist that he left it unattached but next to the engine. After going back and forth I go back to the shop and show them and the mechanic says “oh you have a V6 there’s no room to leave it so I must’ve taking it out” and goes and finally finds it in his shop. Wow, Any mechanic who gives you back your car and doesn’t put it back together correctly and fights you on it should be questioned if they really know what they’re doing? So maybe I just had bad luck with Angelo’s towline. But nonetheless here is my warning, proceed with caution!
This shop is the best in south Jersey! They go over and beyond in their workmanship. And have been here for over 40 years.. they do work on foreign cars, Benz,. All makes, models, engine work ,to name a few. Very Honest people I might add..no B.S also really good prices on Quality work.. glad I taken the chance on this place to find Joe, Jerry, they are there with all questions I had and guarantee the work done. (Who does that???) They do inspections as well Thank you everyone at Angelo's town line motors your the best!!!
Joe,& Jerry and the staff attend to your car professionally, always friendly smiles and very knowledgeable with your car. Your car comes back to you when said. Prices are really on target... these guys know their Cars!! Will be using them all the time....

Not satisfied with a warranty that came with a used engine for my vehicle with 98000 miles. When I took it back with a problem, my warranty was not honored.
Angelo is a great person I dealt with Joe very pleasant and calm I can be hard to deal with I want things done right and they took care my issues so Thank you.
I cannot say enough about this service company! I have been using services for 4 years+ now. In 40 years of owning vehicles, I have never had such great, fair and pleasant service as I get from this company. Charges are always fair and honest! Cannot stress that enough!!! If you need a place to go for automobile repair and service - don't think twice - head to Angelo's. The owner is one of the most delightful people - fair and honest and caring.
I'm a pretty big DIY kind of guy, but when things get a little too much for me, I always turn to Angelo and his son. They've been servicing our multiple cars for over 15 years. Bottom line, you can trust them. They don't look to sell you anything you don't need, but also are very good at seeing and catching things that are about to turn into a big problem. I'm sure Angelo has saved me many thousands of dollars over the years by catching that bad bearing, belt or seal and replacing it before it caused catastrophic damage. They understand that I do still choose to do some of my own work, and are very good at explaining things to me and showing me how things work on my car. From a simple oil change, to an engine rebuild, take it to Angelo and rest easy.
This is a great service center for all ones vehicles. They are very professional and will tell you what is needed before the work is done. They are very courteous and do not mislead in their diagnosis of ones vehicle.
Angelo's is a great honest family business!
He helped me a few months ago with a tire and I had such a good experience I returned when my car started making a terrible noise.

Sold car to me with a broken alternator, drove car home to find it wouldn't restart. On top of that, the alarm system in car would never shut off, causing a no start. They even lied about the car not leaking fluids, which it did when put on a lift. These are greedy, lieing SOB's who have no problem scamming you out of hard earned money all while smiling to your face.
i have been using angelos for over 30 yrs and the service is excellent. i recommend them to friends and family. i started going there for my car needs when i lived in pennsauken and when i moved to to burlington county i still use them for car service. good family , good technicians and above all honest people .
Having driven automobiles for 40+ years I have had my share of being ripped-off by numerous car repair shops. Angelo's Townline has NEVER been that kind of auto service. They are completely honest and trustworthy and you never feel as though you've been taken advantage of by them. I would recommend Angelo's Townline to anyone needing auto services. You won't be disappointed.

I will never go to that auto shop ever again and highly recommend that no one go there. It's a very dishonest place to go. They sold a car in that lot with a messed up transmission and steering Rack. How can you work there as a mechanic and sell a car that is not working properly and not reveal the problems of the car and let the consumer decide if they want to buy the car or not. Your mechanics there are dishonest and can't be trusted with any car. If they lie about that imagine what other things they will lie about just to get your money.
My car started making a loud grinding noise and in 6 blocks it came to the point where my wheels locked up and it stopped moving forward. I thought it was my transmission, which would have been a $2500 fix.
Being that I am NOT from this area, I had it towed to the place that AAA suggested... And I couldn't be more pleased with the honesty and integrity of the service done to my car.
When I got the call from the owner, he seemed excited to tell me that my bill was only $150. They even rechecked some work that I had previously done myself (which I thought had caused the issue). This is by far the best experience I have ever had with any mechanic, and he is earned my business anytime I need service.
On the ride home I found that he had recharged my AC, which had previously been blowing warm air during the heat wave when my car broke down.
I would highly recommend giving him a try.
