I love this yard and every single employee there! I have to point out one in particular today…Mr. Burly just impressed me so much today! He’s always a gentleman and goes out of his way to help me and other patrons on a regular basis! I understand you can’t please everyone but he does except for this irrational customer That I seen today for the first and hopefully the last time! I’m not even sure what the man’s issue was but he was being a jerk to everyone and Burly was trying to be polite and stayed respectful and this guy was just impossible! Burly exuded such patience and professionalism through this I just felt it should be acknowledged!
I’ve been to many scrap yards in the last few years as I started making a living or supplementing my income at times in this industry. The only Yard that I’ve ever felt that I was actually being taught something and being treated fairly! Such excellent customer service and super friendly Employees at Emr in Camden! There is a group of guys and a girl working at this yard throughout the week that just brighten up my entire day and that’s not easy to do because things aren’t easy out there making a living and they just do their jobs with a smile they get along with each other. they are so knowledgeable and taught me so much in such a short time that I feel confident when I absolutely have to and only when I have to go to another yard that I know what I’m doing a little bit because of them! Specifically they have managers that work together and sometimes alternating Felix and Marlon and their team just deserve more than five stars!

Best scrap yard around,prices are good ,ground crew is excellent ,Chris are very hard workers and helpful always there to help me,taught me a lot as well.Camden emr is definitely better then Sargeant scrap
I’ve been remodeling my house and had a pile of copper pipes and other metal I’d been collecting over the past year. I finally made my first ever trip to this scrap yard and everyone was helpful and friendly. In particular, Maurice took the time to explain how the system worked and how to separate different metals. Didn’t take very long, and I walked away with more money than I thought I would. I’m sure I’ll be back.
Matt n Chris were so helpful and professional when I went to EMR. The other local scrap yards cannot even compete with EMR scrap yard. I would not go to any other yard besides this one. The guys here are so knowledgeable. Always a pleasant experience.
Prices are really good, the guys in the yard are helpful and as courteous as can be, considering the rotten weather they're often stuck outside in. Efficient operation.

The guys at EMR are like family! And quite honestly, that doesn't always mean we will get along or agree...At the end of the day, they run a tight, but fair ship, so to all my fellow Scrap Frat Bros who ever blasted this establishment with a bad review, let's put our "Big Boy" pants back on and get this money! One Love to the EMR soldiers!
Matt Mike Lorenzo and Felix are well educated employees. Very well mannered and intentive individuals. Always there when you need them. Enjoy seeing them when we’re there.

I go to this place regularly and I find that one of the workers is always energetic and informative and gives me conversation and it's just feels like I'm important and not just someone dropping off metal. I don't go to other strap yards cause I get a more personal interaction and Chris enhances that for me. I appreciate when a business cares about the people that keep them in business.
Excellent customer service and excellent prices on all scrap metal I recommend them to all who are interested in getting the most money for their scrap metal!!!
I come here with my husband frequently they always give us a fair price, and always professional and respectful ! Unfortunate that they don’t accept tips but overall great spot to scrap.
Never had any issues with this yard any issues that ever made me feel any type of concern have been delt with in a timely manner I've even had an experience with not receiving my payment because I thought the machine wasn't working correctly and it was in fact running slower than expected but I didn't realize my payment was disbursed and another person actually took my payment after video review by management they showed me the payment paid and it also showed I didn't receive it both party's were at fault but as to show good faith to a repeat customer they reissued the payment to me even know if was paid to another individual the payment was for$ 280.00 and just before Thanksgiving and that helped me and my family out especially when the holiday was the following day. Can't say that I would ever be disappointed the staff knows there shit and don't talk down to people which shows a lot about a person even more so being located in Camden which already gives people a reason to feel some way about that my opinion and the proof is in the pudding I don't go to any other yard ever . If I was starving and had a truck full of copper I’d rather just throw it in the trash instead of go here. Junkies everywhere. They deleted my ticket and told me to come back another day. I came back the next day and they told me have to wait another day. The manager was chill tho and I got my money but this place sucks. Allied recycling on 206 is way better. This place is full of crackheads trying to work their way towards another hit. If you do go watch you don’t get stuck by a needle
This business has treated me right since I started visiting here for scrap! The Puerto Rican man at the booth is always very easy to work with and greets everyone with professionalism. I return here for a reason!
It’s sad corporate had to do this. These guys work way to hard to not deserve a tip. My business brings 10-15k a week here a week and we will now be taking our business else where.
I travel to get there for a reason!? Bcuz it's worth the time/travel in my opinion. I come out of south jrzy)AC or Newark area). Also they are open all week including Saturday and Sunday. Don't think so give em a call hear from them
My husband and I went here on Saturday when we pulled up on the scale the lady said that we had to leave because it will take more than 10 minutes. When I ask to speak to a supervisor, which I did. The supervisor said that I can go on the scale and when I did the lady walk away because she knew that she was wrong for what she did, plus she was rude àbout the whole thing. We did unload the truck in 8 minute. EMR lost a daily customer because we will not go back there again.
Very bad very rude tried too ask for prices and the female at the first scale said on the phone that I'm holding. Her up from scaling people because I asked her to tell me one. Price on alluminum I think she was just layzy and didn't know how too do her job no point in asking them for something. They don't know what they are doing very poor help.
Definitely had a good experience.. I was a little concerned since it was my first time there but the employee Nigel really helped us through every step. He was very pleasant and professional. I would recommend this business to all. And I'd like to thank Nigel for his help today..

All employees that i have delt with are pleasant and for the most part know what they are talking about.
No signs giving any direction and when u ask there rude, scale guy tells you one thing forklift driver gets mad tells you something different. There mad at each other and truck drivers pay the price. Way to do business.
