I brought my vw to in town auto because I've had issues in the past with mechanics not fixing my car properly. I have to say that the techs here are incredibly knowledgeable and really know what they're doing. I wasn't able to pick my car up before they closed on a Friday but after reaching out, the owner actually met me on a Sunday afternoon while they were closed so I could pick it up. They had my car for a week and quite a bit of work was needed which ended up costing a little more than I was expecting. Before any work was done, Andrew walked me through the extensive diagnosis that was performed, explaining things in a way that was understandable. When I go to pick up my car and Mike (I think that was his name, I'm sorry if I'm wrong) pulled my car out for me, he gets out and says, 'so, we have a little surprise for you. We wanted to show that we appreciate your business' when I look inside my car, my jaw dropped. The entire inside of my car was detailed and looked brand new. Huge shout out to Kevin, the tech who worked on my car and whoever it was that did the detail work. This is the second time I've brought my car here to have work done and I've been thoroughly impressed by their mechanical know how, but also their customer service. 5 stars all around. Highly recommended

Ok, let me put it this way. I normally don’t trust and shops around to touch my car. I’m the only person who puts hands on it. Unfortunately I had a situation because of the weather “snow” so I have no chance to check it out. A friend of mine recommended me this place, so I gave it a shot. I would give them 10stars if possible. Andrew took care of me also really responsive too! Breana also a great person, give them a chance you won’t regret it.

Tired of dealership games, I gave In-Town Auto a try and couldn’t be happier. Great communication, clear explanations, and a team that truly takes care of customers. If you don’t want to get your money taken go the other direction There is to much to write here but basically they took 2200 for a alternator that they had to replace 3 times that was faulty to begin with according to when I took it to a dealership then the 4 th time they said it was a sensor and charged another 550 then they let me use a loaner car then charged me for that and said I went through a toll which I got no proof for and did not do so basically just seems like these people are just taking peoples hard earned money and since when is a alternator at a dealership cheaper it cost me 1600 for the dealership to replace and it has been running great since. We called them to see if we can get some of our money back and are not willing to work with us at all not even with the loaner car so here we are everyone beware !!!

Avoid this place! Total scam and disrespectful service. I came in with a 2015 Passat specifically for engine and turbo diagnostics (oil consumption and noise issues). I even provided a written list of technical checks I needed (Timing Chain, PCV, etc.). The Result: They completely ignored my request and instead did a basic visual inspection of the suspension. For this "walk-around," they charged me $238.84! They then handed me a ridiculous estimate for $7,934.46 for suspension work—more than the car is even worth. Communication was terrible: I told them I had a flight to catch and asked for a call when finished. No one called. I had to show up myself to find my car just sitting there. It feels like they saw a customer with a language barrier and decided to take advantage by charging for services not rendered and pushing an $8k "repair" list. I am demanding a full refund. This is predatory behavior. Stay away! UPDATED RESPONSE TO OWNER: Your reply is misleading. You claim I authorized $359 for engine diagnostics, but you failed to provide the results for the SPECIFIC items I requested in writing: the Timing Chain stretch (Phase Adaptation degrees) and Turbocharger health data. > Simply "checking for codes" and finding a "leak" does not take 2 hours and does not address the engine detonation I reported. You spent that time building a $7,900 estimate for suspension parts I never asked you to check. You did NOT call me when the car was ready as requested, showing total disregard for my schedule and my flight. Charging $238.84 for a "visual inspection" while ignoring a customer's specific technical instructions is predatory. If you were truly transparent, you would refund the fee for the work you failed to perform.

The entire process from beginning to end was seamless… They were very professional and kept me informed throughout. Breana and Andrew were great. I would definitely recommend this facility!

When the engine light showed up in my formerly trusty 2008 Honda Accord back in June I was already in need of a new home base for routine auto care. Your exceedingly thorough inspection revealed that it needed upwards of $9000 in repairs. (That part was not the good news! ) Although I had figured I’d be keeping that car forever it was clear that it was time to replace it. I shopped around a bit that weekend and then got word from you about a possibility to consider: A 2010 Honda Accord, deluxe edition, in pristine condition with half the mileage of my 2008! It had been owned by the now deceased father of one of your customers and you had been alerted about its availability. I took a test drive and loved it. It’s even the same charcoal gray color as my 2008. Plus it has blue tooth capability, leather seats that heat, a sunroof, a key fob that works on everything, it’s dent free and it cost less than the repairs would have. Thank you, thank you for being outstanding matchmakers! I can't let Thanksgiving Week go by without expressing again what joy I found in that transaction! Great family run business. Professional, honest and great service. Always taken care of at a fair price. Also they offer ride service back to your home which is great if busy family life. Going there for years and will continue.

I’ve been taking my cars here for years. Everyone in the office is so helpful. They truly go above and beyond to address any issues with your car. I went through a saga with a dealership for a recall issue and they took so much time to help me navigate that, even though they wouldn’t be making the repairs themselves. I think that speaks volumes of their character and honesty.

This was my first time here. Excellent phone skills, outstanding customer service and very thorough with both inspection and repair of our vehicle. The prices are more than reasonable. Must be because it’s a family business. 😃 We will definitely be back for our service and repair needs.

This is the first review I’ve written about an auto repair shop. However, it’s worth it. The service was absolutely superb. Everyone was accommodating and very nice and they got the job done. And… I received round-trip shuttle service, which I desperately need. I will be back anytime my car needs repair.

New customer I had a starter installed on 2005 Nissan Titan a more complicated repair. Great service and the shop kept me informed on repairs. I will be a returning customer.

While servicing my car they noticed a rubbing noise while operating my front window. I told them not to worry about it, but I noticed it was gone when I got back the car. No charge and no noise. A place that cares about its customers. A great concept you don’t find at most places

Great place to go if you want to be charged even more than the VW, Audi, BMW or Porsche Dealership Shops with the only guarantee that you'll be coming back for more wealth extraction on a regularly scheduled basis until they tell you that it's time to buy a new car because they unabashedly made a mistake. I'll post more once my lawsuit is completed.

Very professional and friendly from the front desk to the technicians. I’ve been going to the dealer for service on my older AUDI, but now I’ll go here. 4/25/24- second service completed today. My regular annual service. My check engine light kept coming on intermittently and was traced to a fuel quality sensor. Getting the part next week and will install then. Great service all around and they even fixed my GPS which has been out for two years! I didn’t ask for that but a pleasant surprise. Also, they did a car detail cleaning and it came out great. Check the pics. 😊 PS: thanks to Breana for helping me with a travel problem! 👍 9/3/35: had another checkup with my AUDI A4. The car is a 2014 with $59k miles and Intown keeps it working smoothly. Full car check and oil/filter change. All good 👍🏻 and very happy with their friendly service! Back around April..

What a great place to go for help. They were able to help resolve my issue and kept me posted all the way through. Breanna was extremely amazing to work with. She helped me feel comfortable with my repairs. Adam also was awesome very honest and pleasant. I will be taking all my vehicles for services going forward.

We went to ‘In Town Auto’ for the first time today and it was such a pleasant experience from beginning to end. We purchased a car on Carvana and wanted to get it inspected (pre purchase inspection) in the return window. When I called to make the appointment, the man that helped me was very friendly and helpful. I had to reschedule my appointment as the Carvana delivery was delayed and the lady that helped me was very understanding and assured me it would be done quickly and we would be able to leave for our vacation in time. We brought the car in this morning and the drop off was very easy. We heard back just a few hours later that the car was in great shape and ready to be picked up. Everyone there made us feel very comfortable throughout the whole process. My husband said he met 3 generations of the family when he went to pick up our car. We had previously gone to a well known chain but were unhappy with the service we received. We are happy to utilize this local family business that feels safe and trustworthy. Thanks again!

Had an issue with my car’s immobilizer randomly activating, preventing me from starting the car. I chose InTown at the recommendation of a local shop who couldn’t handle my issue. I thought it would be better and more cost-friendly than going to a VW dealer. I wasn’t thrilled with my experience. On the positive side, I was able to get a fast appointment and they performed a thorough inspection. Like other reviewers mentioned, that inspection discovered a host of additional problems that would have doubled the already insane repair cost for the issue I brought it in for. I spoke to Mike, who seemed knowledgeable and patient as he talked with me through the pros and cons of repairing the car vs selling or junking it, as well as suggestions on how to prioritize fixes. However, there were a number of secondary issues I had asked be checked that were not looked at. While weighing my options, I called back to chat with Mike again and he was unavailable at the time and did not call me back as requested. After two days of waiting, I decided to pick the car up without authorizing the repairs. They charged me less than the estimate they had given just for the time diagnosing my issue because the time spent on my car was less than expected. So I credit the honesty in that regard. But overall, I brought it in thinking there was a minor programming issue between my key and the immobilizer system and spent $250 to be told I need $5000 plus in repairs, so I can’t call it a great experience.

My oil change with InTown was truly the best from start to finish. When dropping off my car they provided a shuttle ride back home. Then they kept me informed throughout the whole process via text message. They did a free inspection with NO PRESSURE on getting anything repaired which I really appreciated. The best part though, was their customer service. When picking up my car, I brought my 3 year old son and immediately upon walking in the woman came up to my son and asked what his favorite color was. She took out a box of hot wheel cars and let him pick a blue one and even gave him one for his little sister! I got in my car to find a thank you note with a little mint attached. I never write reviews, but this place was amazing and so great at what they do! I will be using them for all of my oil changes in the future!

I am so impressed with this car dealership and so happy I found it. They make you feel like one of the family. I felt as though my car was really being well taken care of. Like I said to my Daughter, "it's the little things that make the difference." They take care of the detail. I am an elderly senior with her first new car in 10 years. It's important to me that my car doesn't breakdown on the road and always in tip top shape. Thank you In Town Auto Care!
