I can’t say enough about my incredible experience at American Reclaimed in Upper Saddle River! From the moment I stepped into their showroom on 17, I was captivated by the stunning array of reclaimed wood treasures—live-edge slabs with rich, weathered grain, hand-hewn beams. I was on a mission to find a statement piece for my living room, and American Reclaimed delivered beyond my wildest dreams. Sal, one of the team members, was an absolute rockstar. His knowledge of their sustainably sourced materials was unmatched, and he took the time to guide me through every option, sharing the backstory of each piece—like the barnwood that came from a 19th-century New York farm. His advice was spot-on, helping me pick a jaw-dropping live-edge walnut table that’s now the heart of my home. Sal’s patience and passion for craftsmanship turned what could’ve been overwhelming into a fun, creative process. He even coordinated with their Goshen woodshop to ensure every detail was perfect.

I would just like to say that we dropped by the USR showroom yesterday to pick up a piece of oak flooring. What we got in addition is an education in floor staining. After that came the wait for my custom shelf, which was exactly as long as I expected to wait. Finally, the product itself is absolutely stunning. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. American Reclaimed created an absolutely beautiful custom table for our family. It far exceeded our expectations. They were also very easy to work with, and gave us updates at every step. The owner even came to our house himself to fix a mark on the table. Highly recommend this company.

We ordered 2 mantels for our fireplaces and they look great. Toni helped us size and locate the units perfectly! Interesting process of picking out the beam in the outdoor yard, selecting the exposed face(with all its ax marks, nail & bolt holes), checking for final color and then placement! Great company. We asked for a mantle for our fireplace. They were very receptive to all our questions and the adjustments we wanted to make as well. They were pretty close to the original time frame they gave us, which is fine since we were not in a rush. Would highly recommend them

Amazing! I think that’s the perfect place to start. They are simply amazing. We have been lucky enough to have a custom made bed by them (picture attached) and bench! Between listening to your input, coming into your home to understand where things will go, and making suggestions the feedback and customer service is unmatched. Excited to have these pieces and am looking forward to adding more.

It took longer than anticipated, but American Reclaimed did a really nice job on our live edge Acacia bar top. It looks awesome. The install went smoothly and they made us two floating shelves at no charge to make up for the delay. It was worth the wait. We are really happy with how it came out and friends frequently compliment us on how cool it looks! So glad we got rid of our laminate bar top and decided not to get granite or marble. The live edge wood is really smooth, so unique and the focal point of our family room (finished basement with fireplace). We frequently belly up to the bar with friends and family. Love it!

Great experience with American Reclaimed! We got beautiful Hemlock from old barn. Sal helped us find the perfect stain to match our wooded interior. Really happy with final product.

America Reclaimed is by far one of my favorite places to purchase furniture from. This place is full of breathtaking pieces that you will not be able to find anywhere else. I have purchased 3 small side tables and 1 customized table for my kitchen. Working with Sal was a pleasure and made my experience so enjoyable! I highly recommend stopping in just to look around, cannot wait to order more!!

We went to several "high-end" furniture stores and saw pieces that are mass produced and, while nice, had little character. Then we went to American Reclaimed and had a discussion about our room and what we were looking for in a coffee and end table. We saw tons of unique, beautiful options. We were able to customize everything from size, to color of legs on the table to the stain and, most amazingly, the color of the resin which we had match our couch. Our contact at the store, Sal, was incredibly knowledgeable. Marek, the person who built our table, was great. We could not be happier with the results. This place is amazing!

BEAUTIFUL WORK.!!! Got an oak CUSTOM COUNTERTOP which is meant to be used as a homework station. LOVE IT. So beautiful, cannot get over it..!! Wait was well worth the product. Also, the installers took the time to notch out the cabinets to have the wood fit perfectly and so the cabinet doors can open freely without hitting the counter. WILL USE AGAIN FOR FUTURE PROJECTS..!!

I had a great experience from start to finish. I waited a long time to decide on the right table. I looked for months at numerous stores and catalogs. Then I visited American Reclaimed. I was amazed at the beautiful pieces of work in the showroom. A few weeks after I place the order for the table, I decided to purchase chairs and I was able to customize them to work with the table. Everyone was helpful and responsive. The workmanship is beyond superb. The delivery was on time. I feel like I have a piece of art in my dining room. It is stunning! Now I will be going back for my next piece. Highly recommend these amazing craftsman!
