Update To the other reviewer Christine, i am not in any way a former employee of the borough of Tenafly. Garbage collection was spotty and missed sometimes for up to a week this winter. Leaf removal last autumn took almost 2 weeks one time on my street. Next time stick to your own opinion and stop trying to invalidate my experience, it's frankly childish.

A very big recycle center for the residents only. Residents may dispose of designated recyclable materials, such as newspapers and magazines, aluminum, glass bottles and containers, plastics (#1-5) and bulky rigid plastics (separate container), cardboard, household trash, household furniture and appliances, mattresses, computers and electronics, pagers and two-way radios, cell phones and accessories, used clothing, tires, tree trimmings, grass clippings and yard waste. Household hazardous waste and construction and demolition debris (lumber, decking, fencing, roofing, etc.) are not accepted at the Recycling Center.
