My husband and I both go here and have had a great experience. Running a window tinting business, we’re constantly bending and working in tight positions, so taking care of our bodies is important. He takes the time to listen and focus on what’s actually going on instead of rushing through appointments. We’ve both noticed less discomfort and better movement since starting care. Highly recommend.

I came to Dr. John with lower back pain because of my degenerative disc disease, and now I am no longer in pain. He is a very caring and compassionate doctor, and I would whole heartedly recommend him for anyone dealing with pain. He takes the time to explain things thoroughly and sets up a plan of action. Found Wellness for Life from Google which had great reviews and took a chance. One year later I am glad I found Dr John. Dr. John cares about his patients and is extremely professional. Dr. John takes x-rays upon the initial visit to identify things that need to be addressed. He takes his time to explain things and show how improvements could be made. Dr John is extremely flexible with scheduling and cares about his patients and what he does. He is extremely personable and makes every visit enjoyable. One month into treatment with Dr. John and he has found a piece that I have been missing to my migraine treatment pie.

I am a migraineur for 15+ years and have tried many preventative and abortive medicines to manage migraine onset/treatment.

Dr. John showed me x-rays of my neck and we had an extensive conversation about posture and proper neck curvature. Since the weekly adjustments (which are not just run of the mill chiropractic adjustments) and diligently doing my daily neck exercises I feel like I am doing better! He takes his time and answers all your questions in a patient and understanding manner.

By all accounts I should have had a terrible migraine week due to weather and other personal factors, but I only had a shadow of one that dissipated on its own since starting treatment.

I found Dr. John through a Google search of chiropractors near me. After looking at his rave reviews, I decided to have a consultation for some minor back pain that I was feeling. He took my xrays which showed what years of bad posture, stress and other factors had caused. He thoroughly explained the importance of my spine and how the spine impacts my health and how I am feeling. He is extremely friendly and engaging, a wealth of knowledge and is transparent, addressing any concerns and questions that I had about my condition. After starting treatment, I have already started to feel a difference in the pain I was feeling and my overall health. I've also become more conscious and am now knowledgeable on how to improve my posture on a daily basis. For years we were trying to get my daughter relief from chronic headaches and backaches. We have seen neurologists, doctors, tried physical therapy and more. I can't say enough good things about Dr John McHugh. I've known him since I was a teenager when he began adjusting my mother. My mom suffered horrible allergies (including allergies to allergy meds) but when she saw him all spring season, it was the first time she felt good. Dr. John McHugh is the most caring chiropractor I have ever been to! I am a nurse with functional scoliosis and I have already noticed a difference in my back. My back pain is no longer a problem after working 12 hour shifts, John addresses every problem with my back, not only by readjusting but also by realigning. I did not think my spine had so many issues since I am only 24 years old, but this problem is very transparent in many people, including people my age. I highly recommend him!
