125$ for an oil change on a Nissan versa it’s ridiculous, I made appointment for 5pm , didn’t get my car till 6:30 and I had to ask or else I would’ve kept waiting . Bad customer service .

Firestone has been my go-to place for all my vehicle needs for almost three years now. From complete vehicle inspections and oil changes to brake service and excellent quality tires, my car is always in top condition for my work as an UBER/Rideshare Driver. Pedro and the staff always make the right recommendations and try to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. Thank you so much, Firestone!

Do not recommend! I went there due to them being open on Sundays, worst mistake! they did not want to work with my insurance company, decided to push more work on to my car then what my representative stated, charged me extra, and now my car is having a whole different set of issues. If you need an auto shop on a Sunday and this is your only option I recommend waiting till Monday. better option are out there.

I had an issue and Firestone was the closest garage. They were super helpful and kind. They took my car in immediately and finished all the work (there turned out to be a lot) by the end of the day. It would’ve been 5 stars but my tire pressure is off and they didn’t address that. I thought they would so I didn’t say anything. Oh well. I would definitely go back but hope I don’t have to!

Would give this place 0 stars if I could. The website said they had 59 tires of the particular tire I needed. When I, not them, called to see if they could take my car earlier than my appointment. I was told that A the don’t have any of the 59 tires the website said they have then B the guy said he was going to call me. Keep In mind my appointment was an hour and a half away. When were you going to call? When I had my car on a tow truck? Clown behavior.

In June 2024, I paid $2,200 for a full maintenance package on my mother’s 2008 Toyota Corolla at 73,553 miles only one owner which is my mother. My mother is an older woman, and she trusts that shops will be honest. Yet one year later, at 74,490 miles—not even 1,000 miles of driving—they’re suddenly claiming a torn rubber for right and left front struts, leaking front CV boots, and steering leakage costing another $2,100.
My mother barely drives this Corolla, and it has always been in excellent condition, so these sudden “issues” are extremely suspicious. It raises serious doubts about whether the original maintenance was ever done—or if they’re simply taking advantage of customers, especially older women, by pushing unnecessary repairs. The courtesy check details is also stating that the air filter cabin filter, the wiper blade, the brake fluid fluids, Fuel system heating and cooling all needs to be serviced when I just took the car in 1200 miles ago to have all of that done. None of this makes sense. Speaking with the store manager doesn’t help either because he is completely dismissive.
I have escalated this to Firestone consumer affairs and again I strongly warn others: take your car here at your own risk.Dec 09, 2025 -

Pedro is The Best!!! I have serviced my vehicle at the Fairview location for 4 years now. I do a lot of long distance driving and Pedro and the team never try to up sale me on services I don’t need immediately but always make sure I’m aware of upcoming recommendations I will need in the near future. He is positive and kind and multi task very well without disrespecting those he is attending to. I truly recommend this location if you live near the North Bergen area.

Road Hazard Protection charge was added to my bill without my consent. I specifically told Nick at the counter to remove it before I paid, but he did not. I later saw the final invoice and confirmed the charge was still there. I am disputing this sneaky charge with my credit card company

They either sabotaged my car or they are incompetent. I went in for a simple oil change and left with a major oil leak with a damaged oil valve that has left my engine covered in oil. My car is pretty new and has always been in great condition. My service advisor “BARKEV” had a lot of attitude when I declined all the extra services they tried to sneak into my initial invoice. I’m not sure if the oil leak was retaliatory. The car was serviced by “DANIEL” according to my invoice. Extremely frustrating. Will never return.

I had an amazing experience with Pedro. I came in on one of those days—nothing was going right, and I could barely hold back tears. I had called ahead and scheduled an appointment. When I arrived, Pedro inspected my car and let me know that while they didn’t have my exact tire in stock, they had a comparable option available.
I did have to wait a bit for the installation, but honestly, that’s to be expected. Some of these negative reviews complaining about the wait come off as so entitled.

I recently had brand-new tires installed by my trusted mechanic, and my brakes were just inspected and confirmed to be in good condition. The only reason I came to Firestone was for a service my mechanic doesn’t offer—and it was only supposed to be a consultation.
They performed a courtesy check and claimed I needed a brake fluid exchange. I agreed, but after the service, I noticed a leak that wasn’t there before. To make things worse, I found a nail in one of my new tires just days after getting them installed—raising serious concerns about whether they keep their workspace clean or if this was done intentionally.
On top of that, their labor fees are outrageously high—they charge far more than any reputable mechanic in New Jersey.
This was hands-down the worst decision I’ve made for my car, and I will never return.Jul 17, 2025 -
I went in because of a grinding sound on my car. I was met by a kind, helpful person named, Julio. I was told exactly what I needed and he was accommodating to my concerns. After further inspection by their excellent team of mechanics they uncovered various repairs that needed to be met. I spoke with Emilio their manager. He was very knowledgeable and spoke earnestly with me. I chose the most important urgent repairs (all 4 tires, brake pads, rotors, alignment). The cost was very fair. The work was excellent. It was done in a 1 days time. My car runs very well. I came back from repeat business an oil change. This place is rocking!

Excellent management and reasonable prices - fast repairs- on-site parking - I have been a steady customer at Firestone for over 20 years - for repairs, they are very satisfactory and the prices are better than the car manufacturer dealer's prices - Emilio and Pedro are customer friendly and gives recommendations before performing services - my cars need to be reliable and preventive maintenance are important - in fact our family's four cars are serviced here.

Bad business guys . The manager Emillio is a disgrace . If you have a nice car don’t bring it here . They do Not know how to handle foreign cars . I brought in my Mercedes that has Amg rims and they completely scratched them . When I tried to explain to them and show them videos I had the manager didn’t want to hear it . Practically called me a liar telling me his people wouldn’t do that . I had videos and pictures for proof but he denied to even look at them . When I picked up the car and told them about it they told me they would tell the owner and we would come to an agreement but practically just lied so I could drive the car out of there lot and it wouldn’t be their issue anymore . Guys save your money and go somewhere else that deals with nice cars . Even the dealer is better there gonna charge you the same amount . I will post pictures for everyone to see and if corporate or the owner sees this. I can provide videos and proof that your people are very incompetent and your customer service is even worse . Manager kept grabbing the phone so I would just leave and stop bothering him . Wow if I could give it no stars I would
