Sebastian from Nick's Towing Service came first thing this morning as he said he would & checked and towed my friend's vehicle!!! He tried to start it and gave me to estimates to give my friend before he skillfully and professionally moved the car onto his towing truck. Sebastian was AWESOME - friendly, concerned and VERY knowledgeable !!! I highly recommend Nick's Towing Service !!! Sebastian's THE BEST !!!
This company is so awful! First off they have a racket with the police forces to where the cops call them to impound your car for the littlest thing and they show up in less than 5 minutes. Obviously a set up sting. They had my car for one night and charged me over $300 to tow it 1/4 mile and keep it for less than 24 hours. Then when I got it back my key fob was broken and my rear drivers side door had two very large scratches on it. Call anybody else!
A little before 7:00 p.m. on a Friday night I called Nick because my husband was stopped at a rest area on i-95 with a flat tire on a trailer. Nick answered the phone on the first ring, immediately told me what he needed to make the repair, and was on the road shortly to rescue my husband. Husband. I can't say enough positive things about his service, his attitude, and his helpfulness. Thank you so much Nick. You saved the day today.
Love how they take advantage of people in the local community. My car was parked, a thin amount of snow on the ground and not currently snowing at that time. Goes and tows my car and charges me $300. And then triggers a $200 ticket from police department. So $500 for having my car parked with an inch of snow on the ground. How does that make sense? Just takes advantage of the local community. Also the girl in the back needs an attitude adjustment and some foundation for those cheeks.
Few things are more intimidating for an out of towner then to have a car issue while trying to navigate New York City. My experience was nothing less than heart pounding. Half way through the Lincoln Tunnel, I realized my clutch had given way and I was unable to change gears. Yes I’m old school and still love my manual transmission. I prayed the car in front of me keep moving because the absolute last place I wanted to stop was at the bottom of the Hudson in the tunnel. Fortunately the car gods let me limp my way through. I managed to find a safe space and this very gracious gentleman at the greyhound bus depot helped me push the car to the sidewalk. I called for road side assistance and waited. I figured I was going to be there for hours!! A Sunday night in NYC on Palm Sunday? Yeah no chance in the world in my mind it was going to be a quick turn around.
That was not the case. Within the hour I got a message saying Nicks was on the way… instant relief! The dispatcher called to make sure I was safe and assured me that a truck would be there shortly. Sure enough, Carlos showed up shortly there after. What a fantastic gentleman! He instantly knew what to do and how to handle the situation. Between the two of us we got the car loaded and ready to go. However before he left he noted that the “garage” the nationwide app had given me as an option to send the car for repairs… was nothing but a garage to store a vehicle!! He did some quick checking and found a dealership with the gates open close by and triple checked that I had all I needed from him and the car. He then assured me he’d leave a note for the dealership and made sure I had all of the contact info for him and the dealership. Then, he was off.

Our truck died and we had triple A. After waiting 1 hour, we called the police to help. They recommended a few but Nicks Towing came through for us. Friendly and not your typical tow truck people. 4 hours later, triple A informed us that their technician was on the way. 4 hours for triple a. No good.
I was debating writing an honest review about my experience, but after seeing how awful the owner responds to one star reviews, I feel I need to save other people from the stress of this company.
I went through my insurance company to find a towing service after a tire popped on 287. They put in a service request specifically for a tire change, my insurance companies required the car to be towed off the highway for the tire change due to safety concerns. The tow truck driver towed us to the closed gas station, and left us there telling us the service request was only for a tow and we could change the tire ourselves. Why would I call if I knew how to change a tire, and why would you lie when I have the service request on my phone in front of me? Genuinely, what's the point?
I called my insurance company to let them know and ask what we can do, they put in another request. The same man came to change our tire. It took him two minutes AND he expected a tip after treating us so poorly.
Nick, I suggest finding support to help you communicate in a healthy way to valid criticism your replies here are concerning, I can only imagine how you speak to your employees.
Nicks towing was dispatched to help me with my Tesla which had a dead battery. The driver arrived promptly. Before proceeding with the tow, Will, the driver asked if I wanted him to attempt to jump start the battery. He then proceeded to show me step by step how to perform this procedure on my car. He quickly completed the jump start and I was able to start charging the car. Will, was personable, knowledgeable and skilled in performing his duties. I would highly recommend Will and Nicks Towing to anyone needing roadside services.
Was very pleased with my service, nicks towing came to the rescue! There eta was on time and the driver Hector was very polite courteous and very professional not to mention he took really great care of my vehicle! Thanks nicks towing! My car broke down on the turnpike and I was stuck and stressed out but Hector came to the rescue! He arrived quickly, was super professional, and made a stressful situation feel a lot more manageable. He handled my car with care, explained everything clearly, and even made sure I got to a safe location. Can’t thank him enough! Highly recommend Hector if you ever need a reliable tow!
Honestly, this company is earning a 5 star just because of their driver. Carlos L was fantastic from the moment he called me to tell me he was on the way. He had great customer service, very professional and friendly. Always made sure I was safe and comfortable. Great hire Nick’s Towing.
Had to get my car towed out of my garage to the dealer. They dispatched Nick’s Towing. The driver Malik arrived fast with the proper equipment. He explained thoroughly what he was going to do. He was kind and professional. Good experience.
I am so grateful for Nick and for everyone’s kindness and help last night! My car broke down in the middle of the night on a ramp just off the Turnpike I was alone and quite shaken Nick could not have been nicer as he attempted to troubleshoot the issue with the car and ultimately help me figure out where they could bring the car to get repaired. I am not from the area and he kept the car overnight for no charge while I did some research and he helped me to get it where it needed to be the next morning.
And perhaps I should mention that my car was fully packed as I was on my way home from my son’s graduation and had his entire apartment in my car. The staff at his office helped me unpack my car and pack it into a XXL Uber (Who knew they Even had those)!

My Polestar3 had to be towed from the garage in my home. Malik was terrific! He was friendly, polite, and very knowledgeable about electric cars! The tow truck with the dolly was awesome! I had no idea watching my car get towed on a dolly could be so entertaining!!

Freaking super service! I’ve never been to Jersey, never needed a loaner tire for a Tesla, but with click of a few buttons on the phone Nick’s Towing was on the way. They coordinated with the turnpike (who knew), with Tesla (who knew), called ahead (thanks Melody), and provided efficient and professional service (thanks Mark). Jersey gave me a bolt in the tire and some great conversation with Mark will getting my vehicle back in the road. Nicks will be my “go-to” when vehicularly disabled in the future. LOL

Malik, very professional, took apart my plastics to jump start my vehicle, got it loaded up on the flatbed with zero issues delivered it to my mechanic. Definitely helped me and did more then was expected !!! Definitely will request his services if and when I need it again thank you guys!

My son a late night issue with his vehicle & The Hartford assigned Nick's towing for the task. Upon calling them for confirmation, I was informed that it was a winch out and the reality is that we needed a tow. While on the phone with Florence she quickly took responsibility for making the proper calls to rectify the mistake made by The Hartford and was able to change the order. She was professional, knowledgeable and very pleasant. They dispatched Randy to the tow my vehicle and also a complete professional that knew what he was doing. I also have to commend Nick's Towing for maintaining a clean cab for customers to sit in while their vehicle is in tow. I highly recommend them and will absolutely be a repeat customer when needed. Jeff from Nicks Towing Service was a GOD SEND! What a guy!!! Seriously after being stood up from tow companies for 14 hours straight I was extremely frustrated but “Nicks Towing Service “ took on my request and came at the time they said they would . Jeff was the driver and man was he efficient , and careful , you could tell he took pride in what he did. My car wouldn’t start, my break pad has been locked for the past 24 hours , he knew exactly what to do , showed no concern, refused any help and was just a stand up professional! I highly recommend this company and if you’re lucky you’ll get a driver like Jeff ! … well worth the frustrating day to end up with these guys ! Thank you
