Service here sucks. Called on a Tuesday, needed my car to be towed to them for diagnosis and repair, and was told to bring it on over. I informed them that the battery was not secured, and got it towed there by a third party, and recieved a call back from Mainland on Friday, informing me that the starter needed to be replaced. I was told this would be around $700. My car is old with high milage, so I asked for them to thoroughly inspect the rest of the car to make sure it had no other issues, before I spent that kind of money. Mike told me that he could "drive it around a little" after he replaced the starter. The next Tuesday, the car was ready. I picked it up and ended up paying them $840. When I got home, i popped the hood and saw that my battery was still not secured. Not only that, but the negative battery terminal was so far corroded, It was at risk of disconnecting. This told me that they didnt do any kind of inspection/listen to my concerns. Very dissapointing.

Mike is amazing! I had my son’s car towed here and didnt realize they were closed for the week for vacation! I sent en email to the business and within minutes, I received a response. Mike was so kind, he took time out of his own personal vacation to meet us at the shop. When we arrived… Mike had already fixed the tire. Now that is stellar customer service!! Thank you, Mike! 😃

We set off for the long drive home from New Jersey to Massachusetts and heard a noise coming from underneath the truck. Not sure what we were dealing with we pulled over to find a broken exhaust pipe. We drove to Mainland after googling the closest garage. They were amazing in every way! We waited in their comfortable waiting room while they assured us they would get us safely on the road soon. They juggled their busy schedule to accommodate us! About an hour and a half later we were back on the road with a new exhaust pipe safely and professionally installed. Cost was very reasonable as well!

Mainland Auto has been my go to place for many years. Mike and George always find time for my emergency’s and I would go nowhere else. I get my oil changed there and buy tires and get brakes as well. I have owned 4 cars that they have serviced. I’m grateful for their honesty and customer service. A great business!

We have just moved to Galloway. on Saturday our Honda pilot was overheating. as everyone does i googled best repair shops by me and Mainland came up drove over to find there not open on the weekend but noticed lights on in the showroom knocked on the door after a minute a guy came out saying where closed I'm just doing paperwork and i explained our situation he said pull around back. he opened the hood and the belt was falling off .he went inside got tools to put it back on and said this is a professional rig to get you safe but it needs to be repaired properly asap he would not take any money from me just saying if it was me id like the same in return one day if he was broken down. We dropped car off Monday am they called with an estimate and repair was done and at fair price i had called around to other shops for reference. There are still good old family businesses out there. They have a new customer i would recommend Mainland Auto to everyone and will !

First visit there for state inspection went well. In and out quickly. Second visit…. Oil change 2010 Honda Accord . Did not need synthetic , just 5W/30 standard. Service done fairly quick . Went to pay , guy said $80 ! I’ve never paid more than about $40-$45 for an oil change. Total hit n miss there…. GET PRICE UP FRONT. PS . Closed on the weekend/ What auto place is closed on a Saturday ? Bizarre.

My family has been using their services for our cars for going on 30 years. I have always felt their prices were fair and their work is well done.

My car broke down, they didn't charge me to carry out the assessment to find out what happened! Great place to take your car! They are very attentive! They contacted me first thing in the morning! I recommend it 100%!!

Awesome shop took my 06 Ford Ranger over there. In pretty rough condition, they completely redid the brakes, new rotors, drums calibers. . Bearing assemblies and a bunch of other miscellaneous things that the truck needed the price was not that bad for the quality of work. That was done, doesn't even feel like the same truck anymore. So happy with these guys? Yes, you were gonna pay a little bit more coming here. But it is well worth it to know that your vehicle. It's being done correctly. Definitely will be bringing my truck back here for anything that it needs. Thank you guys.

Very honest and Great service. Pleasant to deal with. I had a concern about my car, they took the time to check it out, put it up on the lift, he drove it around, then drove it around with me, and finally let me know there was no concern. After all that they refused to take pay for it!

They were horrible have my oil changed two new tires put on And we picked the car up. The oil light came on that I need a new oil change and the tire pressures were low like 21 pounds on a brand new tire.

My engine cover partially came off today as I was visiting my parents from out of town. It was rubbing on the ground as I drove. They were super busy but they told me to come in and they would help me out. I was in and out in a matter of minutes. I highly recommend them. My parents only use them and they are also very happy with them.

Went there for an oil change for my 2012 mazda 3. Was charged $80. Too pricey for me. Had better luck at Pepboys.

This morning while taking daughter to work, car started acting like it never had before, wouldn’t accelerate past 3500 RPM, called them and was advised to bring it right over, brought it in, super nice guy behind the desk, said leave me your keys, give me your number, will get you all squared away. About an hour later I see my car being pulled out front, now I was already for the bad news.. to my surprise it was fixed, minimal cost, and is running amazing, they didn’t try to screw me, I will go here over and over again! A++ service.

What a refreshing place to take my vehicle for repairs and service. I have been a customer for years!!! The team working there is always straight forward and very reasonable with pricing and ALWAYS TREATS my vehicle as if it is their own!!! If you need work or service on your vehicle…..you are definitely missing out not using MainLand!!!!

Had my car towed there to give an estimate on repairs for my check engine light. After a week and two misdiagnoses, They quoted me over $5000 in repairs. I ended up getting my car towed home & they wanted $250 for the diagnosis. If that’s not bad enough, when I received my car back, my entire intake system was left out in the trunk, along with my O2 sensor left detached. Price gouging and horrible service, am never going back for any maintenance.

Got scammed for a couple hundred bucks and a few tires. Had to buy my own air pump after they "fixed" my flat. After buying a few tires, they told me the rim was bad. I bought a new rim, but they wouldn't out the new tire on it. Told me to buy more rim's from "their guy". Had another mechanic put the tire on the rim and haven't had a problem since. I will NEVER use this business again. Frank on Old Port Rd is closer and actually an honest businessman.

My Mom and Dad used Mainland for all their auto repairs, new tires, and general maintenance. They had older cars. My Dad was a handy person. He could fix most anything but when his health started to decline, he relied on the help and honesty of Mainland Auto & Tire. He told me how good everyone treated him and Mom there. He said he was always treated with respect, the crew was good at solving problems and generally got things fixed on the first try! Dad said the prices were more than fair. Well, recently, I needed help with a few things and had tried to get the problems fixed with another shop closer to my home. After some frustration, I decided to give MAT a try. Sure enough my problem was fixed on the first try! I will make the trip for all my auto needs in the future. Customer for life and thank you for taking such good care of Mom and Dad when they needed service they could rely on. Five stars all the way.
