We have used Giordano's for a few years now for our dumpster and have been very happy with the service. It is so refreshing to not be just a number to some huge corporation and actually be able to speak with people that value your business and want to help you should the need arise. We would not hesitate to recommend this company.
I had over 40 lbs of bare bright that they never weighed when I noticed i called the yard because I had already left they told me to come back and talk to guys in the yard. Yeah im sure that would have gotten me anywhere! They don't show you what they're doing and you're tickets doesn't tell you what you had until after you cash out. Scam artists
Not a single person knows what they’re doing here. Don’t waste your time. These people are cracked out.
*EDIT*: A heavy set white man with anger issues addressed me for my review I left before I was allowed to be paid out. He addressed me by saying “why don’t I let you go pick your metal up and get out of here, since you don’t like my yard” as he pointed to the Google review I left while waiting 20 minutes for service.
He then said and I quote “we’re here to help you.” I responded with “No. you’re in business to make money for yourself.”
He cries out that “we can’t make any money with people leaving reviews like this”.
I wanted to leave wisdom with him instead of spite and followed with, “well, you could start by asking frustrated customers questions about how you can fix a problem instead of trying to start an argument. I don’t need to talk to you the way you’re talking to me. That’s why I said what I needed to outside of this building.”
I can’t wait for you to talk to someone else in Cumberland County like that, because they won’t respond as intelligently as I did to you in front of your coworker. They might even make you regret your behavior.
Good luck running a business when you have managers or owners that want to antagonize and disrespect customers to get your point across.
Waited 35 minutes for a bin. Went to ask the old man what was going on. Needless to say he has an attitude problem and I will no longer be using you guys for scrap. Worst scrap yard. N they will rip u off DO NOT USE!
I thought that all open loads were to be covered and rolloff box secured In rear at least 2 points I'm referring to the roll off truck that got off 55 at the Elmer exit and was dropping debris over 55 as well as cars
Very quick and easy here. I had saved some aluminum cans from the past year and they bring a small portable dumpster and I dumped the cans myself and then redeemed the ticket for my scrap. I was very happy going here to get rid of my cans and make a few bucks on the side for it instead of simply putting it out for the city.
This is a sad company I always see their truck broken down on the side of the road! Clearly the owner doesn’t care about his employees or what they are driving! Maybe the state should do an inspection on this place! I’m pretty sure if they did they would probably get shut down I’m just saying!

Have been using Giordanos for our waste management needs at our company. Poor customer service, drivers damage buildings and fences, fail to pick up according to schedule and then charge for said pick up, fail to communicate proper pricing and the icing on top, when told that we were switching companies and requested the cans be picked on on 1/31 (via email with confirmation response from Andrea) get to work to find out that they picked up the cans almost a week early and without any notice. The owner also does not return calls and nobody in that company is aware of what anyone else is doing. Thoroughly disappointed in the company as a whole and disgusted that in order to get good service I have to go with a company that is NOT locally, family owned and operated
Pays well below everyone around. Going rate on avg. for #1 copper tube was $2.30 and $2.05 for #2. They gave me $1.85 and $1.10 They lost me as a customer.
Was there fri and people there so ignorant you have 2 guys going back and forth on the lift while your standing there for a half hour never again i go there un professional business if you asked me instead of them making ? they loosing money with the dead beat forklift drivers they had there
I ordered 30 yd dumpster to be delivered on Thursday morning finally got it Friday afternoon ordered a switch Friday evening they came and got it Saturday afternoon but didn’t leave an empty now it’s Monday noon still don’t have an empty. They are the worst I’ve ever dealt with and will never do business with them again. They suck is about the best I can say about the customer service and that’s being nice.
They designated stranded building wire THHN (mainly 6 and 10 AWG), completely clean, as 52% ICW. Which according to any scrap index, 52% is CAT 6 Internet cable, and THHN building wire is about 80%. The 52% correlates to 38 cents per pound, and the 80% was 89 cents per pound. I have recycled many tons of wire at various facilities in the tri-state area, and have never encountered this. I asked why they had labeled my wire as this, and he said it was because it was stranded. A display of either ignorance or greed, I will never bring my business there and would never recommend to anyone.
I am not sure what the prior comments were about, but I need to disagree. My visits are always successful. And the people are not rude. The guys in the yard are super nice. Much better experience than the Millville location.
