My daughter’s car broke down in the middle of a drive lane at a gas station at 5 am in the morning. I drove the 35 miles to see if I could get it home and it wasn’t happening so I called city wide towing and they sent out a gentleman by the name of Mike and they told us 20-25 minutes. Mike the driver called a few minutes later and said he would be there shortly and within 5 minutes at 6 am this man showed just as he said he would . He went above and beyond the call of duty to get her car hone safely and without incident. Being in this business as an owner operator I know what it takes to do the job right and this gentleman did everything above standard and he is an asset to the company and I want them to realize that. Thank you city wide towing and mikes especially for your service, respect, professionalism and your understanding as a human you are awesome!
AAA tried sending this company out…they are RUDE unprofessional and like to over charge ppl for the extra miles…refused to give a receipt when questioned the extra charges…requested another company and guess what they charged 50 dollars less than the scum on the phone was trying to charge be aware!! Avoid this company!!

So I had 2 experiences with this shop and both went well. I had my 16 Ford Escape jumped in a parking lot through AAA. The next morning, same thing. Both techs were courteous and respectful. They got right to the job at hand

Haven’t used their services, BUT I did see them traveling at almost 90 mph down the parkway this past Wednesday, July 9 2025. Not only that, the flatbed also had a large truck on its bed.
I’m admittedly not in the towing field, but I’m pretty sure these guys shouldn’t be doing 90, let alone 90 with a vehicle on the bed.
To top it off, the driver was tailgating others with his brights on as well.
Horrible experience. Needed my truck towed out of a parking garage in Atlantic city because my keys were stolen (stay classy ac). Opened the request with AAA at 3:30am, didnt get my truck towed back to my house until after 6pm. The incompetency with the drivers was 100% unacceptable. They kept calling saying "30 min away", and when I called bc they never showed, they would give me attitude and eventually kept blocking my calls. Then when my truck finally came to my house the driver decided to lecture ME because I was telling him that i needed my truck asap and that it is completely unacceptable to be waiting this long. I know its a hard job but 15 hours to recover a truck only an hour away from my home is complete crap. I actually called the police on them because I thought they stole my truck. AAA, please take these people off your list of towing companies. Completely unprofessional and incompetent. The driver was complaining about the traffic he was sitting in, and it took them 3 times to get the correct size truck to fit in the garage, which they were told MULTIPLE TIMES is 6'4 clearance. Kept coming back with super dutys. They clearly do not care about integrity/urgency for the customer. THIS IS YOUR JOB!!! IF YOU HATE IT THEN FIND SOME OTHER LINE OF WORK!!!! Owner of city wide needs a major attitude adjustment if he wants to keep an honest business. Super sketchy would NEVER recommend these people to my worst enemy.
The driver from City Wide was very courteous and knowledgeable. He treated my 55 Chevy Pick up with TLC. Taking all precautions to make sure my truck was safely loaded onto the flat bed. He carefully unloaded the truck when he arrived at the destination.
Crooks who take advantage of people. Was told 1 price on the phone to get my car back. Was given another when I got there. Disgusting what they do to people.
I needed a new battery called AAA Joshua came out from Citywide Towing he was very helpful it was difficult getting the battery out of the car and he made every effort to get it in perfectly, set me all up and took care of any questions I was very pleased with the service and specifically with Joshua
Didn’t use them for towing but this morning my son and I were walking past one of the guys in Linwood on Woodlynne blvd while he was towing a truck and my son loves tow trucks so we stopped to watch. The driver was SO NICE beeped at us said hi to my son and overall was just so sweet to my 2 year old. If my car ever breaks down I’m definitely calling this company. Give that guy a raise he was great!
Luis performed stellar work this afternoon. He arrived on time, fixed my car in a flash and was informative and competent throughout the repair. Please give him a raise
Their truck blew / rolled the stop sign on Stagecoach and Old Tuckahoe in Marmora and almost hit me as I tried to turn off of Old Tuckahoe at the blinking yellow light on to Stagecoach. I called to tell the company their driver is being unsafe and before I could even start to explain, the guy who picked up gave me an attitude… So, not only are their drivers unsafe and don’t follow the rules of the road (which you think would be a prerequisite for the job…) but the office staff and customer facing employees are rude.
Go somewhere else IF you have a choice.
Luis was friendly and knowledgeable when it came to my car battery. He also called before he arrived and confirmed the address. He confirmed the battery was bad and was able to change it out for a new one.
The gentleman that we received on the day of our break down was very nice helpful and caring he even opened the doors for my daughter and I like a pure gentleman and asked us if we were waiting long and if we were ok . He treated us like the upmost respect and cared for our safety and our vehicle . The gentleman deserves a complete raise . You don't get this kind of treatment much anymore from the tow truck drivers anymore it's sad
Never thought I’d leave a 5 star review for a towing company, but I’ll tell you what. Tom Woody is the guy to go to, he’s come to our rescue twice now and i honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else. Respectful, diligent, precise, considerate, and knows exactly what he’s doing. Thank you Tom for making a stressful situation so much easier!!
They trash. Straight bottom of the barrel. Galloway PD had City Wide tow my motorcycle. After paying $400 to get out the lot, I walk up on a UNRIDEABLE motorcycle. And the business acted clueless. AND GOT VERY DEFENSIVE WITHOUT ME PLACING BLAME. Owner has a very short fuse. I wouldn’t trust them. Almost like someone took if for a ride. How does this happen from a tow?!
Terrible service and very ignorant staff. One person didn't know where my battery was located, and, the second person towed my car (yet, arrived at the dealer 90 minutes later). SUSPICIOUS! This tow person was rude and loudly stated that "I didn't tip him". Granted, I always tip; however, early in the morning, I did not have any cash. This is my third experience with this company, and, I asked my insurance (not to send Citywide), but they did. Unfortunately, I (again) had another unpleasant experience. Customers at the the dealer heard the tow driver, and, mentioned that they had a bad experience at Citywide...
Retrain your staff in hospitality, respect, and knowledge.
After a stressful accident on the way home from vacation and long day trying to get my car to start. Paying the tow fee is the last thing that you want to think about. However, the driver from City Wide Towing made our process efficient and set us at ease. Jared, was personable, understanding, hilarious, and most importantly helpful. If I had the power to give a driver of the year award it would without a doubt go to that man Jared from South Jersey. Respect
THIEVES: My friends car was impounded for expired registration in Brigantine . We went exploring towards lagoon beach and were pulled over by beach patrol upon entering the beach trail because we did not have a 4x4 runner with a permit - the patrol officer asked for license -ran the Philly plates and checked for registration - registration was expired , also the big red sign requesting permit and 4x4 was covered with vines (pretty hard to read) cool. we were instructed to reverse out of the beach and on to the cement sidewalk / drive in lot off the beach , off the sand. After we get to the drive in lot on reverse; patrol officer says they are going to tow the vehicle for exp reg- — tow truck takes the car on flat bed with the clamps on the back tires then next day we arrive to this building that has absolutely no price board inside and does not take credit cards CASH ONLY- TAX FREE the only display they had was police stickers in the office. Absolutely no information as to how much per day was displayed. -
(tax free business working with Brigantine police dept. they charged my friend around $485 which $250 was made up fee on the receipt stating they charged as a beach removal THE CAR WAS NOT INSIDE BEACH They have pictures towing from a parking lot. Which is the lot entrance to the beach.
then when I addressed the error the boss got on the phone and verbally changed the fee description, they never gave us a receipt when tow driver took the car - they make up fees in this place and you can’t argue because there’s no sign listing fees for towing. theres police stickers inside the office must be there to intimidate people. THIS IS GREAT Example OF HIGHWAY ROBBERY!
On our way back to Philly the tire threads peeled off while driving sounding as if a helicopter was going to crash on us / almost causing an accident dragging the back bumper all the way to the emergency lane tire damage could have resulted from the clamps they put on the back tires when towing . Didn’t mention that the battery was dead when we picked the car up at tow yard.

Rude service. I called AAA because i locked my keys in my vehicle. They then contracted city wide to preform the service. Originally the call was going to be 30 minutes. After waiting the time I called an asked when the driver would arrive. I told the dispatcher that my phone was dying that I would need to get to a place to charge it. Could they please call me upon arrival. The guy told me when they get there they get there. He then rudely hung up. My phone died so I waited over 3 hours for them to come. Then the guy expected me to tip him.
Due to their diligence and quick response, Pete and his team did a terrific job working with AAA to help me in a very desperate situation. I was able to get my car back up and running. Saving the day and my job, I appreciate them and everyone at the AAA team and city-wide towing. Very thankful
Disappointed by response time but was pre advised by AAA. The young man who responded to my unresponsive car was professional and extremely helpful. I didn't get his name but he has a heavy Latino accent. He is an asset to your company,! He responded to my 9:45 AM call to AAA.
I called for a tow on 2/3/2024 at 8:30ish at night. At 8:42, I had a reassuring phone call that help would arrive in about 20 minutes. In only 12 minutes, Citywide Towing arrived.

My tow truck operator was a big man name Mike. Mike was everything that a tow truck driver should be. Mike was HELPFUL, calm, confident, experienced, serious, polite, and more. Mike gently picked up my Jeep quickly, and towed it gently to my home. Parked in my yard, EXACTLY where I asked. I gave him a nice slice of pizza for his tip, and he was politely on his way.
Because of this overwhelmingly positive experience, I would never be afraid of using Citywide towing again!

My car would not crank because of a dead battery. Since I am an AAA member, I called AAA and they dispatched my request to City Wide Towing. Within five minutes of my service request, I received a call from City Wide Towing, confirming that they were dispatching a technician to my location. About five minutes later, I received a call from the road tech (Miguel), indicating that he was en route and would arrive in about 45 minutes. Exactly 45 minutes later, he arrived at my location, testing the battery and confirming the need for a new battery. He actually had the correct battery in his truck, and performed the replacement-including a check of the entire charging system-all performed within a half hour. Bottom line: It took under 2 hours from my original call to get me back on the road. A special thanks to Miguel for a professional job well done! Please consider City Wide for your service needs. They are friendly, courteous timely and quite professional..
