If you are a frist timer you won't be lost everyone there is helpful no one there is out to rip you you will be treated the same as if you are a regular and they keep the yard clean no flats lol hell what do u have to lose.its a win win
Brought 280lbs. Of aluminum cans down, gave me 10 cent a lbs. Iron price, won't take it back....never again. What a scammer. I can send pictures of what I took down. 100% alluminum cans. Some were dirty with dirt residue from being under my green house for years bagged up.
Place is great, all the guys were nice, but the guy on your small scales needs to work on his hygiene though… it was pretty bad when I went last Tuesday. Handed the guy my id and his nails and were blacker than my pickup.
Great customer service from the manager Joe and the scale operator Hunter very knowledgeable when it comes to materials I can’t recommend a better scrap yard for the prices definitely recommend this place

I went to EMR this morning 7/1/2024 and got 0.44 cents per pound on clean aluminum. Probably should have been closer to 0.60 cents a pound. Am I pissed? YES Will I go there again? Probably Do I recommend this place? No
EMR EHT is the best Joe, the Manager, runs the site with confidence, has a nice and professional presence, always on his "cool and collect". Very pleasant and accommodating.
I can honestly say that I have learned the most about metal, processes, and materials through Hunter. It's been many moons ago since I was an Industrial Design student learning about materials and processes.
Even though metal pricing is currently down, EMR helps new stay motivated to keep on scrapin'!
Staff is very helpful and responsive. They are doing a nice job of fixing up the yard for better access. New Management is doing a nice job with the yard
I have been scrapping off and on my whole entire life, and I have dealt with numerous scrap facilities. This is by far the best scrap/recycling facility I have ever dealt with. Not only because the are paying the highest prices, but also because they are, honest, knowledgeable, and transparent with their scrap pricing. No bait and switch shyster moves like many other.
First time scrapping different metals. Seperate your metals first. Take off all plastics and magnetic metals. Keep clean copper with no solder seperate. Motors from electrical parts seperate and etc. They were understaffed BUT all of the staff were nice helpful and patient even when it was passed closing time. Was scrapping metals worth it? If you have em and need the extra 100 bucks. Sure. If not then no but still good place and nice people. Yes place is a junkyard but it does what it's supposed to sp keep your high horse grounded and you'll have a great time here. Been a customer for years so thank you for wonderful services and great staff!
BEST scrap yard I have ever been to. Prices are competitive to the yards next to the seaport which is UN heard of. U pull it is really good for truck parts. Everyone that works here is very nice AND helpful.
the facility was very clean the employees were very helpful I got the money that I was supposed to everybody was good to me and everything was done in a quick and orderly fashion
As a first time scrapper, wasn't sure what to expect. The staff was very friendly and helpful, explained the different metals and price paid per pound. Can't speak about the price in comparison to other salvage yards, but the convenience and proximity is worth it for my small hauls.
