A day into the massive January snowstorm, my car started vibrating violently on the highway. Willis quickly identified ice inside the wheel as the culprit and chipped it away in minutes. We tried to pay and they wouldn't accept a dime. Really appreciate the fast care that got us back on the road. Will definitely come back when there is a problem (and pay).
The team at Willis Auto Repair totally saved us when we got a flat tire during a road trip! they tag teamed with a local towing company to get us off the highway and replaced the flat with a used tire at no cost! They were extremely kind and professional (and it goes without saying that they are experts at their job!) 10/10 would return for any repairs in the future!
I had a really great experience with Willis Auto in Grantham. Mike, the owner, goes above and beyond to make sure you understand exactly what’s going on with your vehicle. He took the time to explain everything clearly and didn’t rush me through anything.
What really stood out is how fair and reasonable his pricing is. Unlike other local shops I’ve dealt with, Mike doesn’t gouge you or push unnecessary repairs. He even shopped around to find more affordable parts for my vehicle to help save me money — something you don’t see often these days.

Driving along on I89, the engine guard started falling off my car. Stopped with it dragging, Mike came out and removed it and got me back in the road! Polite, friendly and so helpful. If you're in their area, stop in and give them your business! I wish they were in my neighborhood!
Mike and his son are the best mechanics in town! They are very talented in the automotive field. Very professional, kind, honest and very pleasant. There’s a reason why they are busy, their reputation says it all. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
They do great work and are always pleasant to deal with. Unfortunately, being good means you are busy, and it can take some time to get in for work. What can you do? 🤷♂️

I’m not a car person. At all. I use them to get me from point A to point B. I buy 3-4!year old cars and drive them until they die. Mike Jr is never condescending even though my knowledge of cars is so limited.
Sadly, my 12-year old Honda Odyssey; which I admittedly drive more than most moms, is at more than 230,000 miles but keeps on ticking so for now she’ll do. Her wheels are corroded and her upholstery has slowly unraveled over the years, but she still gets me where I need to go so I’m not too worried ,yet.
They are always very nice and will look at things even when they’re busy. They give advice without being pushy. They’re so popular they are booked out two months so I’m not the only one who likes them!
Yo, those guys are top notch! The initial problem I had already diagnosed (correctly I might add,lol) and while they were in there I asked about this other leak.....they told me what it was, gave me a quote and now I need to make another appointment!

Very honest place. My Acura TL had a headlight issue. First they replaced the headlight but the relay controlling it still kept messing up. They communicated this may happen with this type of car before even fixing the headlight. Then they did not charge me for the second repair or part. He is very honest I appreciate it! I would trust them to fix any problem on any vehicle or provide me with information to get my problem solved. THANK YOU GUYS

Got a flat tire on 89 going from Boston to Montpelier. Just walked in, during a snow storm when they were really busy: they were really helpful and nice! Helped me out fast at a great price. Would totally recommend them!
We had the misfortune of a front wheel bearing go out near Grantham, we are from out of state. The Willis guys took care of us on a Saturday morning, kind enough to fit us on no notice. Labor charge was fair, but part cost was more than double. Just beware.

Willis Auto is busy, probably because they do great work.They have always done good work at fair prices since I started using them in 2000. As a car guy who does most auto repairs himself, they have my full confidence and I have never felt like they were doing something that didn't need to be done.
I am new to the area and was given Mike's name. I found him to be helpful and accommodating. He explains issues clearly, I will definitely continue to have my car serviced at Willis Auto.
