I had to rent a car from Maurice Auto a few months back due to an unfortunate car meets guard rail situation. Thankfully, I had the pleasure of dealing with Brett who not only got me into a car quickly and efficiently, but was more than happy to help me pick a vehicle that fit my vehicle needs in comfort and vehicle size. After that experience with Brett, I realized that this may be the only place in town that I would like to do any auto business with. Since that event, he has helped myself and quite a few friends I’ve recommended to him, purchase car parts and even an entire trailer (on the weekend!).
From car rentals, trailer sales, and vehicle maintenance Brett is knowledgeable, passionate, and efficient. He makes you feel heard when you are looking for something and genuinely takes the time with you that you need to make the right purchase for your needs. He won’t sell you just anything and send you home to later realize it doesn’t fit your vehicle or hauling requirements. Brett has exceeded my customer service expectations and I could not be more grateful. Thank you Brett for your hard work and passion behind truly helping people. I had an excellent experience renting from Hertz in Claremont, NH—thanks entirely to Brett Hagerman.
Even though my reservation hadn’t come through the night before, Brett made the entire process seamless. He was personable, compassionate, and went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. I needed to leave my personal car off-site during the rental, and without hesitation, Brett volunteered to help me transition it. That level of service is rare and deeply appreciated. Brett wasn't there when I dropped the car back off but the owner was and he provided the same level of service and kindness as Brett. This is a great local business that has a variety of services- Hertz rentals is only one of them.
Highly recommend this location, and especially Brett, for anyone needing a stress-free rental experience....or if you have an auto, boat, etc service need. Epic service!
Brett could not have been nicer or more helpful. He was able to get me into a car for what my insurance would pay. When I dropped the rental car off, he asked if I needed a ride to pick up my car at the repair shop... Just an all-around good guy who is professional, personable and has a great demeanor. Best rental car experience I have ever had! Brett was an absolute pleasure to deal with... So glad I chose to rent my car from here!

Might be a bit long but worth it! So rented a sedan online via hertz website. When I went to pick up they didn't have 1 of them so they moved me to a small SUV instead and it was explained to me that hertz may not always ensure a particular type of vehicle will be there so maurice's fixes this on their own.
Upon returning, I had realized after the fact I forgot to fill the tank and they allowed me to fix this and aided in doing so to ensure I was only paying market value for gas rather than the hertz fee. And when I asked for a ride to my home here in town they immediately obliged.
To me this was real customer service. Polite respectful doing those little extra things to help folks out and it makes a difference. This is sadly something you see very little of these days, but I am very glad to know 1 business in town still practices customer service.
On a side note, I've been looking at buying a trailer and when I do, to repay in kind and support a local business even if it means waiting for a delivery I'll order it through here.

Fast, friendly, professional. I brought my truck here for a tow hitch receiver. The price was great and the quality is high end. They got the job done when they said they would and the end result looks great, exactly what I wanted. I'll be coming back for sure! I recommend this place.
I just dropped a truck off and they were closed at 12:30 PM on Saturday. So I can't rate them. There are instructions on the door for the key drop box.
Unfortunately picking up the scheduled Penske van created a lot of confusion for us - and them. Because there isn't enough cross-training there for the many staff we encountered. So if you rent through Maurice's be sure to make lots and lots of follow-up calls to be sure who to speak to and that your van will be there. Three staff did try to ultimately get the right guy.
Mike, the owner, was extremely patient and helpful in a not so favorable situation I brought upon him. I greatly appreciate how he went about and handled everything!
Let me start by saying the 3 stars is NOT in reflection to my experience with the employees at Maurice's. Mike and his wife are great and I would deffinetly go back in a heartbeat. The 3 stars is the PJ trailer I bought. I did months of research prior to deciding on a PJ brand trailer, they have the reputation by far. However, that's where it stops in my opinion. It looks great up front and you need to know what your looking for to find the issues but it's piss poor craftsmanship. First, the welds on these trailers are scary in some places, PJ hides it under powdercoat. The deck frame work is mounted with scrap steel filler plates wherever it didn't line up. The tounge mounted toolbox is welded on crooked and not water tight. Holes for ramps aren't even drilled in line so you have to pry the door over to line it up, and I have found 2 marker light wires broken I've had to solder back together. So long story short. PJ Trailers are good from afar, but far from good... It was also made in Mexico. I really was disappointed in that. I was convinced I was getting a trailer made in Ohio.
