You should probably train your employees better etiquette in the parking lot. Super rude and unprofessional of her. Just because she’s an employee she doesn’t have the right to beep at me and yell at me while I’m parking in a space dedicated to anyone.
I’ve been trying to figure out the issue with my car for a couple days - finally figured out it’s a bad battery. Went to buy a new one at Autozone and was going to find someone to replace it - but Gary, the store manager, replaced it on the spot for free. The WEIGHT off my shoulders right now. Thank you Autozone, but more importantly, thank you Gary!! Lifesaver.
We have traveled from Pennsylvania only to have our Honda pilot leave us sit. Received a jump from a wonderful AAA service man who advised us to head directly to Auto Zone. They checked our battery and determined we needed a new battery. The service was excellent and they replaced our battery and got us back on the road in a very short time. Excellent friendly customer service. Thank you so much. Highly recommend them.
I'm leaving this review before I even leave the parking lot. I just walked in looking for some antifreeze for my suburu. The gentleman asked me for what car and he happened to have a returned bottle with some slight cosmetic damage on the bottom he gave me on the house. That was very kind of you and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that! I've already had good experiences here and today was no exception. I'll be back!
Gary the store manager was so very helpful. I had purchased a battery 6 months ago and the car has been having issues starting the last few days. He went to check the battery and noticed the terminal connection was loose. Got me the shim to fix it and did fix it for me. Wonderful service and much better customer service than I got at the dealership.
Gary C saved my day! My windshield wiper flew off my car during a rainstorm. I was able to drive to autozone and Gary picked out the right product AND installed it for me. I am so grateful! What started as a stressful situation ended so positively. Thank you!0
I have had a couple of great experiences at this particular AutoZone but most recently I had some rattling under my car - Gary, the manager, came outside, crawled under my car, and helped take off the heat shield that was hanging on my a thread. He absolutely did not have to do that but I appreciated it so much. I always feel comfortable going to this AutoZone for any of my car needs! Thank you Gary & team!!!

I was at Autozone in Portsmouth today and I was amazed by the way I was treated by Gary, the manager. I needed some push buttons for my under the car plastic cover and a rear windshield wiper. Gary not only helped me find the correct size but he installed everything for me. Amazing!!!! Over and above what one would expect.

Robin C parts manager. Listened to me. She was a tremendous help when we needed it. It was late when I came in. I had a difficult day from sun up to sundown & beyond. Her knowledge mixed with the skills and quick decision making were a very welcome relief. I was thankful she was there. People like her who can think and make decisions on the fly while solving real world problems is a blessing for all of us when we need them.
Gary, the store manager, is fantastic! I popped over with my brother after working an event out in Portsmouth because he needed some oil. He helped us figure out what we needed and added it for us and recommended next steps for our situation! Would highly recommended going to see Gary! Thanks for your help! Good for parts ect. Just don’t let them test your battery . Starter . They do not know what they are talking about they are not mechanics they get paid min wage to sell car parts that’s it .
Don't go here,they are lazy and unhelpful to even sell me a damn fuse...those 3 guys standing around on the day shift August 14 need to be fired. Go to North Ha8auto zone. They helped me not only buy 3 fuses and a tester/fuse puller AND helped me take out and install the fuses!

I had such a great experience at the AutoZone on Woodbury Avenue in Portsmouth, NH. The store manager, Gary, went above and beyond to help me. He introduced himself, shook my hand, and made me feel completely at ease—even though I don’t know much about cars. I needed a new headlight, and he walked me through exactly what I needed without making me feel silly or overwhelmed. It’s rare to meet someone so genuinely kind and helpful. Thank you, Gary—I really appreciated your time and energy!
Gary the store manager saved the day today! Our family of 4 made it home safely today from vacation in Maine. We were stranded and he went above and beyond to bring us a part and get us back on the road! Thanks again Gary!
If it's your only option it's a decent store. I use them for non-critical parts. If you want to fix it once and be done I recommend Federated(Robbins) Auto Parts for any mechanical parts.
We were having a hard time with replacing a headlight bulb in our ford escape, and the store manager and staff were kind enough to assist us to get it resolved and this made a big difference in our day. Thank you again, and we will definitely be coming back to this store in the future!
I wanted to be sure to give a good review today. I went to the zone to get wipers. The service was quick and they helped installing them. I have an older vehicle. The back wiper was brittle and broke. I told them it was okay but the manager came out and put on a new wiper base without charge. Tyler was the manager.
All employees were attentive and knew their stuff. Great Service
Susie is incredible! Very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. Susie helped me out after I had ordered the wrong size /style wiper off of Amazon for my vehicle. I was frustrated and freezing my butt off trying to do it myself the previous day. She greeted me right away, help me find the wipers I needed, and then came outside to help/show me how to put them on..All in less than 10 minutes. Overall, great experience. Thank you, Susie! You’re the best of the best!

Edit: This store has great employees who are all very helpful and knowledgeable. If they happen not to know something they are quick to find it out and get you the answers and information you need. I commend the staff for all their hard work.
Would like to leave a Thank You to Tyler who very kindly replaced my Car front driver side light bulb. I had been stopped by police for this bulb being out, and pulled into Auto Zone in Portsmouth. Tyler offered to install replacement bulb right on the spot. Thanks ‘A Mil’

This Auto-Zone was “extremely” helpful and made my experience an easy breeze.
First and foremost, I am definitely not someone who writes reviews but I knew I had to show my appreciation. I was on my way home to Massachusetts from Maine and my alternator went on my car. I towed my car to this autozone as it was the closest parts store to where I broke down. I bought a new alternator and battery to replace it myself and Kassie gave me a full cart of tools to complete the job. Not only that, she even went to her personal vehicle to let me utilize her jack and jack stands! It took me some time as different parts would not come out smooth, but Kassie was there the whole day willing to assist with anything I needed. I was able to replace the alternator and get back home. Kassie was so hospitable and courteous; it was absolutely amazing! Especially where good service is difficult to come by nowadays it was truly incredible. Where I am not happy that my car broke down after a vacation, I was so blessed to have crossed paths with such a caring individual who truly values customer service. Thank you for all you did for me!
