  The attendant is extremely helpful and often helps me with my heavy lifting. The only thing I wish we could also have is a transfer station to recycle items that are still of value and use.

  A great place for Portsmouth residents to get rid of just about anything, some items you will be charged for but, not much at all, you can get a 1 year permit for a small fee and you can go as much as you need

  I don't think I ever would have thought I'd be rating a recycling center but it's a strangely pleasant place to go drop off your recyclables and trash. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I think I've spent more time there talking than throwing away my large recycling. Just make sure to bring proof of Portsmouth residency to get in.

  Would be great if they were open more/longer hours but it’s usually well maintained and easy to navigate. Employees are helpful when they are available. Saturday’s are crazy busy but that is to be expected in a big town. Overall, it’s a convenient operation
