Had to have a 10 x 10 deck pick up and drop off in the same neighborhood. Tiny neighborhood small roads skinny driveways. I anticipated a nightmare situation. Everything went perfect. The driver had no problem with the small roads no problem, figuring out how to lift the deck. Didn’t even leave any ruts in the wet grass when he dropped the deck off. I love these guys.
PD called them in for a timely pick up of my little ol car broke in the middle of the on ramp. They advised me they had to pick me up and move my car while waiting for my tow service to arrive. The drive was friendly, knowledgeable and told me all the tips I needed to go about getting a reimbursement. I didn’t catch his name but he was a nice young man. Top notch job.
Dishonest, liars and shady. Dented the bottom of my car while loading it on the trailer bed. The driver told me he'll acknowledge it but later lied and they stopped answering my call.
This guy is such a jerk!!!!!!! I’m keeping it PC because it’s a google review. My first time ever being towed and treated me like an idiot. What kind of “man” screams at a woman like this man did????? Not sure how this business has 3+ stars. Who actually enjoys getting their car towed?????? They were very responsive and professional. The tech came out quickly on an after hours call after one set of my dually tires blew out. The tech had us back on the road in no time and was very friendly. Would recommend and use them again in a heartbeat!!!

I had the misfortune of arriving at Pease Portsmouth Airport close to midnight and finding my car battery was died. AAA was unable to get me service until the AM. I called NWS and spoke with Andrew. He came to the airport quickly and stayed with us until we got the car started. He was kind, friendly, and I appreciate him staying because the battery was DIED! It was the middle of the night and we would have been stranded until morning. I know he was getting paid to be there but he was my hero last night. Had a load of livestock on and blew a steering tire. With live animals it should have been less than an hour for what they charged. Took them over 2 hours to come and replace tire w/ rim. Cost was embellished from an emergency situation. Made contact after the event and no courtesy was afforded.
Last night 5/2/23 I had an accident on 95 in Kittery. State Police contacted National Wrecker Service for me and they came right out promptly to retrieve my Car. The guy who came was very down to earth and polite and explained the best option for towing my Car. He explained everything in detail and how he would load my car and where he would take it. He saved me money and I truely trusted him with my Car. He also explained the damages he saw and gave me piece of mind they could be repaired. Today I had to have my truck towed from new hampshire to Maine and the tow truck driver named Will was awesome. He was very professional and quick at hooking my truck. I recommend this tow company to everyone. Thank you National wrecker and Thank you Will
a Showed up very quickly and pulled me out of gas station with the plow still attached to my truck. My starter blew and Jordan was there lickity split just before 9:00AM and then delivered my truck to GMC in Portsmouth. Did a professional and stupendous job! Thanks Jordan and the team that took my call. You guys are great! The rate was reasonable and I highly recommed them!
Was charged almost $600 for the time mechanic spend, he could't find the problem. For my question about mechanic competence I heard a lot off yelling and threats if I not gonna pay they will tow away my truck. Another mechanic fix the problem in 1 hour.
Stay away from this service.
Great all around, the tow truck picked us up in a complete monsoon and got us to the shop. We expected to be stuck all weekend before we could even get a quote. Craig out tech dove into the issues and completed all repairs before they closed. (5 hours) Our RV was back and we will be back on our trip good as new in the morning!!
Reliable, fast and easy to communicate. I had waited 6 hours for 2 different tow trucks that never showed up from another company. I called this company and they showed up exactly when they said they would. So happy with the service. Our tower was very knowledgeable and kind.
Called because I got a flat and couldn’t get the lugs off, they told me it would be $90 and it would take an hour to get to me. I waited the hour and called and they said it would be another 15 mins, they then proceeded to take an hour and a half in total. When the guy jacked up my car he rolled it on the jack and I had to take it to a shop to get a new undercarriage cover which cost me $580. This all would’ve been fine as it’s small things that I understand happen at 2 am but, I was then charged $95 instead of $90 and to be honest they’re lucky I even paid as they were VERY late, damaged my vehicle, and overcharged me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! It’ll be cheaper to get a mew wheel and tire then having them change it.
As a native of Portsmouth I'm proud to post the best review for service of ANY local business I've worked with in some time. One flat tire, done and explained in thirty minutes. Made me feel welcome and the cost was VERY reasonable. Will be using them as often as possible. Do not hesitate to call them for anything......
I am about TJ, the great mechanic who arrived to me with his mobile workshop (service truck). He is pro and owner for his duty. My Volvo semi’s air comressor discharge pipe blown. That is the steel pipe and had its unique shape, so I needed the exact part. They found one for me from different state and TJ came back with that very exact part and installed it! Great pleasure to be helped with you guys! Highly recommended
I brought my bus here for work - an oil / filter change and I heard a metal sound I wanted to have diagnosed/fixed. I spent $3500 in tires - bearings etc, oil change and was told it was all set.
Next day.. metal sound is still there. Also a wire connected to the battery was melting the rubber as it was getting so hot. I bring It back and left it for 2 weeks while I was away.. I was told they'd start on 1 issue and look to find the reason for the other.
3 weeks later.. no work done, and suggested it needed a new engine. Which if I new in the first place.. I definitely wouldn't have approved the 1st job. Estimating thousands of dollars more.
I left with the bus.. half way down the road it breaks down. I call AAA - they look at it, and notice - the wire I asked them to look at and replace - they just cut it..and left it hanging - It was the wire from the Alternator to the battery.
I had to have the bus towed $640 - To a friends shop, I spent $400 on a new alternator. He checked the oil - completely overflowing, didn't remotely look changed - oil filter was old too. He changed it - put some additive in it, the metal sound is now gone - he replaced the wire in minutes - And now the bus is running great.
If I had not gone to this shop and just went to my friends in Gloucester first - I would have saved $4000 - this place is dishonest and frankly - cutting a wire?! - thats flat out causing more problems so I have to pay them to fix it.
Would not ever recommend this place.
Unfortunately we did not have the best first day in New Hampshire, as our rig broke down less than 1/2 mile from campground on a Saturday morning. AAA and a local Hampton cop recommended using National Wrecker service.... and having heard and read about other people's experiences- I was quite anxious as we had NEVER needed a tow in over 30 yrs of RVing. National Wrecker seemed like, and turned out to be an EXCELLENT option. They arrived in timely manner to our precarious breakdown location ( an inclined, curving ON RAMP to a highway), and professionally hooked up equipment to take our RV (41 ft Diesel Pusher) safely back to THEIR shop where they would be able to repair it. Lucky for us, they had recently installed a 50 AMP outlet for RVers in our predicament (full timing.) We stayed overnight 2 nites waiting for Monday to roll around for mechanics.... Will was on it by 8am Monday, and he did an excellent job repairing what turned out to be a difficult to reach hose on top of our 500 Cummins engine, finishing most of the repair by noon. He kept me abreast of progress, and they just wanted to let it run for a while to be certain all was well (it was.) We were on our way before 2pm. I can only hope that if we ever again have such an incident that we would be lucky enough to be in the vicinity of an establishment similar to National Wrecker to get us back on our way.
Got out of work to find I had a dead battery. National was the only one who could get to where I was and they were there in about 10 minutes. The driver Nick called to tell me his status and knew exactly where I was located, he was very friendly and professional. Hooked up a booster pack and sent me on my way less than 20 minutes of being dispatched. Great service and great driver.
Called with a flat tire on a 6 wheeler and Miguel answered the phone. He brought a new tire incase the old one could not be repaired. Price was as promised $135 an hour 2 hours min plus the repair. He removed the tire from the rim plugged and installed a patch inside the tire, reinstalled the tire torqued the bolts and checked for leaks.

I called this shop for road service. At the beginning the price was $120 per hour but at the time to pay the price magically has turned into $145. The job was fine no complains. Then they tried to charge me for 3.5 hours which is the tire change and it’s about 45 min to 1 hour and 2.5 hours of driving. Truck was 30 miles away from the shop at the service plaza on I-95.

I drive a tractor trailer over the road and have looked for a shop for 3 days to fix an exhaust leak. The fumes were literally killing me... nobody cared and nobody would even LOOK at it. In Portsmouth, I called National Towing because they had a repair shop and explained my desperation because I am just one truck and need to keep rolling from being booked in advance. Jim agreed to check it out despite being extremely busy as was everyone else. I arrived and showed him the exhaust leak. I had Figured the one leak needed only a clamp..T.J. The mechanic took the extra few minutes from being so busy and as we looked at it , he pointed out the pipe had quite a few leaks and had no problem fixing it correctly and professionally . Most places would have just tried to hurry through things, but thankfully he is very proud of the reputation on being a mechanic and of his job and made sure it was done perfect. I would recommend this shop to anyone and want to thank them for making sure the exhaust fumes leak was done correctly . Awesome customer service and friendly people throughout the whole business. Can't see the other reviews facts, but as for me.... I would recommend their services to everyone I know. Thanks again!!!!!
