Drove two hours for a bumper they said they had and they didn't have it. While I was there, they screwed over someone who drove 3 hours to not have the engine they said they had. The guy who answers the phone maybe has a 2nd grade education and you can tell by the way he talks.
The worst junkyard I've ever been to. The rude people behind the counter tried charging me $25.00 for a part that was 7.50. Then being the child he was threw the part across the shop when I called him out on the massive price gouge. What a joke. I wouldn't give them a star but I have to to post.
Needed a hatch for a Toyota 4Runner, concerned for rust, they assured me no rust. All the way down in NC I asked for assistance in shipping and they obliged. Great communication all the way through, updated me on a few dents to ensure I was still wanting the part. I'd do business with them again. Great people to work with.
I was sold an old damaged 2004 Mazda 3 2.3L, thru a 3rd party vender. The engine was trash. I called to see if they received the engine back, within 30 day guarantee and the person was rude and nasty. Then hung up on me. If i could give them 0 stars, i would.
I needed a part for my Honda Odyssey that was indefinitely back-ordered. They didn’t have one but Ted (owner/manager) said he’d check to see if he could locate one and within a day he called me back saying he could have the part shipped up for very reasonable price. It came promptly and he even offered to install the part bc I didn’t have a mechanic to take it to. Part was installed without issue and I can now get my car inspected. These guys are the real deal - one of the few true family businesses that actually care about making/keeping customers happy. They’ll take care of you!
I went in looking for a tailgate. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got what I needed and they were able to help me pull a door quickly as well.
We ordered a 900 dollars in parts gave part number. When I get there they want the check then I see the parts and they are wrong color I tell them it the wrong color. That's when the additive started. They refused to give me my check back. Then tell me I have to keep the door because there guy scratched it when loading it the say there is a restacking fee. In the end I paid for parts I can't use.
I called and they hung up on me. Very rude service, listen to the reviews. I literally just said “good afternoon, I have an odd question about-” and it went *click* like a land line hanging up. They’re definitely losing customers and income by default based on who answers the phone, but I guess they’re cool with that. This is the first time I’ve ever written a review about any business, it’s that bad. Hopefully they clean up the attitude.
Great staff I never in all my cars parts that needed to be fixed they were the only ones who had LOGOS! and have a great day signs! I highly recommend DAVE he is a sweetheart
I've got good experiences with these guy's. The problem is though that every time I go to pick up a part that I need for my vehicle or my folk's vehicle's, it's either not there or the vehicles have been crushed and you need to wait for more cars and trucks to come in off a rack body, or I have to come back with some heavier tools to take out a rusted but useful part that can easily be restored with a glass-bead blaster. But prices are normally negotiable.
Very rude staff called them and they would not take my car the exaeded to call me back and say that I was very rude. I will never be doing bisnus with them again
This place is great! Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I used to go to different places to compare prices, feel it out, etc. And Epping Auto was always my final decision. Great prices for parts, tires, etc. But also, and most importantly, the guys are trustworthy. They don't try to swindle you into buying stuff you don't need. Everywhere else, and I mean EVERYWHERE else would tell me 5 other things that's wrong with my car and try to push me into buying more parts, claiming the imperative time restriction. I'd ask them what they thought about the same issues and they would give it to me straight. Some other parts did need replacement soon but nowhere near as bad as other places would have me believe. And to top it all off, the parts were cheaper at Epping Auto. Win-win-win. Highly recommended, I don't go anywhere else if I can help it. Solid 5 stars
I had a totally unpleasant experience at this yard. I needed a new front axle and this was the closest yard to me that had it in stock. I went to check it out and after talking them down from a horrendously high price (to something barely affordable) I took the axle home and took a closer look at it.
The yard cut it out of the donor vehicle so it still had the junk brakes on it so I wasn't able to test it really well at the yard, but after I took all that off at home, I found out that one side of the axle was toast. Bad bearings and u-joint. Now here I am still trying to press out a u-joint that has welded itself to the axle shaft.
If I had paid a fair price for this axle I wouldn't have thought twice about how much work it needed; as it stands however, I am royally peaved at the whole situation.
This business is not worth your time.
This place is great! The guys know there business they help you keep your old vehicle on the road with used parts then give you a fair price for it when you are done with it.
One of the people that worked there, i believe his name was mike. Was very rude towards me when i asked simple questions. And also didn't bother helping me/answer my questions.
Been dealing with them for almost 20 years. They are fast and don't give me a run around. It's rare that, as a young woman, I feel i'm actually being given a fair deal. I've recommended them to many in the past, all with great results.
