Picked up a rear end. It was junk. Made me jump through hoops to return it. Said my card would be credited. 5 days later no credit and still out 1500.00. Worst customer service ever say there too busy but yet you go in and there doing nothing.
My boyfriend went to this establishment on 4/11/2025 to get an alternator for his work van. He pulled up and parked right in front of the door where it's clearly parking for the public. He didn't pull out back. He picked up the alternator and left but instantly when he hit the road he heard a clanking. His tire ended up blowing off the rim due to a bolt picked up at this property. When I called to talk to them a guy named Rick answered the phone and was rude and nasty. he told me to call back to speak to the owners. We then went to put in the alternator and found that this alternator was junk. when I called up to speak to them today about the tire and the alternator they told me it was too bad and I couldn't prove that it came from their property. $700 later for a tow, a new tire and a junk alternator, less learned not to do business with this scummy place.
Went there for a rim on a Saturday, around noon, was told "yep, we have it...." But, I would have to come back in 2 days because no-one was there to "take it off the car". As I noticed a total of 3 other employees behind the counter with this person.........👍👍
I called the guys to find out that they have the spare part I need in stock. They said come and pick it up.
I live 1.5 hours from their location
I come, they say we bent it.
I'm very disappointed that they couldn't warn me!
I purchased a transmission for a 2007 Buick Lucerne and was told it had 80k miles on it, it was tested and in perfect working order.
I flushed the converter, replaced the input shaft seal and both output seals and installed the transmission. At this time, I went to change the filter and pan gasket ( rolling the transmission over to check that first is not always the best of ideas, if there were contaminants in the pan, it would be all over the valve body after rolling it over), I lowered the pan flat to check for debris, I found about 3 lbs worth of ground steel. The transmission was also locked. I couldn't even push it out of the way of the lift, I had to wheel lift it.
The transmission was also sent with my pickup person full of fluid causing fluid to spill all over the deliver truck.
I called them to tell them of the issue and they spoke with empathy and promised to make this situation good and get me another transmission. I was promised a return call within an hr, I waited 24hr's to give them a chance to do the right thing before calling them and they played the transfer me around game that landed me in voicemail. I left a friendly reminder message and still haven't received a return call and we are currently at 3 days.
If you plan on buying used parts, I recommend you look elsewhere.

I want to thank this guy Rick who helped me out a lot today he helped by using his fork lift and put wood pellets under my carport “ He came right over and helped me never charged me anything and I want to say thank you so much and anyone who ever is looking for a honest place and nice people should think of this place before any other “ONCE AGAIN THANK YOU RICK

Never got what I paid for because apparently they didn’t have it or couldn’t find it and kept getting the run around, good thing I used PayPal and I will get my money back! Probably not the shipping but I’ll take what I can get. Why is it so hard for them to just make right the wrongs and go about their business? I will say the man I talked with was nice but I’m disappointed they left me hanging. I understand businesses get busy but you can’t forget customer service because that’s what you do for a living, You serve people.
Super affordable parts and they mean it 😂 the guys in the office are some clowns lol had a great laugh while I was there. they literally make you feel comfortable and not only that this place has all selections of vehicles you’re looking for all makes and models you name it!! Will be doing future business with these guys for sure
No idea how they got so many 5 star reviews. I had a horrible experience with them. I searched all over for a transmission for my vehicle. they had one for a real low price. I guess what I paid for. They first shipped me the wrong transmission. Owned up to them, but of course would not send me the correct transmission without sending them a second payment. I understand money is tight for everyone during this time but they should right a wrong. So I sent them a second payment, mind you I was the one that set up the shipping because I lived close to 3 hours away. Once the second transmission arrived and my mechanic ready to do the swap, they saw that the transmission had been stripped of internals. All the necessary components needed to use the transmission was stripped out. I obviously did not want to even talk to John's anymore.
Any future potential customer should do this, definitely pay them via Paypal. I did, and filed claims for both payments and Paypal sided with me. Of course I'm out the 2 shipping fees so I doubt John's will reimburse me for that. Real horrible way to run a business. If they are going to list something, at least disclose it if its actual parts and not an entire unit. If Google allowed me to rate this place lower than 1 star, I would.

My son purchased a motor from them $10ooo all was fine at lst. He put less than 500 miles started having trouble. Come to find out he had a cracked head. Contacted bruce who sold it to us just gave him run around finally happened to be up in area some guy told him l month out of warranty. But told him he would send him a new head

Tried calling several times even asked for owner to call back. Guess what never happened either. So now my son is out 1000 prob another 400 for gaskets etc motor related costs. Now has s truck he cant use. GREAT WAY TO DO BUSINESS. REALLY BRUCE BUYER BEWARE.in the business to rip people off. DONT BUY FROM THEM
Amazing people ! I have had the worst week imaginable, got a flat tire and these guys heard my situation without hesitation they gave me 2 rims and tires for free to help me get back on my feet.
