A throwback to a simpler time.. an all inclusive resort where you stay in a “ cottage” with high ceilings, stone fireplaces, long porches with painted wicker rocking chairs… overlooking the golf course, lake, tennis & shuffle board courts… and the Inn where you’re handed a menu to order from at each meal.
TLV has been run by the same family for more than 130 years and my grandchildren are now the 4th generation of our family to have the wonderful privilege of creating great memories here.
Be aware that this is not a luxury hotel. This is a wonderful, rustic summer camp type of place. Lots of activities, golf ,tennis , lake beach. Meals are included. They have camp houses as well. A really great family run business that takes you back to a different time, in a good way.
A great vacation spot, my family has been coming for the last 39 years. We love the nostagia and tradition of the place. Every July gives us the oppurtunity to pause and reflect on the year, put our phones down, and enjoy eachothers company for a few days.
Stayed here for a wedding and we had a great time. The cabin we stayed in was rustic and very well kept. There's no A/C or ceiling fans, but there are outlets if you want to plug in a fan (provided). If you're looking for a cabin experience then I would give the room 5 stars.
The beef at the wedding was absolutely amazing and the service was very friendly. This place was a great choice for a wedding; I couldn't recommend it enough!
I have been coming here since I was a baby. TLV is a little slice of heaven. From the golf to the beach to the mountains TLV has it all. Just remember to turn off your phone and enjoy all that New London has to offer.
I have been going here since I was a little kid. If you are looking for an all-inclusive traditional New England getaway, look no further. The Villa has a nine-hole golf course that guests can use. It has a boathouse with kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and even Sunfish sailboats. The Villa also has a private beach and tennis courts to play on with shuffleboard. I cannot say enough about what a great family getaway this can be, especially if you are looking for a great place to vacation with your extended family as well. What a wonderful place.

We have been spending a week or 2 every summer for the past 26+ years at TLV and we love it. TLV is a great place to go with your immediate and/or extended family. While at TLV, we swim, hike, play tennis and golf, kayak, canoe, go fishing, play cards, domino's and board games and sometimes just relax. We enjoy the cool nights and warm days. Can't wait until next year.

My husband’s family has been coming to TLV for the past 56 years straight without missing a year. It has something to offer for everyone and you will leave with the biggest smile on your face. Our daughters are 3 and 6 and have been coming since newborns and they already look forward to being back every single year. It’s the perfect place to go “unplug” and enjoy a breath of fresh mountain air! Whether you’re an active family that wants to hike, fish, golf, kayak, sail, play tennis or you just want to sit and relax on the beach and the dock or unwind in your cabin, there is truly something for everyone.
