24-hour service is excellent. Brian came out to my place on relatively short notice and attempted to tow my vehicle, but there was not enough space to get the car on the flat bed. I called knowing that it was a particularly tight space, so I was not surprised. Had I called at a different time, there may have been a smaller truck available. Brian showed a genuine desire to make it work and gave it an honest try. While it wasn't ultimately successful, I will be quick to call Bob's for my towing needs in the future. I still paid for the service call (which was expected), but at a generous discount.
Everyone there was great understanding, had no issues worked with Donna with my trucks n she a blessing! I highly suggest coming here because their great business had no issues.
Great help today one of these guys came out to try to jump start my car didn't work.
Told him I would call my mechanic and I'm sure I'll be calling them to take it to Portsmouth.
I called my mechanic and yup called back to have someone take my car down to them and Bob's sent the same guy.
There my car goes, great tow truck driver great customer service. I will definitely call them again.

I started getting all the typical work done on my car at Bobs when I moved to Dover! They have always done a great job. Also, they are incredibly nice!! :)
$200 for a tow is insane. If you get towed by these guys, expect to be handing them your wallets. Also, they don't accept card anymore because people kept charging back their transactions. I wonder why?
My son was in an accident and my car was towed to Bobs. Donna was very knowledgeable and informative about the car and the process we faced. She helped us to know what to do and how to handle the insurance and what the next steps were. I can’t thank them enough. Very professional and helpful. You don’t see this kind of service anymore. Glad to know that we have them around.

I pulled off silver street because I was on a Motorcycle and traffic stopped, I thought it was more dangerous out on silver street when this middle aged woman came out yelling at me for no reason. I didn’t argue with her, but what kind of life is hers always to be angry. I’ll never spend a dime there. Their reply is they saved the video, I’ve been riding for 50 years I just got back from a 5200 mile trip, the law states if it’s safe to do so, the reason I’m still kicking is I make quality decisions, too bad you have nothing better to do. You got a one star review. The light was green when I started through the intersection, you should post the video here and let others make their own decision, I didn’t try to “squeeze” between a parked car and your wrecker, I was stopped when your wrecker pulled forward to block me, I was talking to you, post the video!
The entire team at Bob's Auto is top notch. Helpful, friendly, and most importantly honest. They've helped me out of more predicaments than I can remember at this point. These guys continually go above and beyond, it's so refreshing to deal with such a professional and courteous team!
Our company reached out to Bob's Wrecker Service for assistance unloading an oversized delivery. Everyone was extremely friendly and easy to work with both in the office and on site, and we were able to schedule an appointment ahead of time to meet our truck. Their driver was on time and super helpful completing the job. Definitely would recommend their services, we will for sure keep them in mind for future needs in the area!
I hit an icy patch in the driveway this morning and two tires ended up off the pavement and over an embankment. I called Bob's Automotive, and Devin was so friendly and helpful. He had me text pictures of what we were working with, and then called back immediately to confirm he could help. He arrived within 40 minutes and had the car back on the driveway within 10. Hoping there's no next time, but I'm saving their number just in case!
Bob’s Auto has been our family’s go-to for mechanic work and towing since I was in diapers. We all still love and trust them to this day! They’re fair, affordable, helpful, kind and above all, aim to keep us all SAFE!
I’ve brought my vehicle here a few times and they are fantastic! First of all, they do great work and have always fixed whatever problem I had. Second, they are all so nice! Donna is amazing, she’s helpful, will call if there’s an unexpected issue and can explain what was done. Most importantly, they’re honest. They book kind of far out, so sometimes it’s a wait for an appointment but I wait if I can because I hate going anywhere else. If it’s a true emergency, like when all my coolant was leaking out, they’ve fit me in. They will say what’s really necessary to do and what can wait, and are honest in their pricing.
Wow! I can't say enough about this towing. They were fast and very professional. The cost was 160 I only had 150 on me and they said it was okay! Very nice of them! Highly recommend!

I have never had any good experiences with auto body shops until BOBS GULF in Dover NH. Donna and her team are considerate and reassuring. What a smooth experience this has been - I first called the office and they gave me a quote and some different suggestions - I called back and was able to get the tow service for the time that I needed at a great price The tow driver even waited 20 minutes until we were ready for him. Cannot recommend them enough.
They have been repairing vehicles, and towing for a long time. They are personable, and efficient.
Their waiting area is bright but small, and can be noisy. They are a short walk from numerous restaurants, so waiting might be done there.
They use parts from Federated in Dover, and Tom gets them up to Bob's efficiently.

Awesome ! A++++ stranded in the middle of the night bobs towing came right out within 20 mins of calling super good service! I thought the price was even reasonable even though I could’ve spent 300$ on many other things around Xmas time but I was super happy to get home in a timely manner! The driver was super respectful, nice kid to talk to! Anytime I have an issue in that area this is who I’m gonna be calling!
My car was stolen from the location it was being stored and I didn't find out for a substantial amount of time. After confirming my police report etc, the staff at Bob's were so helpful and consistent. It was a relief during a very hard time. Their expenses are reasonable, and their policies are fair. I'm so thankful for all their help!
My toddler locked me out of my car (as they tend to do) on a 95 degree day. They came down super fast, so much so my fiancee with AAA was shocked. Driver was super kind and helpful and interacted amazingly with my son. 10/10 would recommend
Devon and his team are the best. I have had the check tire light on for 2 years. One place wanted $450 to put new pressure sensors in each wheel. I brought my Buick in for an oil change and Devon -diagnosed the problem and fixed it for no charge.. I did not even ask for the repair.
Another time, my check engine light came and I stopped by without an appointment- Devon stopped what he was doing, put the computer analyzer on the car, and re-set the temperature sensor- NO CHARGE. He told me to replace the sensor, if the light came back on. So far two weeks later, it is still working.
I have been using Bobs for over 30 years and I have had nothing but honest, fair service.. These guys are pros who know how to diagnose and fix your car, not just replace parts until they find problem.
We are 100% impressed with Bob's Auto and Wrecker Service. They were quick to respond and very polite. We had expected our technician to be stuck all day but Bob's rescued him within 30 minutes or less. The ladies on the phone were amazing. You can bet that if we need service in the future we will be reaching out to Bob's!!!
Had a flat tire this morning, and Bob's told me to stop in and they could fit me into their schedule. As soon as I pulled up, they began working on it and plugged my tire within minutes. All for $20! Excellent service and friendly! Will be going back for all my repairs. Thank you!!
I have always received amazing service from them. They let me know everything that is going on and happening with my car. I have a older Subaru and it always seems to break with age but bobs has helped me fix everything. I would NOT go to any other place than there guys!! great environment as well.
