Super nice and helpful staff. I was struggling to get there before they closed and they helped me out by hiding the part I needed and payed for just outside giving me a chance to get it. Best place if your looking for car parts. And the on hold music is dope!!
I would like to start off by saying I don't leave negative reviews, but in this case it must be done. I would hate to anyone else get mislead or miss treated by Arthur at Allied Auto Wrecking. I am another Salvage yard and sent out a request looking for a transmission. Arthur quoted me $875 laid. ( laid is a term which means shipped to your door). A day later Arthur messages me and says the shipping has doubled. I called Arthur directly to try to work something out possibly splitting the shipping. I was told that it was going to cost me an additional $125. Arthur said they would not eat $125 or work with me on the shipping take it or leave it. I have been in business for over 26 years and have never been treated like this. I would like to warn all consumers not to buy anything from them. After being treated like this I am very great full that I didn't order the transmission from them, I couldn't imagine what would have happen if there was a problem with this transmission with in its warranty period. Please see the attached copy of our conversation. I deal in facts not feelings. If you need parts you should try car-part this deals with thousands of salvage yards so you don't have to be miss treated or mislead by Arthur at Allied auto wrecking. Arthur's poor attitude is what gives the auto salvage business a bad reputation.
Not happy with this company, purchased an original OEM wheel from
a 2019 Chevy Cutaway Van they supposedly had, instead what I got
was a new aftermarket Dorman wheel at an inflated cost (way more than other vendors sell it for) and they charged a "core" charge of $30 at the end of the sale...$30 is their shipping cost as I found out for possible return to them. I feel like a bait and switch took place, never got what i oringinaly wanted. If i wanted a Dorman could have gotten from others for considerably less. I don't trust these guys anymore.
I was happy that I got the part that I had ordered the day that they had told. While I was there a worker had took the time to show me a couple of used vehicles as well. I have used these guys for used parts and are pleased with them every time.
Was given one cost with receipt and now bank was different.being told 4percent feeder using my bank card,was never told that on the phone so I called Arthur insist he told me this and hes absolutely wrong,had he I would of sent my son with cash to pick up order 2 days late as one fender was damaged and after being told fender flops included got things home and no fender clips so I had to buy this on top of being chargealmostn9. More and 30 for a damaged fender. Bad business experience. Next time tell people on the phone when you Insist of an up front payment to take product off cars that you have a fee ya you can say it's in the door but You did not tell me on the phone..at the time that is the bottle line. Shame of business ethics
This is the best garage to make a car repair around. You can also buy car piece and make the repair yourself. Overall, they know their stuff and don't overcharge to make car repair. So next time you get a car trouble, try them instead!
It is so great having a friendly, helpful salvage yard within 20 minutes of my house. Ron and John were immensely helpful in locating the specific part I needed to put my beater back on the road so I don't have to leave my shiny late-model vehicles at Logan or the Amtrak station.

Great folks to deal with. Only problem was I didn't get any of that sarcastic Yankee attitude. I kinda miss it. What I did get was the right part shipped quickly and awesome, friendly service. Special thanks to Arthur!

Had just the part I needed - even in the right color. It is amazing to me that everything is so well catalogued that they can walk right to the right part among all of the cars and parts. The cheapest price around as well.
