DO.NOT.SHOP.HERE with your Debit or credit card! I have had many a false/fraudulent charges on mine and there's nothing they can or will do about it. They just say call customer service. Ive had 2 cards replaced just this year. Unless you pay in cash, Please do not shop here! If you want more of what I went through, Ill be more than happy to let you know. They pass the buck on their accountability. Remember they had a data breach: they still have a problem! Shaws in Nashua uses paypal which is a MUCH safer option. Because I use my debit card, I cannot safely purchase from Hannaford anymore. I will be switching to Shaws in downtown Nashua. Sad but Hannaford has gotten sloppy and these fraudulent charges and disregard for their patrons is inexcusable at this point. They used to be helpful to me but now Its just a worry and concern every time I shop. Again, for your financial safety, please use another Grocer for your daily and weekly needs!
They put up stickers saying WOW at the prices. Why is it WOW if Market Basket beats your prices every time? And why have a card to save 2% when MB is 25% cheaper to begin with? I love this place because you can spend more money and ring everything up yourself so they can make even more money. I have no idea why people love this place. One girl in the front was yelling at customers from 30 feet away to go to the self checkout when they clearly know that is an option. Produce deli and meats are 25% to 100% more expensive than Market Basket.
Hannafords bakery on coliseum Ave did an amazing job on my baby shower cake! Placing the order was easy Danielle took all the notes and asked all the right questioned. I have them a reference image and it was EXACTLY what I wanted. Thank you Thank you for providing not only a tasty best cream cake but also a beautifully designed cake.
I drive 80mph after work on July 3rd to make it to the deli before it closes at 7pm, only for the lady to look at me.. and say sorry these 2 people in front of you are gonna be the last customers I take because were closing. It was only 652pm? Now were am I supposed to get everything i needed for tomorrow's cookout and party? Im so disappointed. This is a week
after my GF had to complain about another deli employee taking several other people ahead of her, and dropping her back of cold Cuts and still giving it to her. Im not coming back. Wish I could select 0 stars... and I go there twice a week, they know what I order and I'm always super polite, friendly and patient. (Anyone thinking I'm being rash, check my other reviews.. im always quik to praise a good experience and usually dont do this... but that was not okay. If people get there before you close... you help them.
I went to pick up a group of prescriptions today. I had them transferred from Walgreens after the unfortunate fall of my dear Rite-Aid.
The talented people at Hannaford made the trip easy to accomplish , and while I was there I picked up some essential items to make a couple of meals for this evening. the pharmacy team was really great and super friendly.
It will be great to get my medications filled there from now on and while there I can pick up whatever I need to make a quick meal or anything else I might need.

It seems like a small store but they have a much wider array of options compared to other Hannaford locations. Employees are friendly and willing to help if you approach them with a question. Produce was top-quality and no need to pick around for the best one.
So much variety! Not only groceries, but a great seafood section, a meat department AND a delicatessen! They also have a station that makes hot food. They cook and sell breakfast from 7-10 am. And their bakery is
Until yesterday, I LOVED this place. I sent my best friends father to do some shopping due to being under the weather. Well, per usual, the deli messes up my order, I send him back the next morning to straighten it out. 3 managers, 1 of which he said was the head honcho and a check out lady..later, he's told he's talking too loud and they don't tolerate that behavior. FIRSTLY... he's deaf in one ear. SECONDLY... telling me I can go to " Market Basket" if I don't like it is EXACTLY what's wrong with people today! Where is the accountability? Responsibility? Apologies and just making it right and then saying, " Have a good day." Where did it go, people? I've been a LOYAL & PATIENT customer for over 15 years. You people find it necessary to pick on an 83 year old, half deaf man!!! Is that what makes you feel good about yourselves? SHAME, SHAME ON YOU!!!

Your deli has been lacking for a very long time, and that's a reflection of you. But let's pick on a deaf old man who didn't want 35% less sodium cheese but Land O' Lakes regular, white American . I know..it's a tough one.

The day Hannaford decided to stop baking the 'Country Style Italian' bread, was surely the day they stopped selling 'a lot of bread'. There's 'no' other similar bread I will buy there. Funny how it has been three occasions so far that I've had conversation with others at the bread section while checking to see if yet the item has returned and they same the same thing! . . . and they too walked away empty handed! Great that they stopped slicing it, but now they went ahead and shot themselves in the foot
I was trying to get a snack after the gym and didn’t realize the store was closed. Instead of nicely saying we’re closed (or even letting me try the doors only to realize they’re locked), they told me to “get, get out. Let’s go” in a very rude and condescending tone while I walked away. Normally I wouldn’t write about this, but if I did this at my job I would get fired, so this rude behavior is unacceptable in my eyes. I will not be coming back
Went by the cheese shop today, and they were in the middle of remodel I spoke to Holly and was asking her for a couple different cheeses she then went out of her way to walk to the other end of the store to get them for me. I was so great full, then I realized I needed marcona almonds, so I went back to see Holly, she even took the time to open the fresh bag and weigh them out for me!!! Awesome customer service!
Finally they're repainting, renovating and replacing the dim store lighting in this place. It's been dumpy for quite awhile. They still need more focus on cleaning shelving in the dairy cases. The milk carts and floors shouldn't have dried milk flakes all over them. Try taking this stuff out back and washing with hot water! Disgusting.
Poor training or poor management. Ordered a steak and cheese sub and was told we could not add mushrooms because it was against the recipe & management said to follow the recipes. The person at the counter was helpful and just doing their job - they also referenced me to Diego the manager to ask permission (who I couldn’t find), but it felt that the employees have not been empowered to create solutions
This place very likely steals credit card information. Here is my reasoning.
If you go to the self checkout, the cameras, which record everything, are focused on the credit card reader. They record your pins, card information, and anything else they need to steal your information.
This is the only store i have seen set up this way and for that exact reason. Most stores recognize it is unlawful to record / skim card details.
I’d advise blocking the camera during the transaction.

Only went in for 1 reason. They had Bone in ribeye for $6.99 a pound. The butchers were phenomenal.They actually took out a full Rib and cut all my steaks out of it. Not once but twice in one week. I.
Bought twenty eight steaks. To the butcher's behind the counter.Thank you so much and you are so polite and helpful.
This store is under renovation in the front part of the store. But found no problem getting around. It is a nice clean store with wide aisles. I have only been in this store twice as it's convenient for a quick stop on my way home. Plenty of staff to help you find what you need. I do find their prices higher than my usual Market Basket. But for a quick stop for 1 or 2 items its great. They have self check out which makes it even faster!.
I generally like this Hannaford - it's usually quite busy, so the selection is usually pretty fresh. But they'll randomly completely close the deli or hot food section for unexplained reasons. They're doing some remodeling right now so it's a bit rough around the edges.
The biggest thing I dislike is that they've doubled down on self checkout at this location. There are more self-checkouts than there are staffed lanes by a factor of 3x or 4x. And the self checkouts all have cameras watching your every move. Today I was "flagged" for putting my own reusable bag on the stupid scale. Way to make your customers feel like criminals! This alone pushes me to shop at Market Basket instead.
Pharmacy specifically - The people are really nice.
The prices are better than CVS - but the computer systems and their processes need improvement. I go there for price, but am prepared to wait longer than the larger chains.
Since they updated their to go parking, it now takes on average 20 plus minutes to get your order. Even if you are within you order window. Additionally, a lot of the substitute items aren’t great and I would recommend getting your own produce. That whole mess aside,
Hannaford is my ideal for groceries. Great selection and quality for the price!
Don't buy anything from this refrigerator. 90% of the food you buy from this refrigerator is going to be bad because the refrigerator. Does not hold temperature. Whenever I buy something from here. I have to return it because it's moldy or went bad.
This has been like this for years.
I've shopped Hannaford for years. Well stocked stores and they look good too. Great butcher and seafood sections. They just reorganized their checkout areas and now have 15 self-checkouts! My only complaint is that since Covid, their prices have skyrocketed. While I know prices have gone up everywhere, it seems that Hannaford's have gone up exponentially higher than other stores. I'm willing to pay more for a nice store that provides a higher grade product, but I do have my limits.
The bakery did an amazing job on my son's bday cake!! I did an online order for in store pickup. Wrote down what I wanted and theme and it came out amazing. I purchased the figurine elsewhere but overall, a great experience with my first bakery order online. Will def be ordering from them from now on.
Consistently undercooked muffins from the bakery...please learn how to properly cook muffins. Sprinkling cinnamon on top does not equate to shorter bake times needed nor browning cinnamon equate to properly baked muffins. (They used to be good).
3 stars because the rest of the store is good, but your muffin man brings you down.
This is my favorite place to shop for Groceries... Awesome Produce/Meats/Bakery/Gourmet + Wine/Cheeses etc.
Off of Exit 6 Broad St .. Coliseum Ave. near Lincoln Park and Mine Falls Park trailheads.. finished at the Park? Go fuel up at Hannaford's.
Reasonably priced. Ample Selection of Food Items. Good Generic Product Line.
Prices are a bit higher for some things compared to others like market basket, but they occasionally have specials that make them even cheaper. A clean store with good people. The stir fry and other options at the food bar are good... Provided you get one of the good staff behind it. Some of them are definitely better than others. All around a pretty good experience with a few select occasions.
I love this Hannaford. Their deli is just... great. There's always 3-4 people back there, with no shortage of clean slicers, and getting exactly what you want in a hurry is never an issue, even at 5am, which is when I'm usually rolling through there.
