The two woman who work in the Greeting Center Pay Center scale Center are amazing and should be rewarded for it . Appreciate their customer service. Nashua is lucky to have them.
Jeff Lafleur and the Nashua Solid Waste Department Team are phenomenal. I’ve benefited from their outstanding work for 24 years and it’s high time that I covey my experiences using the Nashua Solid Waste Landfill. One person of note is Carla Thibodeau, a Team Member who mans the Weigh Station. I won’t go into detail about Carla’s work; it’s sufficient to say that she along with her colleagues have provided some of the best customer service that I’ve ever encountered.
Hats off to the Nashua Solid Waste Department Team and the incredible work they do on behalf of Greater Nashua.

They picked up my recycle containers, two of them, emptied the contents , and dropped them right on top of my flowering bleeding heart. There was plenty of green grass all around but they chose to crush my flowers. How heartless. Why not leave them on the curb?
Super friendly and helpfull staff. Cant believe this is city govt! The lady who runs the scales and the main office contact lady were awesome! Quickly helped me get new bins. The manager who drove to my residence and delivered these as well as pick up an old huge tire.great guy! Great department. Thank you
Perfectly fine bunch of folks in my experience. No problems with pick up in all the years I've been in Nashua. And the dump/landfill site is easy enough to get to for things that won't make it curbside. They do allow special/custom pick ups, which I've never used, but could save someone the need to borrow/rent a truck for larger items.
Trash man didn’t pick up our trash can for some unknown reason. Emailed the department with no response. Called 10 times and of those calls, all during business hours, only 3 were answered. Was told they’d be back to pick up my trash. 3 days later my trash can is still full at the end of my driveway and the city won’t send anyone to get it, even though I pay absurd monthly taxes to this city. They just take our money and tell us to “calm down” when issues arise. Customer service training would go a long way here.
