My fiancé brought his Passat in to PB this week. The customer service was excellent, they were able to squeeze him in on a Friday, which was very busy. He brought his car in not knowing the issue and was hoping it wasn’t going to be an expensive fix. PB was thorough and honest in their diagnostics, which ended up being a bent rim. A lot of garages will try to sell you on unnecessary repairs but PB did not. They gave my fiancé the number of a garage that specializes in rim repair. While he was there, they gave him an oil change at a very competitive price. We will definitely be taking our VWs to be serviced at PB in the future and would recommend to a friend.
Pb European Service did a solid job repairing my Audi A6. Their rates are very reasonable and the work is thorough. Their focus is on auto repair. You won't get a fancy waiting lounge and the job may take a little extra time to complete, but they try hard to accommodate with a courtesy vehicle and an honest view on the necessary scope of the repair.
Trust is so important when selecting someone to work on your car. Especially when it’s a car you’re passionate about and not just transportation. Doug and the rest of the group here are just as passionate about what they do and are among a very rare subset of organizations you can simultaneously trust to do good work and give good advice. They are deeply knowledgeable about VW and Audi group vehicles and a fair broker on costs and expectations.
I also really like that I get to deal with a family buisness and a proprietor with his hands literally in the work. Humble, honest, trustworthy and doing great work. This is the only place I let work on our GTI. As evidenced by how busy they are, you can’t go wrong selecting them to work on your car too.

Our 1.8T 2004 Passat had a lean code for more than two years. I was told by our regular mechanic to scrap the car as the repair would cost thousands. Instead I took it to Pb European Service (based on the strong recommendation of two other friends who know cars) and Doug found the problem immediately. He also fixed an exhaust problem along with several other issues, including an oil leak, that had been recurring for a long time. The car runs like new! And the cost for these repairs was far less than I expected (and significantly less than the amount quoted by our other mechanic).
The key with VW’s (and Audi’s), it seems, is to find the right mechanic. Doug Pauly is that guy! I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars! Thanks!!
Almost exactly a year ago I had the turbo replaced in my '13 A4 (2.0T). Started getting the dreaded P0299 code, intermittently at first, then full-on. A little investigating and I found I had a failed wastegate assembly. Fun. After having a pretty direct and honest discussion with these guys, mostly around "what should I do with a 137k mile car and failed turbo?", I opted for keeping the car and replacing the turbo with a new OEM part. I'm so glad I went down this path! Inevitably a few other issues popped up (water pump, CV axle, etc), but Alexis and the crew kept me updated and stated all my options. I spent more than I had wanted to initially, but I now once again have an extremely solid A4, which I have confidently passed to my kids to drive. 154k now and still going strong. If you're considering work here, don't hesitate!
This shop is hands down the best shop in the area for modern VW and Audi vehicles. They won’t rip you off, and their work is top notch. They have been helping me for years. It’s a family owned business, and everyone is kind and welcoming. They’re a good business, and they’re good people.
I have been taking VW wagons to PB European for several years now. I rely on them for excellent maintenance work and also good judgement. After my car had been to the dealer recently, the dealer had commented on an engine oil leak that I had noticed as well. They also quoted $2,000 to fix it. My initial thought had been to keep an eye on it, but now I wasn't sure if this was a bigger issue, or an early warning sign that could cause something bigger down the line. Doug took a look at this (my intent was to have a diagnosis and a quote for the repair). He let me know that this was the slightest of leaks, and not an indication of something wrong- in fact pretty expected with these engines. This was something to deal with down the line but not at all a reason to do major engine surgery right now. And then he wouldn't even charge me a diagnostic fee for taking a look. I can't recommend PB Euro enough.
Car was a 2013 Audi A5 that needed a steering shaft and rack, recommended I do the timing belt at the same time, the owner also noticed my oil pan was damaged and put that in with no labor cost. Couldn’t be happier with the service.
If I could give Pb European Service 100 stars I would! Everything from their customer service to the service on my vehicle was amazing. I would recommend them to any Audi owner. I know I'll definitely be returning for future services on my Audi!

I Brought my recently purchased 2011 Audi A4 in for some diagnosing of issues I thought I was having. The lady who runs the front desk was wonderful and awesome to work with . Took the extra step to get all the info I had about my issues. fully explained everything that was going on and the procedures they took to make sure my vehicle was in good running order . Highly recommend to anyone in need of any Audi or Volkswagon service or diagnosing !

I have a 09 VW Touareg that badly needed both flex pipes cut out and new ones welded in. I checked quite a few places and no one could let me know if they'd do it Doug took great care of me and the car is basically silent while running now. I will be back if/when I need more work done. He definitely knows his stuff.

Doug has been there for us over the years whenever it's needed. We have three cars that he’s serviced over the years and has been honest and up front with all the repairs. He won’t sell you anything that’s not needed, if it’s borderline he just says “Just drop it off when you have the time" or "We can replace it when we do the inspection”.

When I first walked into PB European last year, I knew i had found a mechanic that I could trust and that would talk to me in “real people” terms. Doug and his wife made me feel comfortable and the turn around time on repairs has always been super fast. Immediately Doug knew what was wrong when I described a “clunk” sound in the front of my car, that had been previously diagnosed as a $700 repair. It was a loose steering wheel that he fixed free of charge. Additionally, I had a water pump replaced. The part was faulty and Doug honored his warranty with no questions asked. I HIGHLY recommend the knowledge and service that Pb European brings to the table.
I drove over an hour to have my VW GTI's turbocharger replaced here as opposed to the VW dealership in Keene and I was not disappointed. I felt that Doug went out of his way to accommodate my schedule and my needs for a loaner car. What a pleasure it was to do business with a skilled mechanic that cares about customers. I would recommend servicing your vehicle here even if it's out of your way!

I was lucky to find these guys in Nashua when I moved back to the area and was looking for a new mechanic to help keep my 2001 Audi A-6 on the road. Doug has provided expert advice and service on 2 separate occasions. They are very honest and reasonable about costs and the work is awesome. They even gave me a loaner car for a couple of days when I needed to keep my car there overnight. I would highly recommend taking your car here.

Doug was great! Prior to coming to PB European service, I went to two other mechanic shops who could not fix my cars problem. They all told me to go to a VW dealership, but I was reluctant to pay the cost of a dealership service shop. So I called Doug. He was fantastic! He diagnosed the issue and explained how to solve the problem in an understandable manner. I was extremely impressed in Doug’s communication skills, patients and problem solving skills. I would definitely recommend PB auto to anyone.
