Excessive price for an oil change. All other dealers charge under $130 and I paid $194. I am a local and have been many times but this is my last visit

Thank you Steve! I’m an older female- not accustomed to car maintenance. My husband established auto care at this company. I now turn to them for all car care/maintenance as my husband did - but now they have taught me how to change fob batteries & where the windshield washer fluid goes and have changed my wiper blades after an ice storm. Who knew? But now I know!

Went in for a safety check but found brakes were needed. They didn’t right away. Great job.

Guys at Auto Care Plus were great. My 2nd time using them. First visit was front axel replaced. Got lower estimate than dealer. Today was Safety Check, no issues, my Subaru has hit 150K miles. No list of suggested problems or upselling. I went to Wolfeboro NH location.

Mechanic Josh is top-shelf! Always been honest and straightforward with me regarding my 20yo vehicle. I have been going to AutoCare Plus for 9yrs now-and trust Josh implicitly with my vehicles! I have good reason. I’ve had to take my vehicle to its dealer for recalls, and every time leave with the same print-out suggestions I receive from Josh and AutoCare Plus. Nothing more, nothing less!

Personal attention given to customers each time. They take great care of our family vehicles.

My service was good, however I fell in your parking lot on an area that was not sanded. I told the man at the desk. No one asked how I was doing, or offered to make sure I got to my car safely. I ended up in the ER after. Would have appreciated some better customer service and consideration.

Moved to the area about a year ago and wanted to bring my car in for routine maintenance closer to my home. Let me tell you that I am blown away by how great the service is here. I brought my car in for an oil change and it took no joke only 20 mins! I can not tell you the last time that has happened if ever. Aside from the fast service the staff in the Wolfeboro NH location are very professional and super friendly. I also had my car inspected at this location and again very quick in and out service. I highly recommend taking your vehicle here for any of your service and maintenance needs, they won't disappoint!

My truck failed inspection due to ball joints, with repair covered under my extended warranty. Autocare + worked with the Mopar warranty people so I didn’t have to drive to a Ram dealership for repair. Very accommodating and prompt appointment once warranty details were ironed out.

Oil change and tire rotation. Took an hour and 45 mins. Also tried to charge more than agreed to. Website says $49.99 for synthetic oil change. Plus $25 for tire rotation. Also website had $25 off for first visit. All this during scheduling. Go to check out and they want $125. Umm nope. Should be $50 total. False advertising. Poor service. Rip off scam shop.

First visit to auto care. Prompt professional and efficient. They identified and fixed the issue. Will definitely be back

I brought a car in for a pre-purchase inspection and had an excellent experience. The staff were professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They accommodated us on short notice and performed a thorough, detailed inspection. Highly recommend this shop for anyone looking for honest and quality service!

Auto Care Plus Wolfeboro took care of my vehicle when the check engine light came on. They got me in, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in a reasonable time frame. Thank you so much!

Excellent and friendly service from the team! Matt at the front desk was extremely helpful and ensured all issues with my car were addressed!

The alternator in our Traverse died on my wife and two young daughters while they were on vacation in NH and unfortunately I was stuck 4 hrs away and unable to help. I called Auto Care Plus and spoke with Matt and explained the situation. Even though they were insanely busy he made time to help us out that same afternoon and in a few hours my wife’s car was fixed and panic adverted. I’m very appreciative of the response and service we received. Especially when I know how busy and understaffed most places are these days. MASSIVE Thankyou to the crew at Auto Care Plus.

Visiting from PA I desperately needed tire service. The staff did a superb job of finding, getting, installing a new tire. And straightening the rim so I didn’t have to replace that. The cost was quite reasonable too! Pleasant experience after a flat on the interstate could have dampened my visit to NH!

Outstanding customer service! Went in for an oil check and Matthew took time to show my son how to check his oil and keep his car running. He went above and beyond to take care of our vehicle and us!

Worst car mechanic experience ever. Needed alignment “misquoted” my daughter by 100 that she had repeated back to them the lower price and they confirmed -then broke a pin during the serviced added to cost of pin and labor to fix -then they accidentally punctured the tire wall so now had to replace tires there ( knew would soon need tires but had planned to go elsewhere) and today just a few weeks later tire is leaking daughter stuck in Concord not able to find air machine that was functioning thankfully Midas willing to put air in for us to discover the hub cap had been put on wrong no doubt during the putting on the new tires ( as no other work on car since) and it broke the valve and stem and therefore needed new sensor so out another 119 dollars to fix yet another of their mistakes. Never again and I will be sharing the horrible experience with as many people as possible to hopefully prevent anyone else having to deal with such craziness

Great experience. They got me in same day and patched a nail in my tire. Matt who worked on my truck did a great job and was easy to work with.

Had soft pedal issues on my truck (2005 Toyota Tundra), so I went to my trusted local Auto Care Plus in Wolfeboro, since I had a positive experience with the compamy in the past. They diagnosed the issue as "rusted brake lines" on one of the rear lines, and quoted me at around 600$. I asked them to check again, since I thought it needed a shoe adjustment, but they insisted its the brake lines. I naively thought that they know better and checked the brake system thoroughly, and I let them go ahead with the job (they replaced 2 short lines near the caliper). What a mistake! After the job was done and paid for, I hopped in the car and felt the same soft pedal. The issue was not resolved! So I went back, and told them about it. Guys at the desk told me "thats how Toyota trucks are, you should be fine" - which I know to not be true - and should have been told to me earlier if they believed so from the beginning. I then insisted on them checking the brake system again, and lo and behold - they said the shoes need adjustment, and that the rear coil springs need replacing (they were actually rusty), and was told they can't send me home with the rusty springs. This time I had to check it out myself, and insisted to the guy at the desk to let me see what work needs to be done this time. We went into the shop, and the (extremely professional) technician showed me exactly what he did, and intends to do the truck (the brake lines that were replaced didn't seem to leak anywhere, area was bone-dry). I could tell by talking to him he was very knowledgeable and competent, and I trusted his judgement at this time. Technician adjusted the shoes, replaced the coils and I was billed for about 600$ more for those repairs. I tried telling the manager about what just happened, but he insisted he can't deduct any of the bills for the misdiagnosed repairs, since they did the work (work that should have never been done). All in all, I paid around 1200$ for everything, and came out the other side with complete distrust and shock for how Auto Care Plus behave and treat their customers. To the great technician I talked to there - thank you! You were the only saving grace in this awful situation, and I hope you aren't the only competent person in the building. I love and take great care of my cars , so I'm never going back to Auto Care Plus after this - and you shouldn't either!

I brought my truck in for diagnosis and was charged 179 dollars for one hour of labor and was told this is their hourly rate. I highly recommended anywhere other than here as this is over double what other shops charge for labor. Even dealerships in the area will charge closer to 100 dollars an hour and if they’re more expensive than the dealership that should tell you right off that it’s a scam. Was also not impressed with their need to try to upsell unnecessary repairs, not just to me but with the other two customers that came through while I was waiting. First customer had an ac issue and they were already trying to tell him it was most definitely the compressor before they had even seen the car in the lot. Second came in for an oil change and they were trying to tell them all the repairs they need for state inspection and that they were due for state inspection when they only bought the car 7 days ago and state law is 10 days from registration. Don’t be fooled by the fact that they are AAA approved, maybe the mechanics are but the only thing the service advisor is approved for is eating.

Had a rather unpleasant experience. Waited over 2 hours just to get my car inspected and I had an appointment, made me pay just to fail my car and said it would be free after I fix the things in my car. They were rude and tried to tell me that a couple things on my car were wrong that I have already fixed. Won’t be returning so now I’m out $50 just to have wasted my day and lied to. All the reviews were so positive so I hope I just caught them in a bad day but it was bad enough I never wanna go back

I received incredible above and beyond the call of duty care from the personnel, especially Steve and Bailey. My 2007 Dodge Caravan bit the dust. The rear axle had 3 large cracks. they didn't even charge me for an estimate, knowing it was gonzo.I was able to leave it there for a few days until it was towed to the junkyard. Then when I found a used Honda they did an incredibly detailed job of determining what might need fixing. I was shocked when they even took me into the bay and showed me each issue. Then they did a great job fixing the most urgent things. Throughout yhey were kind, compassionate, patient, and trustworthy.

Autocareplus in Wolfboro installed a new tow hitch on a 2021Jeep Renegade car this week while we vacationed during the July 4th holiday. The physical hitch install worked well as well the wiring. What was disappointing was the electric connection, which is typically located on the exterior near the ball, was left inside the rear door hatch. Now Everytime we use it and close the door, there is the possibility of eventually breaking the wires. Grateful have this tool for towing the Jetski, I felt it is just another thing to fix myself. We won't be back. Sorry.

These guys were great and helped me out when I was in a jam! They even came out to help inflate my tire and get my car to the shop. Highly recommend and will be back!

They were kind...polite...helpful...did all they could to insure that we got home safely after we broke down on the way home. Tony, Marcy and Josh could not have done more to take better care of us...of our car....We will forever be grateful and would readily recommend your shop to everyone! I am Warren's wife, Francesca, and I wrote about the entire experience....I am sharing it with all of you: The unrest going on in the world.....the frightening way the need for power seems to have overtaken kindness...consideration....goodwill....can easily overshadow all else that might me going on.....Our trip home took an unexpected detour and a short trip became a long one sometimes full of doubt...fear...apprehension...but we were in for a gentle....beautiful..."awakening"..... Yesterday our car suddenly broke down.... I wrapped my red hooded cape around me looking around...stranded in Wolfeboro..... But there are no "wolfs" ready to bite.. only the heartwarming sincerity of strangers wanting to help.... They smiled and wished us well as we waited for the tow-truck.... One lady even offered her Triple A membership services.... There is goodness in the world.... I looked around and took stock of all that we needed to be grateful for: We broke down at a Circle K service station.... We had food inside...bathrooms....warmth... all putting the nearly 2-hour-wait in perspective... The Auto Care service people greeting us with warmth....hospitality....giving us a car while ours was fixed....and a promise was made that one way or another they would get us home....car fixed or their loaner.... Angels walk among us.... They insisted we get some lunch why they fervently worked to locate the right part to fix our "hurting" car.... Lunch was filled with more kindness as people engaged us in conversation.... welcomed us to their town....glad to meet us We were hugged and wished the best as we headed back to the garage.... There is much goodness in the world.... Hours later car is fixed.... and the thoughtful....kind....mechanic did more than fix the broken part wanting to make sure that the rest of our journey home would be safe...no more breaking down.... Angels walk among us... A long tiring day turned out to be one of the best in a doubtful journey home.... And at the end of the side detour all we could remember is the genuine kindness of strangers.... the help and assurance that all would be well....be would be OK... It was a truly magical day and miracles were all around.... Thank you to the people of Wolfeboro....to the blessings they showered us with....a wonderful reminder there is good in the world....and good people exist...remember....believe....hope....

If I could give zero stars I would. About a month ago I took a 1978 Doge into them and asked them to do the state inspection on it and give me a quote to fix anything that needed to be done in order to get the inspection sticker. The service advisor there gave me a call to tell me there was a lot to be done with the vehicle and would like to speak to me in person, he seemed to have my best interests in mind.. After reviewing the quote and the work to be done I asked the representative how long the work would take. Since I was looking to have the vehicle as soon as possible and expressed this explicitly. The advisor responded that they could get all the parts the following day if I could pay upfront for the parts, once they had the parts it would only take a few days for the work to be done, working Friday and Saturday, he expected the vehicle to be ready on Tuesday morning and would keep me updated as to the progress. On Tuesday I had not heard from them, so called for an update. They told me that the vehicle was not ready, as some of the parts they ordered were incorrect. When asking for an update on time the advisor told me that he would speak to the technician and call me back in an hour. I never received a call. Chasing them up again I was told that he had not received an update and thus had not called, he said he would have to check with the team in the morning and get back to me. The morning came and I did not hear anything, thus I called them up again and got a similar story , that he'd check with the technicians and give me an update. Again I did not hear back from him. This continued for three weeks, each time I called I was given a similar excuse about the parts they ordered being incorrect and having to order them again but that they should be there in the next couple hours and they would call me and give me an update. Finally I gave up on phone and started going to speak to them in person, still I got strung along. Eventually I said enough and told them that the car had to be ready by the close of play and I would not accept anything else. They managed to get the car "done" and handed it over to me. Though still without a sticker as they said it had some rust spots that needed to be done before they could pass it. This despite the advisor telling me that they could get someone in to do this work when I originally spoke to them. Since it was late Friday on labor day weekend, I was unable to do anything but called a body shop and to arrange having the work done. The quote was to get he vehicle inspection ready, which it is far from. They charged me over $300 to replace the horn and in the process of replacing it seem to have broken the indicators. They were meant to have done alignment and replace and repair the suspension, including new shocks, which was in the quote and I have been charged for but they have not done the work correctly, making an excuse that the conversion on the vehicle makes it sit too low, this being a blatant lie as the original conversion on these vehicles adjusted for this. Having driven the vehicle to the auto body shop and discussed the rust which they are currently repairing, I can tell the work was not completed up to standard. To top it off the Auto Care advisor called me this morning to tell me an additional item needed to pass inspection, the rear bumper on the vehicle, which I explicitly discussed with him when I first took the vehicle in. Update: Since posting this review Auto Care plus has worked with me to resolve the issues at hand and refunded me the cost of the bumper and some of their labour costs. I worked with their team in Portland on some issues and was very satisfied with the treatment I received there.
