I had a friend get a car from the a few weeks ago and the owner said that the car was in good running condition , 4 days later he had to take it to a mechanic and he put out 3 thousand dollars for a new transmission and a few other parts that were bad on his car ... This business is not trustworthy of there promises ... I do not recommend this place to anyone else , plus he's doing shady deals on the side with questionable people ...
this is the worst place i have been lately ...this yard use to be so quick to get tou out of here happy and fast but this last time i got here friday and they didnt load me because there was no appointment spaces at all so friday i got at the yard at 10 am so i talk to them tell them that i was supposed to get my cars on thursday but the truck broke down so i didnt make it till friday but no spaces available so they tell me they might be able to load me during the day but the forklift driver was so slow that by 3 30 pm he tell me he would not be able to load me out so i have to pay storage and hotel for the weekend and by the time i try to make appointments on friday i only could get 1 at 3 pm 2 at 3 30 pm and 2 at 4 pm ...and now 2 pm and looks like probably im going to be here till late because forklift dryver is already behind schedule ...worst place i ever been
I drove 3 hours to this copart location after speaking to one of the staff members a few days before on the phone. The staff was nice but I drove the 3hrs and waited 3hrs in the office to see one vehicle. I asked multiple times when would the loader driver be able to bring it to the preview lot and they said soon every time. It reached 4 o'clock and I asked again, they spoke to the loader driver on the radio and he said he was too busy! There was barely any tow trucks picking up vehicles. I don't understand how they could be so poorly staffed that I had to wait 3hrs for one vehicle and never got to see it. WORST COPART THERE IS
Scheduled a pickup with this COPART office after my RV was totaled. They missed the appointment and proceeded to tell me they, in fact, had to schedule a third party agency to come pick up the vehicle because they misidentified the make and model despite receiving the vin and exact make and model from both insurance and myself. Had to take time of work twice - unacceptable. Only two stars because the person working the dispatch call desk was extremely polite and helpful.
Bought cars from this location multiple times, recently bought a honda civic and damage in the ad was only in the rear, when the car was delivered to me there was extensive damage on the front. When confronted, we found out it was the forklift driver who slanted the car and dropped it. Absolutely ridiculous.

They won't allow me to pick up my item, while I was being charged storage fees, claiming that I need an appointment. I went and there was no line no people waiting. They invented the appointment just to rip off people eith storage fees.
Bought a ford raptor with stolen shocks and metal pipe in place. A huge scam. The auction did not care to note and the buyers know in the ad. Paid 20k for this. Stay away
With the hidden commissions that Copart has added to the terrible Shipping service that they force you to use, it is the worst experience I had. Extremely expensive and the delivery guy threw my car on the avenue 4 blocks from my house and left after insulting me when I asked him to come to my house where he had placed the delivery to be completed. I would give it zero stars
Same as every Copart, an absolute joke, I really wish IAA would step up their game and give these clowns a little competition. Don’t care, won’t help at all, and could give a s’’’ less about anything.
They are polite but following advance extortion system. Posted my bike for sale , they asked 80$ to post. After 3 months not sold , they asked me near 400$(30$/each run) , the agent is good with me, he made it 229$!!. I went to pickup , they said we don’t accept CC! Multi million $ company!, I gave them 300$ cash, they said we don’t have change! Go to city and get excact cash/ cashier check!

DO not recommend. I sold a BMW X5 SUV at auction in Reno.. I told them to sell absolute. After a few months of never getting a check, they tell me they ran it like 20 times and charged me for each run, and with seller fees they said I would not be receiving any $ for my vehicle. Not even a dollar on my rust free, clean, running and driving 2005 BMW X5. I also bought a boat on Copart in Iowa last year..my bid was $3000. They send me an invoice for OVER $4000. Thats right, $1000 in buyers fees for a $3000 boat. That is madness, I would avoid this company all together. Still have not got my $400 bid deposit back either. I think this company is screwing the buyer and seller so badly. Find another auction company to deal with. There are several out there
These people are not worth their weight in salt. Was sent to move a 27ft travel toy hauler during a snow storm. No one in the office knew what was going on. No one wanted to help me lift the trailer due to their failure to notify us that the hitch jack was damaged. I had to drive 30 minutes to get proper equipment for their failure of information.
I would trust a kindergarten class with this business than the adults that work there. A bunch of jokes that are more worried about their lunch breaks or makeup than running an establishment
Little irritated they opened the wi down to our truck and left it down. Snow got all inside.we told them we were there for the plates and they sent us all the way up to find the truck only to have no plates on it. We go back and the lady we just spoke to said "oh yeah we take those off" then they couldn't find it. Still have yet to find it.
I originally scheduled my pickup for one day in the afternoon, they called back the next day to tell me earliest was the day after, and only scheduled all day times. Then the driver showed up a day early with 15 minutes of warning (not the hour I was told).
When I called they'd quoted me one amount, then showed up telling me it was a less amount (not because of the car). No one answered when driver called to clarify.
Use another company. There's more out there, my mistake was choosing this one. They don't pay you the amount agreed on (it's never authorized), don't seem to know their schedules, and can't communicate with each other. This company is a mess. Go elsewhere.
Not at all helpful after purchasing. The item we purchased is missing parts and no one here at copart will assume responsibility. And just TRY to get some assistance loading what you purchased. Once they have your money you are, and I quote, " on your own ".
Was in an accident that did damage to the front of the car. When at copart getting something out of my car I noticed a deep scratch on back bumber, and part around hitch out of place. This was not there before, no damage before the accident. I'm sure this doesn't happen often, but I will have to file a seperate claim and probably pay a deductible to have this fixed. I will update when can.
They gave us the best price on a car that was totalled in an accident, offered to pick it up from the scene and they paid us 30% more than the top 2 local Salvage parts lots offered! We had it towed to them so they gave us extra cash since we brought it in ourselves. Done within an hour of arriving due to their great software and we didn't have Title in hand but they found it on record and we dropped it off two days later. Great experience, don't waste your time calling the other local "pick a part" type lots
As a guy who lives for this kind of thing among others like it, this is the place. It's open to the public with limited access to the yard but they hold weekly auctions and Phoenicia & staff are always a perk when dropping off wreckage as a commercial driver.
so I went up there where my car was stored after the accident. I went to pick up something that was very sentimental to me a pillow that my son had before he died in his car accident in October. It was stolen. And some jewelry and my change out of there was all stolen. While I was there another gentleman came to retrieve his items out of his car that he was in an accident with. He had a candle in his car that was stolen so watch out for Copart. If you ever get in an accident try not to have your car towed to Copart. Just as a disclaimer also could have been the tow company that stoled my property. Just really sad and angry because the pillow couldn't have meant anything to anybody else but because it had like Freddy Krueger and the mummy and a few other monster type pictures on it. Someone decided to take it. So in my opinion Copart should check there records to see who towed the car if their guys didn't take it then the tow company people are taking it get some reliable people who aren't going to steal from people who are already in distress over there car being wrecked.
Bought three things from them. 2 cars and a large boat. Seams like each time ( all different locations) Mississippi, Georgia, Reno, so far had problems with what I bought..
This place is a joke its all a inside deal if you watch how this works. Got to hire a broker to bid. Go to yard to look a car leave work early web site says 500 get there they say no only till 4 for viewing but your web site says 5 yesh but we only go till 4 if you cant make it hire a inspector to look at it. So take the risk go through broker its auction time and i feel confident that i will get this perfrct car for me i was high bidder through prelimary by alot and i couldnt see anyone paying more than what i bid cause i bid a little high. Well here it is 4 min till its over brokers site wont let me open vehicle page so cant see whats going on cant up bid nothing so i jump to coparts site 2 min left and it says starting bid 7000. What starting exactly 100 over my max 2700 higher than last price at prelims and i cant bid cause i need to do it on brokers page and then broker is saying something is wrong with there site and i watch count down and not one single bid. Very odd how someone just happened to nail it just over high bid and no one else bids and odd how the site justed started not letting open up page. Seems like someone let their buddy in on the high bid so the could out bid them. To many hoops to jump through to buy a wrecked car.
