SCAMMERS! DO NOT SELL HERE! Piece of garbage business. I gave a friend of mine a car when I was moving and he sold it to these idiots. The car was never taken out of my name and they re-sold it to someone who abandoned it without registering. Now I'm on the hook with the towing company for over $1000. Don't do business with these shady people unless you would like it to haunt you for the next few years. Thanks Planet!
I had a terrible experience with this company. They lost my paperwork multiple times, were rude and give the Reno auto industry a bad name. Trust me, go elsewhere.
Not as big as that other place (pick your nose) however they have a great selection and always getting new inventory and the prices are GREAT! All the employee's are really nice and helpful. I showed up 20 minutes before closing and they were very nice and welcoming. Pretty sure they will put that other place out of business. Thank you to all the employee's you have earned all my business

The prices are great and the staff is friendly the location is awesome which is good because in order to find out what they have you actually have to go there in person
Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. May not be as large as the other place in sparks but the picking has been way better in my experience.

Update: i visited planet auto for the first time today and wow im impressed friendly employees and free admission with cars that are not overly picked and well set out.
Love the location as all the cars still even have their wheels on them! The yard is clean and abundant with unique pieces for vehicles. Staff is epic and their engine hoists are clean
The yard is a little small, but you don't pay for admission so if they don't have the model your looking for you are not out anything. Their parts cross reference lookup is great. You tell it what year, make, model, and part your looking for and it will tell you all the year make and models that same part was available on.
Visited for the first time on Saturday. The yard is extremely clean and and the equipment is nice and functional (no flat tire wheel-barrows like pick-n-pull).
While the yard is smaller, the vehicles are of a much higher quality as well. Most have straight body panels and clean interiors. It isn't like their competitor with badly wrecked and roll over vehicles, filled with trash. Additionally, it seems like they have plenty of room to grow which would lead me to believe that they'll be getting even more inventory in the future. Overall, I was extremely impressed and will absolutely be shopping here for now on. Also, shout-out to Chris for helping me get the axle I pulled into my car!
After people at multiple autozones, orielys, advanced auto, and pep boys thought I was an idiot, needing a return hose for power steering reservoir on my cousins '02 Mazda tribute. They all said I was dead wrong. Went to planet auto Sunday morning at 8 a.m. found an escape, same year, same engine etc and pulled the hose off, 3 whole dollars later my cousin is getting to work again. Super happy this placed opened here.
Way clean, and really well organized.
Won"t answer the phone when called for a price on a part. Left a message and did not get a return phone call. Called again 3 hrs later still no answer went to voice mail again and still no return call. It would be nice to have a price list available on line.
Free admission, good inventory. Only complaint I have is maybe the organization of the cars? But when you're constantly changing inventory I can only imagine it's not exactly easy. Overall, better than pick n pull
