Happened upon this place after waste management said they couldnt take my sheet metal scraps (said they had too much of it?.) I wasn't trying to make any money i just needed to get rid of what i had. Also if i had recycled with waste management they would've charged me for it so i was happy getting any amount of money. The couple i met there were very cool.
Prices are not always the best but you know what. They're the ones that are open when everyone else is closed. Friendly staff. Good people. Highly recommend them. They're fair and they don't mind answering your questions, so give them a try. Excellent people!!!
They have ALWAYS been very kind and very friendly to me . I have been going to these Wonderful people since I started recycling and have stuck by these people because they have stuck by me. This Family has literally saved my family by helping us time and time again. Thank you CG .
I'll give them one star for being open on the weekend. Other than that they don't pay very good. They are also selective in what types of stuff they will take. I wouldn't go there unless you really have to.
They might not pay as much as other places but they are open on Sunday and always so friendly if you need help they will help they are like family will never go to another place thank you my friends
They say they take steel but when I went there they would not take anything and when I called to find out why they just said they don't accept it and I asked why again they just said we don't accept it so I asked I said well your sign says you take radiators and steel and that's what I have and he just said sorry and hung up
My experience here is if you can, go somewhere else. You should only sell your metal here if You have no other options they paid me about 1/3 the going rate for brass bronze and copper. And they paid me about 1/5 of the going rate for lead. I came in with a very small amount just to test the waters and see how they would treat me and even though I called him out on offering me one price for two separate types of metals he completely ignored what I was saying and gave me bare minimum prices for higher quality metal like I said don't come here unless it's your only option.
They don’t buy catalytic converters like one review says and they going rate for Copper is 150 and all they gave was .50 cents a pound I’m sure there are better offers elsewhere which I will check out next time
5 stars just cause they are actually open on Sundays. Did I mention they paid in cash? Hopefully that doesn't get anyone in trouble in this electronic age.
Man these guys boned me on some bare bright. Had 90lbs and got 185 bucks ... What a joke, no one knew english after I started asking where the rest of the money was. And I didn't even get a receipt?! WTH never going there again!
If your really in a pinch they are there. Other wise I would not go to them. They pay really low on all metals. I have felt cheated but they are, there and open. I'm sure the extra man hours. Must be why.
Haven't been to a scrap yard in 10+ years, so idk prices at all.... Went to Reno recycling and was offered $5 for items I got $125 for at CG METAL.....only place I'll ever go to!!
The best place to take your metals it's quick and these guys stay open till 5 and open on weekends too and if you're running little behind they'll stay ok pen if you call and let them know you're on your way
Now this is my kind of place..very professional & polite personnel, nopaperwork to fill out, its all business here. You're in - you're out. And they give you a fair & honest rate on whatever you bring in. You name it, they take it...& they'll give you ca$h. You cannot lose! And they ARE open Saturdays&Sundays.
