Great experience with CalNevada/Lovelock and driver Mike. Arrived on time (very quick) and quote was much lower than competitors. They were able to accommodate a tow for a 3/4 ton truck and 30 ft travel trailer no problem. (Which is hard to find sometimes) AAA was going to leave us stranded because their service provider was “out of town” and Cal-Nevada came through for us. Mike was very knowledgeable and honest and actually saved us a bunch of money. We had thought we had a problem with a wheel bearing but it turned out to be the tire separating. Thanks Cal-Nevada and thanks Mike.

I broke down in Orovada, Nevada with a semi and trailer. Matt was phenomenal. He called with an eta, and showed up right when he said he would. He towed me back to Boise, Idaho. He is a great guy and easy to talk to. I hope to not need a tow ever again, but if I do, Matt is the guy to call!

Mike is the MAN! If I could give this business a bajillion stars and my hypothetical firstborn child, I would in a heartbeat. After impulsively deciding to embark on a mini road trip to a ghost town about twenty minutes away from Winnemucca, my car got stuck in some nasty mud. Mind you, I was driving a Toyota Corolla so how did I even think that was going to end well??? Anyways, after frantically playing footsie with both the gas and brake for about half an hour and dry heaving for what seemed like an eternity, I got in touch with the local sheriff in town who transferred me over to Cal-Nevada Towing. Rosie/Rosa (sorry girl, I was panicking so I didn’t catch which name it was) was sooo patient with me over the phone. My trust issues had me calling several times thinking I was stranded for good and no one was going to drive out to what felt like the middle of nowhere/miles away from civilization Nevada.. but she was just so understanding. Mike drove out from Lovelock (about an hour away?) and not only got my car out of the mud quickly, but was also so helpful/understanding of the situation. He must’ve realized how stressed out I was and not only made sure I had enough fuel to get back to Reno but also gave me a few suggestions nearby to get some food/snacks and to just wind down. Mike showed up promptly I wasn't kept waiting needlessly. He took total control of the situation and offered me water and said to just have a seat in his truck while he loaded vehicle. Great experience, especially for someone like me who drives for a living and and uses tow services far more than I'd like. UPS drivers appreciate this kinda service

Giswold family vacation breakdown. After being stuck outside of Lovelock NV for nearly 6 hours awaiting AAA service, I cancelled AAA as they could not provide roadside towing for my vehicle and kids. I called Cal-Nevada towing and they were immediately responsive and had a driver (Mike), who responded with a crew cab rollback, after he only had a few hours of sleep. Mike was knowledgeable and definitely had over 20 years experience. He got my truck dropped off at a shop and us at a local hotel in Sparks. He shared my frustration with AAA service in the are and got rid of my worry of being stuck on the side of the road during an out of state trip. Mike, you were more helpful than words buddy. After hitting a road hazard had a leaking differential. Got off I-80 at Rye Patch. After back and forth calls to AAA and waiting 5.5 hrs they said they were unable to tow me. Mike and his wife from Cal/Neva towing got me, my dog and cat off the road and into Lovelock for the night. In the morning after back and forth conversations with AAA they were unable to tow me into Reno for repair. Mike to the rescue again. He was courteous, efficient and knowledgeable. Can’t say enough good things about the work Mike and Cal/Neva towing did to get me off the road and my car into a repair shop. Will always be grateful.

This was with out any doubt the best experience I have ever had with a tow service. Where do I even start, my driver "mikey" was incredible, I had been driving for 2 hours on my way to lovelock to get my son, I called the office & they had Mikey there with in 20min, when he arrived he said " you need to pick up your kid by 3?" I told him yes & he said "we'll make it happen". 7 minutes later we were on the road & got to the school 10 minutes early. He saved me from a huge crisis, but that was just the beginning, my idler pulls had broke & my serpentine belt snapped, we towed the truck back to the yard, Mike went & hot his tools & we fixed my truck with a pully from the scrap yard. In a town with no parts store, I was stranded here for at least another day but he stuck it out until my son & I were safely back on the road. I can't thank you guys enough, I will be reccomending this company to everyone!

Matt is a phenominal guy and very nice to work with, courtesey call and conversation were great before the tow and after the tow, i apreciate everything he did in my time of need and will be requesting him next time i need service as I drive truck all through the 80 in nevada and california.

These guys were the only ones willing to come and tow my truck a total of 187 miles on a Saturday morning. Tow truck driver was super polite and made me feel comfortable the whole ride back home. After 23 minutes on hold broken down in the desert 102 degrees stranded. my phone finally died...when I finally called back she put me on hold again 2 more times over 20 min..took all my info and quoted a desperate price for a 12 mile tow...she said she would call me back but didn't...by the time I heard from the driver, I was already at my hotel in lovelock so I canceled...jnot so great experience 🙃 I don't blame the dispatcher ...well yes I do, but they seemed busy and they deal with "big" accounts, so it was clear that I could just wait! shame on them is what comes to mind. The two stars are for each time they answered the phone . I was a tow truck operator for 15 years, so I have a good perspective. Just becausee your in a tough business dosnt mean I shoudl have to lower my expectations.

I broke down in Battle mtn Nv. Matt got a late call for a tow and came from lovelock to tow my truck with 3 trailers back to sparks. He arrived when he said he would and began to hook on quickly. He hooked quick and got me, the truck and trailers back safely. I would highly recommend this company for your towing needs. Thank you again for everything Matt. Including the conversation on our 4 hr drive back to Sparks.

Mike was outstanding. He came quickly and right on schedule. The loading was a breeze. He was extremely kind and we had 3 kids with us and he made it so easy. We were also hauling a trailer and he had no problem hauling that in addition to the truck. Above all this, Mike went above and beyond to check on us twice more while at the mechanic and even helped us fix a trailer hitch using his personal tools to assist. I can't say enough positive about this very kind and service-oriented man and this professional company.

I Had a great experience with these guys after my Big Rig broke down in the hot desert. Matt came to my rescue that day. He went above and beyond to ensure my safety and comfort. Next time there’s trouble, I’m calling these guys without hesitation. Not to mention, the price was very fair.

Mike was amazing. We had an incident off-road about 3 miles from pavement. He came quick, scouted it out, came up with a solution and got our Can-am out much faster than I had expected it would be.

Superb response time. Exceptional, no tomfoolery dilly dallying loading stuff up. 1 2 3 Mike was on it. Car crashed, tow truck driver Mike shows up, loads up vehicle, cleans up area leaving no trace of debris. If only all Americans worked this hard and efficient. We were stranded while towing our 16' camper. Mike made the hook up seem effortless and had us loaded up in no time. We had a fairly long haul from NV to CA, over the passes and he was courteous and safe, we never felt apprehensive at all riding with him to our destination. He was professional and personable, he even accomodated the large hunting dog we had with us. We knew it wasn't going to be cheap, but the service and professionalism helped take the sting from the price tag. Total livesaver!! Thanks Mike and Cal-Nevada, you all rock!

Truck wouldn’t start 18 miles from asphalt roadway. Driver was at our site and loaded in 1.25 hours! Great service, real pros! Update 11-5. This was always meant to be a five star review. I never tapped the 5th star rating. This company is fabulous and really helped us out of a jam. Fast and courteous office manager and driver was great! Sorry so long changing this post. M

Big shout out to Mike and Cal-Nevada, the driver of the 41 sprint car was awarded the hard luck award at the lovelock speedway. Races where during frounter days. So glad Mike was there to help. The kids loved his run around the track. Hope to see him again.. Thank you again Mike and Cal Nevada towing for making our night that much more enjoyable. Hope to see you next time.

I run a service company, so when a service truck is down it costs me money. Cal-Nev towing was fast friendly and very professional. Got my service truck picked up and delivered to the mechanic. I will definitely use them again.

Highly recommend the Lovelock site. I bought a glider bench at Big R this morning, thinking for sure I could get it in my trunk. No luck and as the guys were ready to hold it out back, I was awed as I was asked, " how far are you taking it?" And then, " throw it on the back, I'll follow you there". Service and hospitality like this is not abundant these days. I will most assuredly use their service and recommend it to others as well. Another huge thank you for your unexpected kindness.

Mike and Danner went above and beyond for me. I had a tire blow out on a rented trailer and was stuck on the side of I-80. They arrived in a very timely manner after being dispatched. I was tense and uncomfortable about the situation I was in, but those two professionals put me right at ease. I don't usually leave reviews, but it's important to give credit where credit is due. Mike, our tow guy, out of Lovelock is awesome!. He towed our pick up and travel trailer to Elko. He's there in 30 minutes. Dropped our travel trailer at an RV park then took our truck to the dealership. Then brought my husband back to the RV park. His truck was clean, had great conversation.
