We had bad smoke coming out of our Ford 450 and noticed we were roughly 1 minute from town. We inched our way to The Texaco and called Cal-Nevada. The mechanic came out to diagnose the truck at the Texaco, and had us go to the shop. Mind you we are pulling/towing our 5th wheel. They even helped find a place with full hook ups for the evening as the parts were ordered for the am. Definitely a life-saver. We ended blowing a fuel intake pipe as well as a fuel injector. Which they'll be fixing tomorrow.

All of our dash lights on our Subaru suddenly went on while we were a little outside of Tonopah. The car went into limp mode. We made it back to town and to Cal Nevada's shop. Russ and his crew helped us tremendously! They ran some diagnostics, cleared the codes and had us drive it around town a bit to see if the lights came back on. They did. Apparently the transmission solenoid went out and needed to be replaced. They ordered the part immediately and were able to fix it next day! They also offered us a ride back to our hotel (a mile away), which we declined. We walked around Tonopah, learned a little town history. They made everything so easy and smooth for us. I couldn't be happier with Russ, the crew and this shop! We made it back to San Diego with no problems!!

Left me stranded. Arranged for a tow after flat tire, first promised to be there in 1hr, then 2hrs, then 4hrs. And then they just cancelled. Did so just in time for all the local shops to close already. Now it's past sunset, I'm still sitting on the side of the desert road trying to figure out what to do next

Fantastic experience with these guys. They didn't even want to charge me when they discovered my flat tire was actually just a loose sensor. Honest, fast, thorough.

Kids called AAA at 330am. At 830 am cal Nevada still hadn’t arrived. Swore they were calling and couldn’t find them. Not sure how you miss a big ol bright blue pickup. Mm29 on us95/6 cal Nevada finally said they were on their way at 10am I left Hawthorne Nevada at 10am. Fixed their truck. Gassed them. And left. Apparently 20 minutes away means something different to them than everyone else. I arrived where them kids were near 11.

A very kind shop and staff. Jack towed me from Tonopah to Reno, amd he was the one good thing out of a diasatrous weekend, a delight to ride along with. Thank you, Cal Nevada Towing.

I locked my key in the car at a gas pump. I called Cal-Nevada and there did a great job unlocking my car. Quick response and a great crew. Thanks guys!

Stopped by with a tyre issue. He checked it, balanced the tire and confirmed no further issues with the axle. The guy helping us was extremely friendly and we were on our way again in 10 minutes.

This is the best tow experience I have ever had, They came and assisted me in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere 4th of July, I have never had such wonderful customer service and if you're stuck in BFE Nevada given them a call. Prices are also the best around.

Saved us from being stranded in the desert! We got a flat tire out in the middle of nowhere 45 minutes southwest of Tonopah, luckily we had just entered cell phone range. Couldn't change the tire due to stripped plastic caps that we couldn't tear off. Called Cal-Nevada and they sent out a tow right away. The tow driver got the tire off after tearing off the caps, then changed it, followed us to their shop, where we got two new tires installed as we waited. They were friendly, polite, and the price was more than reasonable. Really saved us!

We were stuck in Tonopah at loves. Our RV slide decided it didn't want to come in. Russ came out and helped us get it back in and back on the road. Thank you Russ for showing up on a holiday weekend. Happy Independence day.

We had an amazing experience with this tire shop! They went above and beyond on a Sunday evening when we were stranded. The tow operator and driver, Russ, was incredible — he got us fixed up quickly and back on the road when we thought we’d have to stay overnight. His professionalism and willingness to help made a stressful situation so much easier. Highly recommend this shop for their outstanding service

Had an oil change done. A simple oil change. They charged me 30 dollars last time. It was 98.20 this time almost 50 bucks for oil and nearly 20 for a filter??? I will not take a vehicle here again. I would leave a negative review if I could. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If you are in need of great service while in the Tonopah area I highly recommend using this company. We had a tire blowout on the way to Reno for an important event this past weekend and Russ came within 15 minutes and got us towed to the shop. Upon arrival it was clear that our tire had to be replaced but unfortunately they didn’t have the tire available. We had a family member find the exact tire in Reno and drive it down to the shop in Tonopah. Russ knew we had an important event and was kind enough to come back to the shop at 9pm after hours to replace the tire once it arrived. Thank you again for your willingness to help and go above and beyond for us.

I can’t speak for the towing but all other services were lacking, at best. Just drive to Bishop. Not sure whether I had sucker on my face for owning a smaller Honda in Tonopah and not dressing the part or if it was just poor customer service. Was told it would take three or four weeks to order my tires. I agreed and asked them to call me when they were in to set up an appointment. No call ever. The tires either never arrived or they just neglected to order them. I needed all four and ended up taking the risk of just driving to Bishop with four bad tires. The first day I dropped the car off during non business hours and left my keys in the drop box, which was shallow enough for anyone to have taken them. When I arrived after not getting through on the phone, the keys were still in the drop box, which they hadn’t even checked. Generally bad attitude when it comes to “customer service.” Nobody I worked with seemed to care about their job or the customer experience. Just count on auto shops being one of many amenities one has to go without in Tonopah. I typically try to support local businesses, but there was nothing worth my while here.

On our way home from vacation, we had a tire issue on a motorhome we rented. The rental company was no help, we had a spare, but no jack and 14 hours from home. I called and talked with Monica and she told us to come in and she would see what they could do for us. We were grateful just to have them say they would see what they could do. We understood that we may have to wait a while as they had previous things and appointments to take care of. We stopped in and they took care of us in a surprisingly fast time matter for us not having an appointment. Monica, Thank you for taking care of us and getting us home safely and in a timely manner. We were trying to get home that evening and did. After leaving I went on line and read some of the reviews, I work in the same industry and was curious. I will say after reading many of them and now having our own dealings with them, if people would be understanding and have patience it may make all the difference in the world. This is a very small town without many options. I do believe they help as many people as they can, with saying that, there are only so many people and so much time. They still have their locals that need to be helped also. Overall everyone should try to remember that in this day, be kind, have patience and that many people do try and help. Thank you again you guys for getting our tire issue(which was separating) off.

Great shop. A valve stem on one of our fifth wheel tires burst, and they were recommended by the local truck stop. We limped over, and they immediately took care of us, thank you so much.

We had a flat about a mile down a mountain county road that AAA wouldn't service. I called Cal-Nevada Road Services. The dispatcher was very nice, arranged for a tow, and said it would be a couple of hours since tech was out on a call. In less than an hour, tech arrived and had us loaded up and back to town for a new tire. The service tech was professional and did a great job. We could not be more pleased with the service we received. Thank you!

I was 7 miles outside of Tonopah and my motorcycle tire got a flat coming from Reno going to Tucson on a Sunday afternoon around 2ish. Within an 1 1/2 Russ the Mananger pulled up with a flatbed and a special tow dolly to get my bike up onto the trailer. Towed me into town, to my motel and the next day... The Crew located a rear tire for my Harley and I was back on my MC in no time at all! A Solid Thank You to you Gentlemen, keep doing what you do!

Absolutely horrible experience. Our Defender got a flat and we required a tow from Cal-Nevada. The tow was fine and the tow truck driver very professional and kind. It was late so he advised us he could tow it to the shop in a secure bay overnight and they would be able to fix the tire in the morning. The company is a tow company but also a tire/mechanical shop. The next morning my husband went to the shop to see our Defender sitting there not secured at all. When he went into the shop, my husband said the gentleman in the shop didn't even look up at him as he spoke to him and simply said "Sorry we can't help you". Clearly this is a common theme as I see the previous review where the vehicle wasn't secured and ransacked. I called Smoky Valley Tire 95km up the road and they were more than helpful and reassured us they could help. I wish I would have just had the vehicle towed there in the first place. We are on our way home to Canada and I cannot tell you how worrisome it can be to be broken down outside a small town, on a deserted highway, thousands of miles away from home and no one could care to help. Poor business and I would never want to break down in this town again. Bottom line it appears they could care less to help us.

Usually, when you need a towing company, you are already having a bad day. But with this place, you never know if it will get worse or not. This towing company is the only towing company in the area so they get all the tow jobs. In my case, I hit an antelope at 10 pm, and they said that no one could come out until the next morning. I was ok with that, but what I was not ok with is the fact that I had to leave my car in their parking lot while I went to get a rental in Reno and the next time I saw my car it had been ransacked. Every compartment of my car had been emptied, and everything that had a zipper or that could be dumped out was dumped out. The local sheriffs office and highway patrol were no help, and when I went into the towing shop first they wanted to deny what happened, and then they wanted to blame me. So many things were stolen while my car was parked in their lot, which has video surveillance and they were more interested in blaming me than helping me to try and recover my stuff. What a nightmare, hope this never happens to you. There were things stolen that I can never replace like my external disc drive with all my photos on it and business and personal work and documents and they probably already erased my stuff if I am lucky, if not they will probably try to steal more from my accounts or brag to others about how they ripped me off when I was vulnerable. They even stole the clip to my 9mm. They didn't get the gun, though, thank goodness but it seems like they are benefitting from ripping people off and don't even care about what it is doing to the people who they serve.

Stuck in the middle of nowhere Nevada! Cal-Nevada towing was the Knight to the rescue!! Very professional and went way above and beyond to ensure that the truck was recovered and ready to roll again. I appreciate a business that is professional and fair. Much thanks to Rachel (dispatch) and Russ the Wrecker operator for a job well done!!

We called Cal-Nevada Towing because our car overheated. Dave came and picked us up and was very friendly and helpful with helping us get to a hotel for the night. He was very open to any questions we had about their services and about how he could assist us. He arrived before the estimated hour arrival timeframe. He called us 20 minutes after dropping us off to let us know if they would be able to do the work on our van. Very appreciative of the communication.

On March 10 my car overheated north of Beatty, NV. I did an internet search and found Cal-Nevada Towing. A million thanks to the Cal-Nevada manager, Dave, in Tonopah who towed me to their shop and went the extra mile (no pun intended) to find a new radiator for my 98 Honda. There were none in Tonopah, but he called other parts companies and had a Cal-Nevada driver bring one down from Sparks with a tire delivery that day. Through Dave's extra efforts of finding a radiator and actually doing the repair himself, I was on my way the next day! Can't thank him enough for taking care of a stranded driver!

My Chevy Duramax spun the serpentine belt 41 miles south of this shop on HWY 95. Dave towed my truck and travel trailer to town perfectly! The next day their shop had a new belt and idler pulley installed for less than $150 [the tow was covered by AAA roadside service]. Excellent service! Highly recommended!

So thankful for this place! Our first driver (cannot remember his name) picked us up in the middle of the desert when nobody else would on our way to Las Vegas to make sure we got to town and to a hotel with our 4 year old, and the company assured us they would get us towed to Vegas the next day and did in a very timely manner. Dillion, our second driver was extremely respectful, awesome at interacting with our 4 year old, made for a comfortable ride, and was extremely accommodating. He drove us all they way to Vegas, and to a second shop down the road after the first couldn't help us. I cannot give enough stars, or recommend Dillon enough. Thank you Dillon and Cal-Nevada Towing for saving the day!!
