Fuk this place I had a hole paller of batterys that went across the hole pallet 632 pounds I got 60 bux should of got170/200 dollars what happened to ten bux a battery don't go here I think lady in booth riped me off wish I can give no stars
They used to be awsome but now they won't work with you. I show up in a vehicle as per the new ordinance but my ride had to go back to work. They tell me I can't turn in my scraps cause teh vehicle has to stay. I looked up the ordinabce and they lied to me. I don't live around here and now I'm stranded.
This is a recycling center for businesses. I went there to recycle boxes from my recent house move.It is a big, very busy confusing place that is not at all organized to help a residential customer . I arrived and found no instructions, no help, just a busy maze of big trucks dumping stuff..I was constantly in the way of all the huge trucks rushing through. Miserable experience.
This place was cool until I went to day and they told me I have to have a car . Don't every body have a car that's why some of use recycle. I think this the stupidest thing I ve hear. So the people who really need to make ends have to suffer ones again thanks guys.
They were extremely rude and insulting to me. They would not let me park in any parking space, I had to leave the lot and walk up. Then, after walking up they said they wouldn’t take my business. This place is very dangerous they are not safe. They are on an extremely small lot and forklifts are going every direction at top speed. I would stay away if you value your life. They are certainly not ADA complaint with parking. Since they wouldn’t take my copper wire, I had to walk back with it to my car along a busy street and I cut my arm.
All the guys there are super helpful and have always been kind and courteous no matter how big of a load that's brought in. I've been coming to this location for years and I'll keep coming here no matter what. Thank you guys for they Great service.
Today was a super tuff day for me, found out that my grandmother past away and with all things being over priced $$$ is very tight for my family and I and for so many people out there. I took in some wire I have been saving up and like always Mario was there to help me out and gave me a bit more for the shinny copper I’ve been saving up. This $ came in at such a great time and so muchhh help to my family and I. Thank you 🙏🏽 soooo muchhh (Mario) for always taking care of me and all the other people you help out. This Recycling Center it top shelf. Mario, the shop manager/superintendent is super helpful, and always has a great attitude. When their buisness is super busy, Mario is the cool one giving safe thought out instructions. 5⭐️
We had a client that needed a couple of appliances tossed on a move out cleaning and we decided to dump them here. Great and friendly service! Happy we found them and know who to rely on for future similar jobs.
Mario and his partner are always on top of it. I’m in and out with ease, and they always take care of me. Super kind and friendly place, and surprisingly clean (Parking area) for all the traffic they experience throughout the day!

I came in with over a 100lbs of copper and walked out with $158.58. My wife went there with less than half the day before and got $247.00 this place is a rip off!! The funny part is I’m a plumber and I’m going to be telling everyone I know to go somewhere else so they don’t get ripped off. If you look at the tare that is supposed to be the weight of the bin. The fact that all my copper was in the same bin and they have different bin weights shows you that they ripped me off and stole From me. I tried to get my copper back but they said it’s already sorted and that because I went to the cashier and got a check that I couldn’t get it back. You don’t even get the amount they are going to pay you until you get the check. As soon as I saw how little I was paid I tried to get my stuff back but was refused.
From the moment I parked my car I was being helped by a gentleman who explained everything to me on the metals and the recycle process he even helped me take it from my vehicle to the scale. The woman behind the cash register window was very pleasant and overall I would recommend this place to anyone who needs recycling five stars for sure I'll be back again
Jordan was great! Even though he was very busy, he was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He got me in and out quickly & I was satisfied with the prices on the materials I brought in. I would definitely recommend!
I’m a plumber in Las Vegas I take scrap to this recycling center quite often the people there are so courteous so friendly so nice for a scrap yard I would’ve expected it to be little more rough than more messy you know that more waiting in lines but this place is clean nice one thing I like about it when you drive in it’s clean enough we won’t get to screws and trash in your tires some other scrap yards I go I got stuff in my tires and I got a flat tire but here it’s pretty clean of debris employees are nice the checkout is quick they don’t give you a hassle and I just like it I’m going to Alana scrapyards in my time and that’s what it is by far the best thank you so much recycling center for Great experience
The staff is extremely friendly. They even push the bins for me or help unload my truck when it isn’t too busy. They make great conversation, all around good people. Easy to find and conveniently close to most of the parts houses I go to for work.
$.02 a pound for cardboard.
A whopping$5 for a packed Toyota sienna minivan full.

I am a plumber so I get a lot of scrap brass and copper. So I have tried multiple places to sell my scrap and Nevada Recycling is overall the best place to bring it. The prices are good, employees are cool and helpful, easy process, and they aren't too terribly picky on their criteria. I will be be bringing my scrap here all the time. Thanks guys :-)
The people posting positives on here are obviously friends or employees, because the only accurate reviews are the one and two stars. These people pay .03 lb on scrap steel when the national average is .30. Their price on electric motors was .15 just a few weeks ago, and .10 today. I wonder if they make up prices as they go. They make us do a fingerprint and show ID but there is no oversight on their scams??? Someone, please tell me a better, more fair place to do business in Las Vegas.
