Failed to engage with customer. I felt invisible. Told them what I needed and they said id have to go to Reno or pay a 25 dollar delivery fee. Apparently they don't have chevrolet 6 lug 18" rims.
Called and placed an order for a part from their website. Rep said they had it and charged my card. Get a call 2 hours later saying they don’t have it.
Price was right. Guy at the counter could use a little customer service training. He was busy on the phone when I walked in and didn’t acknowledge me, another customer came in and again he didn’t acknowledge him. I realize when it’s busy sometimes you need to focus, but a quick I’ll be right with you, should be standard practice.
The guys are easy to work with and prices are fair. When I need just one OEM wheel for a customer, B&R is my go-to. It's also awesome that you can still go pull your own parts.
R God daughter wrecked her car found them online had the appropriate part I needed. They said it was a grade A condition, was actually more like a grade C condition, but still usable shipping was moderate would recommend if necessary
I’ve currently been waiting 6 days with 0 response from B&R Auto after sending me a defective part (or packing it so poorly that it broke in shipping, one of the two). Messaged daily for days. Have opened a case via the sales platform (eBay), and no response to that either. If there’s a worse yard to buy from, I’d be genuinely shocked. Completely unacceptable. How hard is it to make a situation right? If you value you time/money, AVOID. I tried so hard to resolve pleasantly.
I ordered a part fully paid for and when I got connected with Oregon's office support feedback, they helped make the part delivered to my doorstep. I truly appreciate the assistance in making my wait time more manageable.
Hands down best yard in town! Casey and Jesus know what you want and need. The staff is always working and on top of it. Don't forget to bring cash and tip the crew for their hard work.
I had a door for my Volvo transferred to Carson City from the Eugene, OR yard. It was removed & shipped properly & I got it in great shape! They were even kind enough to load it in the car for me. B&R is the real deal!
I needed a wheel as a spare tire for 2013 Sienna Van. I went on-line and asked for referrals and received numerous texts, emails and calls from people in distant parts of the country that seemed a bit shady. so, I physically went to B & R Auto Wrecking and spoke with Jesus (at the counter) who hooked me up with a used OEM wheel for my van at a very fair price. Absolutely easy to do business with and I will go back when looking for other parts.

I bought a power steering pump for an old forklift that I had. The Salesman was great because there was no numbers to go off of. he was able to do the research and find a part that would fit and order it from one of the other yards. This place has to have the worst customer service I've ever seen. I arrived 15 minutes prior to closing to pick up an off-the-shelf part. Nothing big. Nothing requiring a forklift or pulling of parts. Just a simple take it off the shelf and sell it to me transaction and the guy wouldn't take the time to do it. Even tried to close the doors 15 minutes early. It was obvious he needed to be somewhere else instead of servicing customers. Very sad. I'm hoping to find the part somewhere else online. I don't care how much I have to pay for shipping.
FOR MANAGEMENT: The rep was a young guy, curly black hair, kind of heavy set. I was onsite at 1:48pm 10/15/22.
Use to go through B&R a lot but the Customer Service has gone down the drain. & as much as they charge, you might as well buy the part new. I waited over a week for a part I ordered and NO ONE called me to let me know they didn't have the part. They said I was fully refunded, it's been 2days & I'm still waiting for that.
Update: Took 4 days to recieve my refund, then received a text message 2 days later telling me they didn't have the part. Bad service and do not recommend.
I bought a Wheel online for my Forester and needed to call them as the chat feature was offline. I spoke with Dartanian Dewitt (cool name!) and he was very helpful, the price was good and the shipping reasonable. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them and use them again in the future for parts.
Called and talked to Mitch. Super great guy! Was needing a set of rims 18” for my 2014 Nissan Pathfinder, gave him a part number and he was able to get me the set with in days from another location and the price was outstanding! Highly recommend calling them and getting a price. Outstanding service.
The fastest part about my order was them taking my money. I was given a cell phone number of an associate to communicate. The day I was supposed to pick up a part: I have been texting, calling, nothing. No response. Then was told to come after calling main number. Arrived and was told to wait another 30 minutes. Ended up waiting for 3 hours. Half a work day wasted, poor communication. Never again. Do not recommend to anyone who values time.
PS. Changed to 3 stars because I did get a call from an associate who offered $20 to cover my 3 lost hours.
Great experience finding a rim for the ole Explorer... Everybody I talked with was friendly and professional. And the price didn't set me back, it was the best deal around. If in another jam for parts, I'll check here first. Highly recommend this place. Five stars for sure.
I'm not a resident of Carson City, and needed parts for my 93 Dodge while visiting family (LONG way from home). Was more than impressed. Very professional staff, great prices and awesome service. These gentlemen go the extra mile to make sure you are taken care of! We need a B&R back home.....
Ordered inner fender wheel wells and was told they would be a day or two and would receive a call when they were in. A week later, haven't heard anything so I called and was told that the problem had been corrected and they would be a day or two. Waited another week, no calls so I call again to be told my order was cancelled. Went to get my refund and they only give checks even though I paid in cash. Cost $7.50 to cash it with THEIR BANK.
And on top of all the hassle, their customer service skills were terrible.
Dealing with this company has been amazing. I am a parts manager and I deal with Casey every day. He is polite, accurate, and responds quickly. If I ever have a question or issue Casey goes above and beyond to make sure we are helped. I am very happy with the professional relationship our companies have. Thank you for all that ya'll do.
Great place for good used auto parts. Very good customer service. I needed a donut for my older model Cadillac. They didn't have the donut at the Carson location, but were able to get it from another of their yards and have it shipped to Carson. All done with a phone call (and a very reasonable price!). I highly recommend this establishment.
Great people working at the Carson location!! Called and asked if they had a tail light for my vehicle, was told yes, went to get it and had it in my hands within 15 minutes. I didn’t even have to remove it from the other vehicle myself. All around great experience!! Thank you so much.
I was recommended by a friend to call Pedro Lopez-Perez because I had to buy a part, but I was super broke until payday. My experience with Pedro was awesome, he was very knowledgeable of what I needed, it was affordable and Pedro gave me great customer service. We went to B and R in Carson City today for the first time. We are from Oregon and have been to most of the B and R locations up there. This location has a lot to choose from and Tanner in the office was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction to find what we were looking for. We ended up spending a lot more time there than we had planned as there were so many vehicles to check out. In the end Tanner gave us a fair price on the parts we needed. When we are back in this area we will definitely head back to B and R.

Overall not a great experience. I was trying to sell a junk car so I could get some cash ready for rent. Primarily was dealing through Justin, and was getting nowhere fast. I even had a day where I was waiting several hours for them to pick it up and I had to postpone it because I had to leave for work. About a week later I manage to finally get in contact with someone else and it seems like the ball is finally rolling. Consider other options before coming here to sell your scrap. It's not worth the amount of your time they waste for the prices they give.
