Made an appt to pick something up from Roger. Told him I live an hour and 20 mins away. When I had arrived for the item I told him I was buying, he had already sold it before I got there. I said I would be there at noon and actually showed up 10 mins early. Very poor communication on his end and that is not the kind of person you want to deal with when he should be a business owner. I have learned my lesson dealing with this guy!

I found a vehicle on Facebook Marketplace so I went to check it out. Roger the owner was super nice and even recommended a vehicle that was better than what we were going to go for. I love our new vehicle. He was also sweet to my daughters and had an actual conversation with us. He didn't try to force a sale. I will buy another vehicle there.

We had a great experience getting a Ford focus from Wheeler! He gave us an awesome deal and the process was quick and simple. I’d much rather get a car from here rather than a dealership. Roger was kind, helpful, and very honest. He made sure we got exactly what we need for the best price, and he towed away our old broken down car for us as well. He was a big help in a pinch! This was my husband’s second car from Wheeler and it’s running well!

Great experience for a first time buyer! Update due to car breaking down within a month...transmission, power steering pump...2 stars because I understand it was a used car, but spent more than I make in a month for the car to run less than a month.

Great place, I got a little car to save mileage on my leased pickup. Haven’t had any problems whatsoever. Mpg is great, whole buying experience was wonderful. Have a radio problem, and they’ve been very good about fixing it. Love the car

I purchased a vehicle from "Roger". The door panels were put together by dry wall screws. Then not much later the vehicle completely stopped working. I tried to reason with him and he did nothing but SCREAM. This is not the place you want to go to buy a car.

Horrible experience. March 15th I paid 5200 for a car. March 16th it is showing 6 codes. All pertaining to the engine. I called twice and no response. I drove up there I was told he wasn’t in but he will call me back. Never called me so I had to spend 600 and fix it myself. Less than 3 months later the engine blew. He says on the internet “call me anytime”. He also says that if anything is wrong “call me and I’ll get it fixed”. He never called me back. I was extremely nice and calm the whole time until he just threw me out of his shop and said that he wouldn’t help at all. I gave him a piece of my mind then. I’m a family man and I don’t have the money each month for car payments. I saved all year to come up with the 5200 and now it’s gone. Don’t buy a car from him. Don’t make my mistake. I’m going to try anything I can in court.

The stereotypical crooked used car salesman who is selling lemons. DO NOT TRUST!! Basing my opinion on the car I bought from Roger which was dead on the road after driving it less than 100 miles. Basing my opinion on the fact that Roger's offer to 'make it right' was to try selling me a flood damaged car with a cracked radiator. Again, DO NOT TRUST!!

Great service and very friendly staff. Roger met us outside with two sets of keys, of which were the cars we first looked at when we arrived. He let us take the cars for a drive and didn't put any pressure on us to buy. There were a few things that needed fixed a couple days after we purchased the car and he made the repairs within a couple days.

Get an itemized receipt before leaving! So I call my insurance company for a tow because one of my tires popped. They send this man (Roger) from Wheeler automotive to pick me up and I tell him to take me to ”tires plus” because it was Friday night and they are open on Saturdays, he tells me he owns a shop and that he can take care of it for me, since he was the one that picked me up on the side of the highway I decide that there’s no harm in going with him so I agree. When I pick up my car on Tuesday I go in expecting to pay 150 or so because the reviews I read on this place say the prices are good and he is a nice guy and he was when I first dealt with him, and it was only one of my tires that need replacing. I get there and the bill comes out to $430, turns out he went ahead and replaced three of my tires instead of the one that I needed without so much as calling me first and asking me if that was ok. I decided since eventually I’ll need new tires anyway I’ll let it go and I pay the bill and leave it at that. For some reason they don’t give you an itemized receipt when you pay they give you a receipt that only shows the amount that you paid and that’s it, supposedly they mail you your receipt later which I thought was weird but also let that go. So I get the receipt three or four days later and it turns out that I was charged for 4 tires but he only replaced 3. I call him twice and both times he tells me he’ll get to it because he’s really busy and after the second call I give him a week and a half and I still have heard anything. I sent him an email and still nothing. I finally called back two weeks later and tell him what’s going on with being overcharged on my Credit card and he says he’s going to send me a new receipt in the mail and if I don’t like it that I can call him then, so essentially he’s going to change up the numbers and make the tires more expensive to justify the overcharge on my credit card. I tell him that I am not going to accept that answer and that I am going to dispute the amount with my credit card company and I end the call there there. He calls me back seconds later screaming “I did you a favor and this is what you’re going to do, is this the American way for you? I did you a favor and you’re gonna call who knows who? You’re an idiot“ and hangs up without letting me speak. Forgetting that I only needed 1 tire not three, so I did him the favor by not making a big deal out of him replacing more than he had to. Moral of the story; GET an itemized receipt before paying for his services. I’m sure the owner is going to respond to this review and try to say that this didn’t happen or try to justify his actions. But everything I’ve written is 100% true. There’s no reason for me to lie and try to ruin this man’s business when I don’t know him at all (I’ve included my receipt for proof) He could’ve just refunded me the extra money for the fourth tire that I never received or sent me the tire I was charged for but instead he ignored my calls and emails and calls me an idiot.

I traveled 5 hours for the specific vehicle I purchased from Roger...totally worth it! It has been a great experience, love my car! Even though it is old and high mileage it runs like a dream. It is in such good shape, my nephew thinks I have a "race car." Roger and staff were so helpful and friendly and no pressure buying-loved that! My girls were also happy with the ice cream bars!

My father in law bought a mini van from here. We asked on 3+ occasions if the title was clean, been in any accidents, floods, etc. They said it was clean many times. He gets the title in the mail. It's salvaged and was in a flood and was submerged for a lengthy period of time. We called because we were assured multiple times it was a clean title, he says that he sold many flood vehicles under clean titles and never had any issues before. So evidently this means it's okay to lie to a man that just retired with grandchildren? After telling my father in law this, he refuses to take any of our calls or the van back. I'm very disappointed and do not want others going through such a stressful and unnecessary situation.

I am in town working on a local plant and my truck developed an issue.to make a long story short I was going to buy a truck.it was Sunday and I didn't expect anything to be open.noticed shop off main stopped in .took a truck for test drive was ready to buy .he asked what was wrong with mine ,told him stuck in 4 lo .told me I didn't need the truck could probably fix it messed with it for 10 min. Walla fixed truck and sent me on my way. I am happy there are still honest people in business and are not just trying to make a buck. Sincerely John lane cedar rapids iowa

He doesn't even deserve one star. Roger is a liar and a con man. After looking for several weeks for an older chev one ton we came across his ad for a 1989 Chev pick up. We were told that the truck was owned by a mechanic and was in great shape and well taken care of. Also told that it had no problems that needed attention. The first thing that happened is it didn't show up the day it was supposed to. He didn't even let us know it wouldn't be arriving we had to call his driver to be informed it would arrive the next day. Upon arrival around 7 pm the following evening, when we attempted to open the hood to look at the engine, we discovered the hood release cable was broken. Roger knew this, he had purchased a new one and it was sitting in the back seat of the truck. When we called to ask him about this, he asked why we needed to look under the hood. This is a ridiculous question, of course we need to be able to look under the hood. At that point he rudely said he didn't want to talk he was about to go to bed and we could call him the following day. While attempting to open the hood, crawled under the truck and discovered the entire undercarriage of vehicle was covered in oil. After finally getting the hood open discovered it was low on engine oil, power steering fluid completely empty and A/C pump had been removed. Attempted to take it for a short drive to town, turned it off at the store and when we walked out to start it up it wouldn't turn over. Spent 30 mins stranded in town and on one attempt to start it it actually fired up. Brought it home and parked it. Attempted to move it to a new location on our property and when it was put into gear something snapped and now it's sitting at our home, totally dead, completely useless. Roger was contacted and claims that everything was working fine on the truck and that the oil leak and all problems had to have developed after we purchased it. He called us liars. He is crooked and this is WRONG. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HIM.

Thanks for providing this service. I wanted to GAMBLE on a cheap used car rather than paying outrageous markup for a vehicle a a big dealership. This guy has the best prices year after year. He is not hiding anything, if you buy an OLD and CHEAP vehicle it may have problems at some point. Get real, Cry-Babies. Thanks, Wheeler. I’ll be back when this truck gives out for another fair deal.

I bought a 20 person passenger bus from Roger. We got a decent price on it and really did not have to hassle with negotiations. So far (we've had the bus for two weeks) it has run well and we have not had any issues. It is an older bus so time will tell but Roger did say that if we have ANY problems what so ever to make sure we give them a call and they will do what they can to make it right. They seemed to be a family run business that operates with great integrity.

I have been a customer of Wheeler's for almost 3 years now and I just purchased a new vehicle from them today. They have always been friendly and helpful and have been there to help when I needed it. I will purchase another car when the time comes.

Great prices and service!  A few years ago we saw a nice SUV for sale there at a great price!  I have never liked buying used, I never received a good deal.  But we decided to give them a chance.  What a great decision we made, three years and it is still running great.   In December we bought another SUV for our daughter from them!   We really liked the service,  and would not hesitate to buy from them again!

I do NOT recommend this poor excuse of a business to my worst enemy! Roger Wheeler is unprofessional, unethical, slimy, and cheap! His teenage children are left in charge and do not know what they're doing. All the cars there are death traps. It would be a miracle if one of his cars was properly maintained, fixed, and sold for blue book value. I highly suggest looking into ANY other place for a vehicle. You would probably have better luck and get a better deal elsewhere. Like I said, he does NOT care about his customers well-being. They're just a price tag to him. He has no morals and the whole place is so unprofessional and poorly ran. I wouldn't send my worse enemy his way. If you're looking into getting a car from Roger Wheeler, I suggest saving your money and buying a 10 speed bike! All of the cars are junk and if I could rate him and his business a 0 I definitely would!!! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.

Just bought my second car from Wheeler and recommended it to a friend. Never in my car buying experience have I felt more at ease and less like I was being taken advantage of. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. If you need a used car, make this your first, and likely last stop.

I purchased a car from Roger for my 16 year old. It's a safe and reliable vehicle. He's been driving it for almost a year and we've had no problems. I would recommend this business and will buy from again!

Ive bought 4 vehicles from the guy and I'm sure Ill buy plenty more. Its a family run business and they treat you like part of the family. I 100% recommend this car lot to anyone looking no matter where you live. Thank you for the non hassling, simple, straight forward car shopping experience!
