You can’t beat small town auto repair with vast experience. Our jeep had been giving us the Death Wobble and Vince diagnosed, found parts and had us on the road in 2 days. Wonderful folks, great customer service, and renewed my faith in auto repair places. Previous attempt at a big jeep dealer said couldn’t recreate and sent us off with no help. Thank you Ashland Auto.
We were traveling home to Iowa from a trip to Utah when we started experiencing problems with our Ford truck. My husband was pretty confident that it was a bad wheel baring. We went to the Ford shop there in Ashland and they would not help us. Said they were to busy and that they could not get the part for that year of truck. They would not even look at it. We went down the street to Ashland Auto Repair and Vince got us right in. It was a wheel baring and he took the time to find out that a year or two year wheel baring would fit. He located it and went and got it for us. His shop worked on the truck and had it done and we were back on the road in no time. We sat at a nearby park and he even came and checked on my family multiple times and brought us some cards to occupy our time. Without them we would of been stranded for who knows how long. Excellent service!
Took my car in to be repaired… it was diagnosed with a leaky valve cover… long story short.. it took over a month to fix my car.. then when I got it back it was still leaking… tried to call and get it back in… but no call back…. Took it to another mechanic…they said it had a broken valve cover…so I guess he replaced the valve cover gasket and not the broken cover😳
Cost me OVER $1000 ( with a few misc other repairs) and didn’t even fix the leak it was originally in for in the 1st place….very disappointing….won’t be taking any more vehicles back to Vince….
Vince had my truck diagnosed and fixed before I was expecting. They did a nice job and he and his staff are very honest and helpful. Will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future
We needed an emergency
alternator replacement while on a long distance trip. We were so lucky to find this shop. The dealership 20 miles away said they couldn't get us in for several days. The owner and his technician were able to get us on the road in a few hours and dealt with the warrenty company for us. The town is a delightful place to be stranded in.
The only complaint I have is that your car might be there a lot longer than anticipated. Vince runs a good shop, and puts in quality work and doesn't BS you on prices and extras. He's the point and gets to business. They are one of a few shops around this town so he's always full. They are absolutely amazing and have awesome customer service.
Super friendly staff, explained what was wrong in a way that made sense. Some mechanics make me feel dumb when i ask questions,but not these guys. Super through and showed me what needed to be done. Would highly recommend!!
Vince and Jackie are the best they will work with you they are helpful and very knowledgeable they do not try to undercut you or anything like that they are very very very street shooters
Very poor quality break work . They wasn't friendly at all and wouldnd even talk to me and my truck breaks had to be finished and let me down in two weeks . Lack of communication , they just did what they wanted not what the customer wanted I was a customer and they wouldn't talk to me
We found ourselves with a Jeep that wouldn’t start on the day we were to drive home to Illinois. It took until after 2:00 to get it towed. Ashland Auto looked at it immediately and had us on the road in less than an hour. Nice people and great customer service! Five stars!!!!
I had come in after getting a flat tire.They very easily could have sold me a new tire, but saved me alot of time and money by patching the hole. And they switched out my spare and put my patched tire back on for free. Extremely friendly and honest staff who made what could have been an awful experience much better. I would recommend them to anyone!!
