Two hours of back-and-forth communication with my Roadside Assistance service; they finally found me a guy an hour & a half away. A Columbus local (Pat at Cubby's) recommended Behlen; Austin showed up within 15 minutes -- and this was on a Sunday afternoon (sorry, man...). Total professionalism and great work.
I blew a tire outside of Columbus and after haggling with my insurance for way too long I finally decided to call a tow truck myself. Thank God I randomly called this one because Austin was a literal angel. He showed up sooner than I expected him to and had my car off the side of a dangerous highway in no time. He was great at his job and made the whole process as painless as possible. It was so nice to deal with a genuinely good person. Honestly, he makes me feel better about the state of humanity in general. Lol. Can’t recommend this company enough!
My serpentine belt broke on the Fourth of July. Austen was responsive and quick! He was very kind and allowed my dog to ride in the truck. 10/10 will recommend Behlen Towing to anyone!
I broke down outside of Duncan and thankfully I now Jason of Jay's Automotive and Fleet, he suggested I called Behlen Towing for a tow to his shop since my car would not start. Austen came and picked me up and was so nice and he could tell I was upset with my car breaking down. He was very personable and made me feel at ease. Then my credit card would not work so he said I could drop off a check later to his shop. He was very accommodating and understanding. Thank you, Austen! These guys are top notch. I got stuck yesterday afternoon and showed up and got me pulled out and gave me a good deal after getting me out. Really nice guys
Luke, the locksmith, helped us get into our house, because my husband forgot the keys when we went to take our dog on a walk! LOL! He showed up fast, got us in, and I was able to get our doggy her seizure meds on time. He is a LIFESAVER literally!
New truck broke down on hwy 22 west of Columbus wasn’t even 30 minutes later Behlen was there and got me off the road through a one lane construction zone and back to Columbus for repairs. Very prompt and very professional nice young men on the job Keep up the good work
Had a driver with a major air leak in a construction zone. Austin came out right away got him off of the road. Towed him to the dealership for warranty work. Great customer service and priced competitively. Would highly recommend!
Our family broke down just outside Columbus late one night. We're not from the area and needed to get moving off the road and back into town. Behlen made it to us in great time and the gentleman was very courtesy and friendly. Very personable, especially with the kids who were keen to see a tow truck work and ask lots of questions. He even went the extra mile to make sure the family made it to a local hotel for the night. Not that we look forward to being towed again, but if we do, we'd go to Behlen again in a heartbeat.
Highly recommend Behlen Towing! Professional and very good at what they do. Pulled my semi outta the ditch in a blizzard very quickly after the other tow company in town managed to get two of their wreckers stuck in the same ditch while trying to pull me out. Reasonable pricing and have the best equipment.
I thought I was going to need to have my car towed to the dealership because it was dead but all I needed was a jump and I was able to drive myself. They were so kind and helpful I could not have asked for better service.
My truck broke down in the middle of the road and I was so beyond upset. We called Behlen towing and not only did he get there quickly but he even lightened my mood. He was so nice and super helpful! If I recall the guy who was helping us was Austin, and he really outdid himself!
Trucking towards Denver today, just coming into Columbus- all of the sudden two of my drive tires come off the truck. One goes into right ditch and the other into the left. While fetching one of the tires out of the mud- a Behlen wrecker was yanking a pickup out of the same ditch- I pointed out to the operator I could use some help as I was dead in the water now. Five minutes later, their heavy wrecker was pulling up to come rescue me. Another truck was needed to pull my trailer off the shoulder as well and they arranged that before we even got my truck saddled up to the wrecker. Less than 1.5 hrs into this ordeal and I was towed to a local shop and ready to tackle the next step! I can’t say enough about Austen and his professionalism. More than fair with the fee and no milking the job. Thanks for turning a bad situation into a bearable one.
Got a flat trie this morning call.Mikes towing they did not answer so I called Behlen towing they say don't worry we got a truck and be there in a few minutes. The drive was professional I recommend them for a best tow service in Columbus 💯

During the big snow storm in Jan 2024 they helped me out BIG time. I was high centered on snow and they pulled me out in like 5 minutes or less. It didn’t break the bank and the guy was pleasant to speak with. So grateful to them.
