I got a flat tire from a pothole in Pittsburgh. Bought a new tire quickly but didn’t realize until I took it to have the donut changed that the wheel was bent. Smith Auto had the perfect wheel for me for my 2015 Fiat 500. They were very responsive via text, honest, had the best price around. It shipped quickly, and I got it in a few days. It was a great experience to do business with them online!!! Thanks!
Smith auto always has a large selection of used parts. They also have a self-service area to pull any part needed yourself. This is much cheaper and much more convenient than ordering online or going to the store.
I had a great experience with Smith Auto. They were very helpful with the questions I had. Since I live 3 hours away, I purchased the engine online and drove up there to get it. When I arrived they were very friendly and took great care loading the engine in my truck. The engine was in perfect shape and exactly as described. The engine runs great and we are happy to have our truck on the road again!! I highly recommend going to Smiths if you need any parts for your vehicle!!
Eric always takes good care of us. We call them first whenever we need anything for our shop. A lot of salvage yards can be hard to deal with but we never get service like that here.
Definitely would purchase auto parts from Smith Auto again. Service and follow up were excellent! Rare to find this level of customer service these days.
They had a great price on the transfer case I needed and after a quick phone call they were able to get things set up for me. It was delivered to Tulsa, Oklahoma in just a couple days. They kept in contact the whole time, making sure I had access to the tracking information and the transfer case was packaged carefully. I was able to install the same weekend and it functions properly! The whole process was worry-free. Nice people, would recommend this shop to a friend!

Gotta travel.....but it's worth it.... very excellent people thumbs up 100 percent... on greeting people.... if you need parts for vehicles...go there.... small town didn't have a chance to stop at the local restaurant ....but I imagine the it's good home cooked food.... love small town cooked...it's the best....
Awesome team to work with. Terry and Steve are both extremely knowledgeable and professional. They genuinely care about your needs and pay extra attention to every detail. Ordered a transmission, was expecting it to be delivered in 3-5 days as we are 400 miles apart. To my surprise I got it next day! Excellent service! Would give 10 stars if I could!
Very, very expensive shipping fees! I order parts daily for my business (for the past 20 years from just about every yard in the USA) and this yard has the most expensive shipping fees out of anyone in the USA. $60 to ship a small part when it should be $15-$20 tops. Pretty ridiculous! And they won’t let you provide a shipping label either. After complaining I was told it’s the cost of materials, riiigght. $2 for a box and some bubble wrap lol.
Zero communication with the customer. Sad face. Hood was indicated to have half hour of cleanup. After making it clear it was a 2 hour drive to pick it up and giving them my number I arrived to find this. See pics. Yes they discounted it, but after investing half a day to secure it I was already heavily invested and will loose no matter which route I take. Funny they have a sign respecting referrals on the wall. 10/10 don't recommend.
I am very pleased that I purchased my motor for my Chevy Cruze from Smith Auto. First off the customer service was really good, the person I talked to knew what they have on had on hand and the cost of the item with the shipping. I had it freight the motor to San Diego were I installed it.
I found that most shops that sell used motors just cut all the electrical connector and hoses and leave them on the motor for you to remove. I did not have to worry about that here. I took my old motor out and swap over everything and installed the new one. Went really easy
So my daughter purchased a rebuilt vehicle “as is” from Smith Auto. The next day the check engine light came on. Darwin at Sabetha Auto Salvage diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and worked late on a Saturday to get the vehicle repaired. When it came time to pay the bill, Bob was more than fair. I would recommend Bob/Smith Auto and Darwin/Sabetha Auto Salvage the next time anyone needs a vehicle. They were awesome to deal with.
Great place to save money. Good inventory and helpful staff. Make sure to download and print off the inventory and price list from the self serve website to make it easier but if you dont the staff are more than welcome to help look up a vehicle for you.
As a small business owner this is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I ordered body parts, arrived sooner than I expected in the condition and quality as described on the phone site unseen. The lady in charge didn't seem to care if we bought the parts we drove from Lincoln to pick up or not. She told us one thing over the phone and a different thing when we got there. Lucky for us her hubby made it right and sent us home with the parts at the agreed upon price, so in the end all was well.
Hit a piece of metal on I80 and destroyed my front wheel. I spent all morning looking for a replacement in Omaha, no dice. Called Smith, they had my wheel, and it was worth the drive. Great price, great staff, and the even gave me directions to the interstate that saved me time. They really bailed me out, and fixed my crappy day.
So i went back to smiths today to exchange an alternator and was blessed with the owners son behind the counter (who looked real busy at the time...)and explained what i needed and he brings me back the SAME style alternator i had before. After that he got frustrated and said I WAS WASTING HIS TIME.Rather than take the time to find the part i needed he simply gave me my money back. I feel sorry for any other customers that have poor timing like myself and have to deal with this DICK.
I didnt even want to give this business a rating cause the last time i was here the help was great.
