We were driving along I80 towards North Platte towing a UHaul trailer when all the electronics in our truck went dead. We coasted to the side of the road and called Big Red Towing based on their reviews. Justin showed up 40 minutes later and got right to work loading the truck into his trailer and hiking the UHaul up to his trailer hitch. He drove us straight to the Nissan dealership and got us unloaded in no time. He was so quick and efficient, but beyond that, he was kind and compassionate to our plight. We highly recommend Big Red Towing and appreciate Justin so much for being there for us.
Jerry picked up our disabled car, and us, and transported us to Grand Island to dealership. His calm authority and competence calmed me down, and we had a nice "Nebraska" chat on the 150 miles to GI. He delivered us, and the car, and turned a fraught and tense situation into a memorable and more peaceful Nebraska experience.
Yesterday on the east side of North Platte, NE, we had a tire blow out on I-80. Spoke with the kind dispatcher at Big Red Towing who was able to determine where I was and said help would arrive in 30 minutes. We could have changed it but we figured it was worth the wait.
About 5 minutes later Will come in his Big Red Towing truck and in 5 minutes he put the spare tire on and then proceeded to help us load all our stuff back into the car. He also let us know where we could go to get a new tire and helped us with a short cut to get here before they closed. Huge shout out for Will! Recommend Big Red Towing 5 Stars!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
They helped us out with changing a stuck boat tire on a Saturday night, were very fast responding, courteous and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!

On December 26th, my car died in a blizzard on I-80 westbound. Stranded on the side of the road as conditions worsened, we were freezing, panicking, and desperate for help. Every tow service we called estimated a 3- to 5-hour wait—at best.
Then, like a miracle, this heaven-sent older man (Jerry?) arrived in under an hour. Not only did he rescue us quickly, but he also charged just a fraction of what we expected. He was also the sweetest man!
We will always be so grateful for you and your kindness. The work you do helps people more than you may ever know. Thank you for keeping people safe in emergencies like ours. Bless you!
They towed my car for me. They were super nice and helpful. They are also super fast I was on i80 couple miles out of town think I waited for 20 minutes.
Car broke down. Will came and towed our car and dropped us off at our hotel. Absolute angel of a human. super friendly and nice and wanted to make sure we were safe and sound. Had conversations and made us laugh a lot and feel better about a very stressful car breakdown. Couldn't recommend more. We will always remember Will.
These guys showed up in less than ten minutes after I called. The ETA that was given on the phone was 30 minutes. I was 20 minutes between off ramps on I-80. The guy must have already been on I-80 somewhere behind me. They barely confirmed my location, and hung up, and the guy showed up. I contacted them through the AAA app. They contacted me return in less than a minute. I was on the roadside less than 15 minutes.
Had a great experience with Big Red after AAA left me hanging. They were quick as can be, and the tow truck driver was very courteous, professional, and kind. Their services are very reasonably priced, especially given the ease with which towing companies are able to price gouge. Breaking down at a rest area off the highway isn't fun, but it would have been much worse without the help of Big Red Towing & Recovery.
Tire blew out on the interstate in the middle of driving cross country. Service man came & got the job done fast. He was extremely helpful and respectful. Saved us from being stranded overnight. Cannot thank him enough!
Jeremy with Big Red Towing was amazing, the way our car was sitting on the ground (tire/rim completely came off) we were worried that more damage would be done to it just to get it on the flat bed but Jeremy knew exactly how to work it, he took us to the autobody shop and then gave us a ride to Enterprise. above and beyond and super polite and professional. They were very very good. They came and towed my vehicle within 10 minutes after calling and the service work was absolutely amazing. They had me on and out within 45 minutes. Jeremy and dispatch were very helpful and kind. They showed up quickly, were professional, and Jeremy recommended a local mechanic to get our vehicle looked at, within our desired time frame. If I ever need a tow in Nebraska, I know who to call.
This business is guiness! I met them through personal drama. I think you will agree that 99.5% of all tow companies charge more $ on storage fees than the tow itself. I was not sure I was going to be able to afford getting my vehicle out when I got released from jail 14 days later. This company turned a really crummy self induced situation for me into one of the best, most forthright experiences I have ever had of any company.
These people are epic in every way, they do not know how to capitalize on your low moments in life.
I had some car troubles in Brady, NE last night. Called my insurance for some roadside assistance and they set me up with Big Red Towing out of North Platte. Spoke to Linda there, she is awesome. She made me feel better about the stressful situation happening. Jeremy came first to check my battery then brought the tow truck back. He dropped me off at a nearby hotel and then offered to take my car to the dealership for me and leave my keys in the late night drop box. I was so grateful for the amazing customer service from both of them! Highly recommend!!!
Had a engine misfire on I80 about 20 miles from north Platte at 1am while driving from east to west coast. They were there within 50 minutes, gave me and my car a ride back to town, dropped me off at the mechanics and pointed me to the motel next door. Jerry and Linda were super helpful and nice folk.

Kudos to the guy who came to the rescue on I-80 to change our flat this week. Called AAA and he was there within 20 minutes. Also told us where to got to get a new one. It was a very smooth, professional situation.
Had a great experience with Big Red when a tire blew out on I-80. Gal on the phone new exactly where I was by some local landmarks and in 10 mins they were jacking up the truck and getting me going again. In addition they gave a good recommendation to hit up Modern Tire as I had 500 miles to go still so had to get a new tire asap.
Wish I would have called these guys instead of spending 25 mins on the phone with my insurance company trying to get a tow. Reasonable rates too!
Had a tire blow on the interstate at 10:00 at night on my GMC truck. I searched repair shops for someone offering 24 hour service. Called a company advertising 24 hour service; no answer, no 24 hour service as advertised. Called 4 more businesses and only one answered, but it was a "call center ". I then searched for towing companies and found BIG RED TOWING. The call was answered on the 2nd ring. She advised she would get ahold of her employee and have him come out. Shaun arrived around 20 minutes later. He was very professional and changed my tire in a short amount of time. He made sure there was no other damage and made sure the spare had adequate pressure. The service fee was very reasonable. Thank you Shaun and Big Red Towing!
After breaking down on the interstate at midnight with jetskis attached to the back of our car and a different tow company postponing the tow until the next morning and putting us on hold for hours, we canceled with the other company and started calling around to other tow companies. At noon on a Sunday Big Red Towing was the only towing company that picked up and within a couple hours they had our car with the jetskis safely parked at an auto repair shop. Don’t bother with the other towing companies.
