This happened in 2011 or 2012 i cant remember but me and my girlfriend were driving to fresno CA from rochester ny and my yellow cavalier started to over heat and i got off the 80 and pulled into a dairy queen and the lady working said she knew someone across the street i bought coolant and he put it in and made sure everhthing else was okay and even had to follow me back to the DQ so i could use the atm to pay him $40 bc he didnt have a card reader ill always remember brady bc of him idk if he even remembers but i also had a little shihtzu with me. Both my dog carmellow ans my friend who was with me have passed but thats why this will always be a special memory for me

I want to share my amazing experience with J & B Enterprises in North Platte, Nebraska.
I was driving my Freightliner Cascadia 2018 when my starter suddenly broke down. It happened late at night right after I stopped to refuel - the engine shut off and wouldn’t start again. I was completely stuck at the pump and didn’t know what to do.
Then I called J & B Enterprises, and the owner, Jack, answered the phone himself. From the very first minute, he showed a great attitude, kindness, and professionalism. He explained everything clearly - that my truck would need to be towed to his shop, and that he would replace the starter there.
Even though it was very early in the morning, around 5 AM, Jack personally came, picked me up from the truck stop, and took care of everything. He fixed my truck fast and did an amazing job. The most impressive part for me was his honesty and genuine personality. He’s not just a good mechanic - he’s a good person who truly cares about helping drivers.
The price was very fair, the service was excellent, and the communication was perfect. My truck started right away after the repair, and everything worked flawlessly.
If you ever have a problem within 150 miles of North Platte, Nebraska, I highly recommend J & B Enterprises for towing and roadside assistance. Jack is the kind of person you can trust - reliable, honest, and ready to help at any hour.

I pulled into his shop at 4pm with a failed vacuum pump in my 6.0 power stroke. He had the part in hand at 9am the next morning and the part replaced by 1030am and we were able to continue our cross country trip with absolutely minimal downtime.

Awesome experience with J&B. Had an issue with our car in the next town over and J&B had us on the road again in a couple hours. Very fair and reasonable pricing and went over the ticket with pricing summaries so we understood our charges. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
Outstanding service!! A handful of us were passing through from Utah to wi when we lost two wheel bearings on our enclosed trailer at 5am on a Saturday morning. He was able to replace a couple of hubs, clean up the axle shafts, and replace all four bearings in a gas station parking lot in just a couple hours to get us back on the road. Extremely thorough and meticulous with his work and very reasonably priced!
I had to get tires last minute and on a Saturday evening, and JT was incredibly helpful. He checked to make sure the treads on the tires matched my existing ones, and he got me back on the road quickly.
Had a hub on a trailer break off, called J&B and found my trailer hub, brought me a spare rim and tire and had us back on the road in a timely fashion. This was on a Sunday afternoon. Went above and beyond in my opinion. Thank you very much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
Absolute best service ever! We had a flat tire this morning on our way to Michigan. We called JT at 6:30 a.m. on a Saturday morning. He answered our call right away and had us back on the road very quickly. We couldn’t be happier.
One of the bearing caps came off of my boat trailer while traveling across the state. I called and JT answered right way, he was very responsive and came to help out even though it was 8:00 pm on a Saturday night. He had all there parts we needed to rebuild my bearings in stock. Would highly recommended!
Amazing mechanics! We were on a road trip and had car trouble. They were so nice! We called and within an hour they gave us diagnostic and an estimate. They are very honest and give fair pricing for their services. There are no taxi services and we were able to be driven to the closest one in Gothenburg by them. They fixed our car and we were on the road the next day. Thank you so much for everything. If you are having car trouble don’t worry, these are the guys to go to!
We had our serpentine belt snap due to a bad bearing that seized. The owner of the shop was nothing but a gentleman, and kind. Truly one of the best repair shop experiences I’ve ever had. The dog and cat on site also provided assistance! 10/10
This guy right here is a God send. I got referred to him by another place who couldn't come offer roadside assistance. My serpentine belt broke due to a seized guide bearing. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, quick, interested in fixing your vehicle and not price gouging, etc. Unfortunately we were just passing through but if I lived here I would only be taking my vehicles to him! He is truly amazing and if you see this, thank you for getting us back up and running as quickly as you could.
Needed a runner to grab a part from North Platte and take it to Lexington. They were able to help me out on a Sunday in negative degree weather. Got the part to my driver and truck was able to get rolling after hose was replaced. Charged a fair market rate for part run. I paid through credit card.
This place was great. I will warn you, when you pull in it's an eclectic mix of vehicles, but the owner totally bailed us out and is a great guy. We blew a trailer tire on a Sunday afternoon and the owner was able to come from wherever he was and take care of it for us with a brand new tire he had in stock. A gentleman and an extremely fair price.

I could not say nicer things about JT. Just so honest and helpful. We had an irreparable tire and had to replace it. He went all the way to North Platt to get it and brought it back to us. His dog Luna is also so sweet.
Don’t worry about the shop looking a little rustic. He gets the job done!
This is the nicest man you will meet on all of I-80. I blew a tire on my motor coach. Causing severe damage. None of the big box shops were willing to come out on a Friday afternoon. J&B Enterprise went above and beyond to help us get off the interstate and on to our destination. He is a genuine man who cares for everybody on the road!
if I could, i would give JB 10 stars. A few weeks ago i was on a long road trip from CA to Toronto, but the car broke down on the highway near JB's town, that is Saturday late evening, called him, he promised to come take a look the following day (Sunday, supposed the garage is close). Sunday he came and quickly confirm the cause and came up with the solution - replacing the drive shaft. he was so kind to send us to a motel which is 15 miles away, while the parts won't available on Sunday and Monday (happen to be a holiday). Tuesday morning, he found all possible options of supplier and get the cheaper and quicker one which he sent his crew 75 miles to get it, in order to get it the same day and replace it right away so that we will be on the road the same day and no need to spend another night at motel. he only charge us a very reasonable price. a person with a warm heart, care and think of his client or someone like me really need help, ."thank" never enough. thumbs up
Absolutely we give 10 stars to JB and his lovely family. We got shaft broken and towed to JB’s garage. JB drove us to hotel since he had to take time to find the part when all car shops and dealers were closed on Sunday and the holiday on Monday. Tuesday morning he found a part and sent his wife to our hotel to pick us up right away. He was professional, thoughtful, caring and very friendly. He is the one absolutely you can trust! I blew a tire on I-80 early in the evening and this service was 100% there and dedicated to helping us. He towed us to his shop, repaired our Jeep and got us on the road. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, encouraging. A superb human being and professional. Wish I could give him 10 stars.
I'd give J&B 10 stars if I could. They went above and beyond, exceeding customer expectations. We had a blowout on I80 at 7:30p on New Year's Eve. After waiting 2+ hours for AAA service that NEVER materialized, I found J&B online, and called. JT was unable to make the service call himself, but got his brother on the phone, and he came out and changed our tire at 10p....on New Year's Eve!
My hopes of finding replacement tires on New Year's Day was minimal, but JT was able to locate 2 tires for us, and his wife drove 70 miles round trip to pick them up and bring them back to the shop. He balanced and installed the new tires, and we were back on the road by mid afternoon. I would HIGHLY recommend this business. We were extremely impressed with their amazing customer service. Amazingly fast and accommodating service! Our family traveled across country when the water pump in our truck failed. We called roadside assistance through our insurance company but they never showed. The owner of J&B came to the rescue and towed our truck and trailer to their shop and had the truck running in a few hours! I highly recommend J&B for all your auto needs! 10/10 service all around!
We blew a tire on our RV late at night and he didn’t hesitate to come out and help us. He even offered to have us drive nearby to his shop to fill up our spare with air and make sure we had the correct air pressure to continue safely on our trip. Friendly, helpful and caring…can’t beat that.

We were stranded on the side of I80 after the tire blew out on the truck we were flat towing and called a half dozen tow companies in the area with no luck. My wife called J & D and he was at the shop and ready to mount a tire for us in less than 20 min! He not only went above and beyond to help us find a solution but he also didn’t charge us some crazy price (even though it was midnight and he could have charged just about anything) he seemed to care more about helping us get back on the road safe vs making a quick buck.
I don't write reviews often, only for ones that I think truly deserves one. My tire punctured at 8pm Saturday night where most other businesses were closed. We drove over 60 miles on the spare tire to get to JT and he quickly repaired our tire and we were out by 9:30pm. JT is honest, affordable and professional. He cares about his customers and getting them back on the road ASAP. Highly recommend JT and his business.
Blew a tire 3 miles from their shop and couldn't make it in I called them they didn't have the tire size I needed but he called another tire shop 26 miles away and they had it and they agreed to stay open long enough for him to drive 26 miles one way to pick it up and then come back to me to put it on very reasonable even knock down the service charge this all happening around 6 p.m. on a Friday night I have never had anybody else bend over backwards like this for me while I'm stuck on the side of the road if you're broke down anywhere close to here I wouldn't waste your time calling anywhere else I would just call this place first. 2 hours later and I'm back on the road these guys are awesome thanks guys I truly appreciate it
