I love taking my car here. Michael takes great care to make sure your car is thoroughly looked over and you know everything has been looked at. Gives me peace of mind that I know I can count on it. He also found some suspension work that needs to be done later and gave me a general estimate so I know a general price tag so I can save up to get that work done before it is bad. Nice to have a little warning about things coming up so you don’t have unwelcome surprises later. He took his time and answered my questions. Plus the box of Girl Scout cookies was a sweet bonus. Go thin mints! I’ll definitely be back!
Was downtown Crofton when i couldn't get my car to move. Someone said maybe Mike @ downtown auto could help, he came looked at car and had me moving again in about 30 minutes. He is very knowledgeable and even helped me on his day off

My family and I were traveling to the Badlands National Park and on our way we noticed the AC kept switching to the defrost on our 2004 E450. I called Michael with Downtown Automotive and he told us to stop by and he'd have a look at it. It didn't take long at all for him to find the issue. He had my car for approximately 2 months. I had just put a brand new battery in it prior. My complaint was an electrical issue. He charged me approximately $300 and replaced my brand new battery! Got the car back and still the same issue!!! And kept my brand new battery!

We found Michael the owner very honest about our problem. He repaired the truck, at a reasonable rate, and advised us of other issues, that could wait until we returned home.
