I went to local u- pull-it salvage yard for replacement airbag- no luck. Google lead me to A1 auto. I arrived during their lunch, but staff was very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable. After a wait I created, BAM New-used airbag $10 cheaper than any other local or salvage yard so 5 s for A1. Call 1st, but I'd recommend giving them a try.
This used to be an amazing used parts salvage yard, but sorry since the new owners took over they suck extremely…Anyone giving them good revues I promise work for them and is a scam, sayin no shop in Omaha cares for this place since before 2019
These guys are dope! I needed a replacement stereo for a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country and there was definitely no shortage of them around the country. I sent off about a dozen requests for pricing with shipping late one night via email and only heard back from a few companies since most of them don't really use email. A-1 was the cheapest part and the cheapest shipping. Called up and spoke to Tim and he shipped my order the same day, and I received it a few states away just 2 days later. Amazing. Will literally try to find my future car parts from A-1 before looking elsewhere.
Have a PONTIAC TORRENT and need rim they had in stock and everyone else had to have sent into town. Plus beat price by 1/2. Everyone was very nice to help and treated you like a customer
In March we were trying to locate an engine for our 2013 Ford F150 3.5 Turbo. A-1 did not have one available however Dalton was extremely helpful in guiding us regarding possible NOT reliable salvages as well as some of the better and more reliable ones. He also went as far as sending me the listing of all online salvages and in-stock lists to select from. Definitely went beyond as far as great customer service...had this company had an engine for us - for sure would have made us feel good about driving up from Denver to get it. Thank you Dalton!
This place delivers terrible customer service. I called last week to see what we could get for a 2006 Dodge Stratus. I spoke with Tim and was told that for that car they pay between $400-$500. I told him the car runs, but “runs rough.” He told me he appreciated my transparency and that they often have people give them incorrect info, so their quotes are higher than what actually gets paid out. In an effort of not wasting mine, my husbands or my father in laws time getting the car and title squared away, I specifically asked him “what would the worst case scenario be?” He said they can part it out and that the bottom dollar would be $300. Fast forward to today, the “towing company” (Bob and another guy in a rusted out pickup with rusted gate trailer) shows up 25 minutes late and then says he wants to give us $240. I declined, as that is not what I had previously been told by Tim. I subsequently spoke with Tim and he said I was not truthful in what I shared with him about the condition of the car. I am frustrated and disappointed. I am not sure how much more clear I could have been, given I did specifically ask for the “worst case scenario.” Would not recommend reaching out to these guys, as they are dishonest and do not follow through on their word.
I bought two struts for my truck from A-1 and I forgot to mention that for my specific application I had to have OEM struts. The first ones I bought were an aftermarket strut and wouldn't work for my application. Greg was happy to help me out and exchange them for the ones I needed. Thank you Greg and the A-1 team for amazing service! I'll definitely be back.
Stand up folks. Had what I needed, set it aside for me for nearly a week, and even threw in a part I probably needed (and they were right, I did) with no additional cost. This will be my "go to" shop moving forward.
Sold me the wrong transmission. Now my Explorer is sitting on a lift without a transmission. They will not take a return only exchange but they don't have the transmission I need.
Very rude I called and and the person on the line claimed to not be able to hear me so I spoke into the phone loud and clear and still got hung up on and when I tried calling back no one answered..I just felt that was rude.. so I won't be doing business with them ever again
If you have a junk car, I highly recommend giving A-1 Auto Parts a call. Not only do they offer you top price for your junk car, they work with you to solve other problems - that save you money! We were wanting to salvage the good tires on our junk car, but the repair facility where the car died was going to charge us $150 to make the switch. A-1 picked up the junk car, then pulled the tires and gave them to us - for free! It does make a difference who buys your junk car. Call Terry or Greg for great customer service.
I totally forgot about this place. I needed a part for my Impala, I called ahead and they gave me a fair price and was quick to get my part ready. Fair people, polite, I really felt like I was a regular customer. You're in the business that when I say I hope I don't see you soon, is a compliment, but it's true I hope I don't. If I have to go somewhere for a part you are my first call!!!
