On a negative 7 degree day, my duramax diesel pickup gelled up in my driveway 30 Miles from Sioux City, Iowa. I called mobile truck repair. Ralph drove to my house, and had my truck started in less than 10 minutes. he also fixed an oil leak while he was here. Ralph knows his diesels, knows all the tricks, and save me hundreds of dollars on a tow bill and auto mechanic bill. I would recommend Ralph to anyone in a bind. Read my story before you call anyone else. Ralph is one of the few real mechanics left. I've had my truck in multiple shops and multiple dealerships across many states because of the same issue. Every time I spent over 2 thousand dollars only to have the same thing happen later. I didn't have much luck calling and after another road service came and "fixed" it I broke down half a mile later. I seen someone said to text him so that's what I did. He responded 10 minutes later and came to me after finishing the last truck he was working on. Clearly he was tired but he didn't hesitate to connect his laptop and see if he could help. There was an issue with the exhaust again like before. I didn't even have to tell him this was an ongoing problem because he didn't want to immediately just start changing parts. He spent a couple hours running diagnostics because the last guy just cleared a bunch of codes. Ralph discovered a bad spot in the harness under the cab and asked how many times I've replaced a sensor. I told him the entire exhaust is less then a few months old. He showed me pictures of the harness and fixed the wires. I was skeptical at first but he assured me that was the problem. He never cleared a code. The engine light went off after just cycling the key. Its been 9 months now and still running great! He is truly a one of a kind guy and the best mechanic anyone could hope to hire. I am glad I broke down near Sioux City and thankful I sent him a text message after calling didn't work. I realized he leaves his phone in his truck while working and that's why I couldn't get through. So if you want a guy you can trust and have an issue no dealership in the country can fix, call Ralph. If he don't answer then text him. He's a busy guy. Thank you again Ralph! You are my go to mechanic from now on! If I am broken down and its to far away I'll pay to have it towed closer. Ralph is a great mechanic. I had a dead battery even though I had just replaced them. He identified the problem immediately by literally looking at it for a couple minutes. He drove to get the parts himself and fixed the problem and I got back on the road. He goes above and beyond for his customer. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Excellent service. Had an alternator that was shot, got part from Peterbilt in Sioux City right before they closed and couldn’t get the pulley off. Only took 20 minutes for him to get to me, remove old pulley and install on new alternator. Was very fair with his pricing for a close to midnight service call. Highly recommend. Thank you!

This business is top tier, gentlemen came out late on Saturday night and helped me out with my 7.3 Power Stroke. He was more then willing to work around my schedule. Did a great job figuring out the issue , performed great clean work. Price he charged was more then fair.

So appreciative of Mobile Truck Repair My husband and I were traveling through South Dakota in our RV and when we stopped to fuel up noticed that the onboard generator was tilted and hanging - 2 of the 4 bolts holding it in had broken right off. It was a Sunday evening around 7:15 PM. I called several numbers in an attempt to find someone to do a mobile repair and Ralph from Mobile Truck Repair not only was the only one who answered, but was also clearly knowledgeable and skilled. He arrived and expertly fixed our issue, bolting the generator back in and adding reinforcing welds, taking the time to do it right and charging a fair price. It’s so hard to be broken down with an unexpected truck or RV issue and have all the associated headache and stress. Mobile Truck Repair lessened that stress and got us back on the road expeditiously. So much love and respect. We highly recommend!
So I called the guy and I talked to him about the issue of my truck. So he told me go to a truck stop wait over there. I will come there and I fix your truck. So then after 45 minutes waiting truckstop than he text me back. and he say cash up me first. then I will come. and look like he’s a scammer

While driving across the country, we had a leaf pack shear and were in a really bad spot. We called Ralph at ~10pm on a Saturday and he was an absolute blessing!! Instead of being stranded for several days (everyone else was closed for the weekend), Ralph met us quickly, was extremely knowledgeable, pointed out another area of concern and helped us out with it, procured replacement parts very quickly and had us back on the road within two hours. My husband and I had a load coming for SD to OH, lost all power to the lights on the semi and trailer. We called mobile truck repair and ralph responded quickly and came right to us. These guys were amazing! I am traveling back to the west coast and have had quite a month in our Bluebird bus. We’ve had it looked at 4 times between Indiana and Iowa. We were having squeak and screech issues that were supposed to be fixed in Des Moines. Low and behold, four days later, the same problem came back with a vengeance. I called Mobile Truck repair when we got to Sioux City and they were amazing. Ralph pretty much diagnosed the problem on the phone, and he and John cam out and fixed the issue in a timely manner. I was amazingly surprised when they didn’t charge us because of another shops screw up( 3 missing bolts). They were super nice and super knowledgeable. Hopefully I never have to, but I will for sure call them again if we are having automotive troubles in the SiouxCity area! Thank you guys so much!!
Great guy with great service, a complete rockstar. He came out the same day I called when everyone else was 5 days out at the earliest. He stayed out until after 11pm making sure everything was finished and also had great rates. He's also very friendly!
On my journey traveling from Seattle, Wa to Michigan, I had broke the belt on my Touareg. I found myself stranded in Sioux City, IA with no means of getting it fixed. I called Mobile Truck Repair and they showed up to my location and helped with a new belt replacement. If I wasn’t for Ralph I’m not sure when I would have been able to continue my journey. Great service and very knowledgeable, couldn't find the hub I needed he found it 2 hrs away and went got it and fixed it at 230 am would highly recommend if I ever need service while in sioux city or surrounding area it will be my only call
Highly recommended. I had a major suspension issue out on the road. Showed up very quick and worked hard and fast to get me moving again. MTR knows their stuff. Had a great attitude and very friendly. Very reasonable price. Will be my first call if I’m ever in the area with an issue again.
2019 truck would not turn over and I have been having starter problems for sometime now. The tech got there fairly quick in about 30 minutes and got to looking at the truck very quickly. He was friendly, very knowledgeable and had a true talent for fixing trucks. He took starter off took it to local dealership to get new one. Came back and installed it while it started raining. Great attitude and very affordable price. Would definitely recommend calling this company for any breakdowns. I am highly thankful for his help to get me back on the road.
