Bought a set of 2 tires. Can't get them mounted because they are too old. Can't exchange them without the receipt. Fair. I didn't save the receipt. Because I thought I was getting a safe product, looked fine and right size. 125 bucks wasted. Shop that I bought my vehicle to to mount them said it happens all the time. Maybe they shouldn't be selling tires that are that old.
**Edit. After my review they did reach out and were able to pull my receipt. Something the original person said wasn't possible. Overall 3 stars is fair just because of the bumps in the experience. Tires are good and vehicle is riding smoothly.
Looking for stock steel rim for Ford, they said they had them, but when got there and paid $3 entrance fee , walked all around, and all aluminum rims. Found 3 spare tires that might have worked, but they are support for the trucks, so no good. All steel rims are holding up trucks. Should have taken the spare tires off before setting trucks on the rims. It was a waste of time, got a lot of exercise looking. They do have locations of vehicles, types of vehicles, but not access to all parts. Should have the donut tire under truck instead of the spare. No one wants a donut tire so use them for support. Out of 12 similar trucks 3 had spare under the like trucks but couldn't get to them. Frustrating day, I called before I went, and they said yes we have them , just not they are all aluminum.
Went a got parts for my vehicles and thought the price was high looked at my receipt and was charged warranty and never offered to remove the warranty went back in after loading my parts to get refunded and the "manager" said there were signs posted. I never saw the signs. I think they're policy should be to ask if the customer wants the warranty the price is ridiculous
Excellent selection of vehicles. Parts are well organized and fairly easy to find. Great prices and service is excellent. Billy is awesome. She is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Couldn’t ask for more! 5 stars all day.
I wanted to get rid of a car it needed more work than I wanted to do so I called Steve is who I talked to he offered me 325 for the car so I accepted the offer they came and got the car told me then I had to take the title down there told him I didn't have a battery for it then too tok title to them said we only giving you 150 I said no then said that I had to pay them 100 dollars to give me the car back old bait and switch move they are trying to steal the car we had v verble agreement he said nothing a converter thing and he knew it didn't have a battery this is a crooked place I wouldn't deal with them after reading the reviews I'm not the only one they do this kind of thing to I would drive the car off a clif before id sell it for 150 and I will jump off a clif before I would deal with a1 again Steve would be bad for any business a real smart ass think this place does this all the time ripping people off guess a lot of people just leave with the 150 sad they can get sway with this kind of thing
It's a salvage yard, I've been to worse, and I've been to better. This one seems to be fairly well organized, I think their prices are a tad high, but they did have a part that I needed that I couldn't find it any other self-serve yard.
Bought the wrong fuel pump and brought it right back with in an hour and I couldn’t exchange it bcuz I didn’t pay extra for some warranty . So had to buy a whole another one which I got charged for a core for whatever reason. Unacceptable.
Woke nonsense, prices are insane.

Went there last week for tires on my dodge, could not believe the Biden-flation on used tires.

The economy is hard enough on people, people want a deal when they goto the salvage yard.
Expensive, has a monopoly so they just price how they want. Sharon is rude and unprofessional every time I go there I swear she hates her job and life.
They don’t inform you that unless you pay them a little bit extra on top of whatever the parts are you’re not allowed to return them. Also, they do not work with you at all. They are not considerate, worst salvage yard around. Scam stay away all they’re trying to do is steal your money
They are very helpful and curious to all patrons is what I have seen from the staff at A-1. The car graveyard is very well taken care and up kept. The prices are reasonable and fair. Thanks for your efforts.
Went in to replace a tire. The one I picked was damaged.
I went to return my tire the next day on their 10 day return on tires. The staff was very attentive and helpful.

I love coming here to get my parts they have very good prices and basically have everything I have needed there and the workers there are amazing they work hard and do what they need to my most favorite of this company is they don’t yell at you if you sit in there vehicles and have lunch
As a resident of South Sioux City I can tell you the pricing here is outrageous. And then secret fees are added to the total also. Rude employees that are uninformed. I'll take my business to C&H Crashed Cars, Tim at their counter is a great guy and will go to any length to find you a part you need or he will order it to be picked up later.
Tried calling about tire sizes, and before I even finished giving tire size, the lady said they didn’t have any and hung up. This is first time I’ve tried calling them to ask a question, and this will be my last time even trying. Will tell everyone I know about this experience
I had drove 3 hours because I finally found a 3rd row seat that they said they had that would fit my vehicle…. I asked the lady what time they closed cause I was afraid I wasn’t going to make it in time…. I arrive at 5:32 an they proceed to tell me they stop letting people back there at 5:30 an that I can come back tomorrow…… I drive 3 hours with my kids just for them to tell me they can’t let me back there an than proceeded to say I wouldn’t be able to get the part apart within 30 mins…. It’s a very simple removal but I will NEVER purchase from them again.
Five outta five would definitely recommend.. I’ve searched for part here before in the past and staff is always overwhelming friendly An polite my husband shops mostly for our vehicle and is only Spanish speaking they have bilingual store reps to help assist my husband anytime he’s gone to store himself . all an all this company has my best wishes and loyalty

Liars, scammers, and would do anything for a quick buck. Called with a question about a specific part, two employees confirmed it was there. Drove an hour and a half to get there, paid to go in, and then no part... The "manager" billy was unprofessional and continually lied even with the proof showed to her... Don't waste your time or money here
Has a large amount of tires, and good quality cars to take parts from. Employees were friendly, and very informative. Felt bad when they were yelled at by an older gentleman who i assume is their boss. Ruined my experience. Will not be returning to this yard.
Basically, if you need a part for a vehicle, this is the place to go if you don't mind getting a little dirty because you will be out there with all the junk cars removing the part yourself. So, you know what your getting. They offer a 30 day refund policy and you can see what vehicles they have online. Pay minimal fee for entrance plus price for parts. Bring your own tools and closed toe shoe. Have fun!! Friendly staff too
I called to check on hours and policies before junking one of our vehicles. The gentleman on the phone was informative and pleasant to deal with. When I got there , I told them what I had and a employee went and looked at the truck to insure it was what was stated and that everything was good. They wrote a check and it was an easy transaction. While I was in the office I saw others interacting with the employees and they seemed to be respectful and trying to help everyone.
Traveled 60 miles and was not disappointed. Wide variety of vehicles with a multitude of useable parts. The yard was well organized which made finding the parts you need quick.Plus a great friendly staff and amazing prices. Well worth the trip. Definitely going back.
I've been here many times. I've never had a bad experience at all. Prices are a bit high for this area but way cheaper than a parts store. I'd definitely come back here for my parts. The workers are always friendly and that alone makes it enjoyable.
My car was broken into and stolen and completely destroyed inside. After the police found it and returned it to me, this place still offered $150 for the still running vehicle but I asked them to please tow it due to the fact that it was unsafe to drive (shattered windows, no door panels, dash ripped apart with exposed electrical) and they came and picked it up right from my driveway without hesitation. Really enjoyed working with them.
I dont know what those bad reviews were about. I have always had a GREAT experience here. And a lot of friends have too! I got a used battery there yesterday and it didnt seem to work. They refunded my money cheerfully and promptly. Over many visits here I have always had courteous professional service. Thanks !!
